Have A Bloomin' Good Easter



Whooo Hoo! I have some great news! I'm here to show you my very first project as part of the Hobbycutz design team! That's right! I made the Hobbycutz DT! Can you beleive it?! What a lucky girl I am! I want to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful Kobie for giving me this fabulous opportunity! I am so looking forward to using the awesome Hobbycutz products once my DT package arrives!

Now that I've given you my great news, let me tell you all about the newest challenge at the Hobbycutz Challenge Blog. Our current challenge is to make an Easter project. My card today uses this adorable image from Squigglefly, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash. I've used sheer pink ribbon across the center of the card, with a pink metal brad on each side of the image. Yellow metal brads were placed in each corner of the image.  I added some funky bright colored flowers, with gemstone centers, across the top of the card. The sentiment is punched with the word window punch by Stampin Up.

Pretty Pretty Flower Pot Pretty



Wow, what a tough winter we've had! If you're like me, you're ready for some warmer weather! I'm dreaming of warmth, sunshine, flowers, and even rain! Yes, yes, I know - why am I thinking of rain?! I guess, because it means Spring brings lots and lots of rain! I'm ready for a change in weather - I'm so sick of the cold, snow and ice, aren't you?! Rain is nice, too, sometimes - Especially nice to sleep when it rains - It's so relaxing to me!

Anyway, let me stop babbling and start telling you all about our new challenge at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog! Since we're all thinking about spring, now, let's see some flowers! That's right - Our theme is to add some flowers.  A perfect challenge theme for this time of year, don't you think? We want to see your flowery creations so come link up with us, for your chance to win.  There are top 3 spots up for grabs as well as a guest designer spot. Oh, and prizes to be won, too!

My card uses the image Lilac Flower Pot Pretties, from Lacy Sunshine. I went with papers in purples, to go along with the Lilacs in the image. I used a mixture of patterns, including stripes and polka dots. Glittered purple ribbon accents the center of the card. I used purple gemstones in the upper right corner. I used the Martha Stewart  branch punch to punch out some greenery and made a vine on the bottom half of the card. I used glittered flowers, with gemstone centers, from the Paper Studio, along the vine.

Hug Me



It's challenge time, again, at Catch The Bug, and this time, we have a Recipe Challenge for you! This week, we want to see you use at least 4 layers, flowers and ribbon.  Oh now don't worry, its easier than it sounds trust me! Give it a try - You'll see - You can do it! I made a girly girl Birthday card, this time.  My card uses the image Girl Teddy Hug, from Bugaboo Stamps,
colored with Promarkers. Pink trim has been added below the image, across the bottom. I've used black and clear gemstones on the trim.  Gemstones have also been used as the flower centers.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Froggy Drink Mug



It's ABC Monday at Catch The Bug! Don't you just love seeing all those other projects you can do, with digital images, other than cards?! Gotta love how versatile digi images are! I found this great drink cup and altered it with papers from my stash. I used the image Hoppy Occasions - Groom, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The stars were punched with a star punch by Recollections.

Are You Feeling Lucky?!



Well, well, we are back, again, with a new challenge for you at Catch The Bug.  I bet you can't wait to hear what the theme is this time!  I'm sure you're aware that St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner, right?! So, what perfect theme for our challenge this week! Our theme is lucky! Sounds like a fun one doesn't it?! Feel free to interpret the theme any way you'd like - Just as long as it fits!  As always, there will be digi prize packs up for grabs, from Bugaboo Stamps, so be sure you come play along with us!

My card, today, is a St, Patrick's Day card.  My card uses the image Edward Elephant - St. Patrick's Day
from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers,  All papers are from my stash. I used some brand new shamrock ribbon that I bought at Hobby Lobby. The metal buttons, too, are new, and came from Hobby Lobby. I used green gemstones around the image and above the sentiment.

I have another thank you card to show you, today.  This one is made in masculine colors, to make it appropriate for a guy.  The card uses the image, AKV Boy - Flower Pot, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  All papers are from my stash. I used buttons, recycled, from an old shirt, and used twine around them, to frame the center of the card. The twine is tied in a handmade bow.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Welcome, March - Hurry Spring!



Happy march, bloggers! Can you believe its March already?! All I can say is, Thank Goodness! Phew! I am SO sick of Winter already! Too cold this winter and too much snow! I am so OVER it! LOL! I am so ready for Spring!

Anyway, we are celebrating the start of March, today, with today's New Release at Bugaboo Stamps, The design team has whipped up some fabulous creations to show you today, featuring one of today's new release images! Jump on over to Catch The Bug to check out the creative genius of the design team!

For my card, today, I used this week's new release, MarchWord, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with a monochromatic theme and used several shades of purple.  The only splash of color is the green for the leaves and lines in the image.  I love this mix of papers together! The card has been embellished with two gemstone flourish swirls, below the image.

Peek A Boo




Hello! I'm peeking in to tell you about our new challenge over at  Lacy Sunshine! This round, our challenge theme is all about Spring! That's right, our challenge theme is "It's A Spring Thing!" Let's see your springy creations! It may be a Spring theme, Easter, Flowers, sunshine, Rain or even just Spring colors! Put some "Spring" in your projects and show us what you've created!

Remember, Lacy Sunshine Challenges last two weeks, so you have plenty of time to play along with us, so start working on those Spring creations and come play along with us for your chance to win! There will be two random winners, for each challenge! One random winner will win 5 images, the other random winner will win three images. Today's card celebrates Easter and uses the new image, Matilda Peek A Boo, from Lacy Sunshine. Isn't she a cutie patootie?! I just love how she is peeking up out of those Easter eggs, don't you?! I used soft springy colors for this one - I think they're the perfect colors for Easter. I used some green ribbon with a Chevron pattern, across the center.  The papers are new, from Hobby Lobby and just go so well with the Easter image. I used the pastel chevron paper along the bottom, layers with light green pinstripes. Blue gemstones from my stash, were used to embellish the card.

I made this card for a male friend, for Easter.  How do you think he will like it?

A Flowery Thanks



Happy Saturday! It's time for a new challenge at Catch The Bug! Whoo Hoo! Our theme, this week, is your favorite and mine - Anything Goes! We want all of you to come over and join us this week - It's a wide open theme, so you have no excuse not to play along!  There are lots of prizes up for grabs, so hurry and link up!

Today I made a thank you card, which uses a flower image from the Mini Set - Izzy Flowers, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used all papers from my stash and used some of them to create a fun set of banners, behind the image. Blue sheer ribbon runs across the bottom of the card, topped with a handmade ribbon bow. I layered diffierent colors and shapes of flowers at the top of the card. Blue dew drop pearls have been used as the flower centers and to embellish the card.
