Happy Summer and Happy 4th of July Weekend! It's time for my next design team card for Stamping Dragon Designs, and I decided to do this one in honor of Independence Day. Yay for stars & Stripes and the red white & blue! You have to love this cute image of Rupert from Stamping Dragon Designs waving the flag!
This reminds me of how we used to have big fireworks celebrations at the lake near our house every summer on the 4th. Followed by a cook out, of course. It was always one of my favorite summer activities.
For this card, I used the sketch at Critter Challenge. The papers for this card are from my Stash. The patriotic paper came from an old summer stack from DCWV. I added sparkle to the dragon's tummy and to his wings, with a clearstar gelly roll pen. I used red, white and blue skittles for embellishing. The image was colored using Promarkers.
