It's A Christmas In July ABC

Well hello there! Are you enjoying the Christmas In July festivities this week, at Catch The Bug?! The Design Team sure is having fun! We hope you are, too! Hopefully you've been playing along in our daily challenges, too!

Today, our challenge theme, today, is to use a particular color scheme, for your project. You can see the color scheme today, over in today's challenge post, at Catch The Bug - But, basically, the colors are shades of green, purples and pinks.

Today is normally ABC day at Catch The Bug - so Its my assigned day to do an ABC - Anything But A Card.  I chose to do this fun Christmas Ornament. I used a miniataure train track from Mayberry Street Miniatures, painted it with Silks Acrylic Metallic Green paint and used lavender ribbon to hang it. Then, I attached this fun image, Christmas Kids - Boy 2, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I thought it was pretty creative! What do you think about it?!

I found this great drink cup and altered it with papers from my stash. I used the image Hoppy Occasions - Groom, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The stars were punched with a star punch by Recollections.

ABC - Top Me A Cupcake

Have you heard about ABC Monday's at Catch The Bug?! ABC stands for Anything But A Card - Mondays are the day we bring you projects other than cards. For my ABC project, I came up with this cute cupcake topper.  My cupcake topper features this adorable owl image from the Mini Set - Love Circle Sentiments - 10, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The image is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches, then hot glued to a toothpick and stuck down inside the cupcake. Easy peasy cupcake topper, and so cute! You can do these to make your next batch of cupcakes extra personal and just the right theme to fit your next party!

I made this cute little treat container, in fall colors.  Originally, this little glass jar came filled with paper flowers.  I saved the jar and recycled it to make this cute treat container! Cute, isn't it?! All papers used are from my stash. I've used the image Scarecrow - Pumpkin String from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with promarkers. I printed the image twice, fussy cutting the first one, to attach to the front of the jar, with foam mounting tape.  The second image, I punched with a circle punch and matted with a scalloped circle, to decorate the lid.  This makes a great gift idea and who doesn't love candy, right?!

ABC - Nuts About Nursing

Hi all!  My apologies for the lateness in getting my post written.  I am having major computer issues and am without a computer for the time being.  I just remembered this morning that I hadn't written this morning;s post, so had to run over to a friends just to get it done!

Anyway, today is ABC monday at Catch The Bug and its my turn to show you an ABC (Anything Bbut A Card) project.  Today I have for you this cute necklace/pendant.  I used the image Nursing Nut, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with promarkers, to make the pendant.  The pendant is hanging on a black leather  cord with silver clasps.   These are easy to make and a great gift idea!  Won't you consider making some for those family and friends on your Christmas list?

Happy Keester

Well, finally, Spring decided to finally show up and bring us some warm temperatures - And just in time for Easter. I was beginning to think the warm temps were never going to show up, but I'm so glad they have!

Anyway, we're back today with a new challenge for you at Catch The Bug. We're challenging you to an ABC challenge - Anything of your Choice, Bling and Cardstock. This is an easy one, folks, so get our your crafting supplies and start creating! We want to see lots of players this week!  Remember, there are awesome digi prize packs up for grabs from Bugaboo Stamps!

Since Easter is tomorrow, I just had to make an Easter card, for today's challenge.  MY project uses the image and sentiment set,  Gus Happy Keester, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. This is a new fold for me - A vertical step card.  It was very simple to do and I love how it turned out.  I wanted a masculine Easter card, so I went with mostly green and yellow, and green dots for my bling. My "A" (Anything of your choice) for this challenge is the sentiment.
