Welcome, Friends! It's Oldie But Goodie Thursday, at Catch The Bug! Today is the day that we, the design team for Bugaboo Stamps, do our part to showcase some of those older, awesome images, from Bugaboo Stamps. Today I have for you, my first attempt at a a gable fold car.  I just LOVE this card fold, and it was so easy! Have you ever tried one? If not, you really should! They're so fun and easy to make! So cute, right?! My gable fold card uses the uses the image, Ava and Deacon Love, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with a love theme, in black, white, red and purple. I love purple and I know someone who loves red, so this card is the perfect color combo!

Easel Mother's Day

Good Morning Bloggers!

Happy Mother's Day to all those mom's out there and to all those moms who are no longer with us!

I'm back with another challenge and another card for you, today!  Today starts a new  challenge over at Catch The Bug!  Today's challenge is Anything Goes, so you can enter anything you've created! . What did you create for your mom for Mother's Day? We'd love to see it! We'd love to see anything and everything you've created! Remember, anything goes! My mother is no longer with me, but it is still a day to remember her.  Today's card is a Mother's Day card.  My card uses the image, Heel Accessories, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I just love easel cards! It's considered a fancy fold card, but is so easy to make!  This one is exceptionally easy, as its all one piece of cardstock, with multiple score lines.  This card folds flat and is easily mailed, so no special envelope is needed.  I have kept this card simple. I've only used pearls and ribbon, to embellish.  The pink ribbon is tied into a handmade bow. The sentiment is Hand Stamped and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches, by Stampin Up.

It's Challenge time, again, at Catch The Bug! Are you ready?! This week's theme is Anything Goes! Whoo Hoo! *cheers* I know everyone loves this theme, so we are expecting lots of fabulous entries! Get out your goodies and come on over to Catch The Bug To Show us some crafting goodness!

For this round, I've made a spring card.  Don's you just love this fold! My card uses the image, AKV Boy - Celebrate, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored With Promarkers. I used a large flower with a gemstone center, to embellish. More gemstones were used to the right side of the image. I finished off with a pink handmade bow. The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Mother's Day Easel Card

I went with an easel card, today, in honor of Mother's Day. This one is clean, simple, and right to the point! Snow Us Your Favorite Holiday Treat

Welcome to Holiday Chaos Day # 5 at Catch The Bug! I hope you have been playing along with us, every day! You haven't?! Today is also Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Catch The Bug, so I'm using an older Bugaboo Stamps image to create my project today.

My favorite treat from our treat list, today, is Spiked Eggnog. For this treat, we've asked for projects using this recipe: Border Punch, Polka Dots, Glitter + Item of Choice - (Gemstones). I've used the image, Christmas Bear - Side Ornament, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. This card is made completely of scraps from my stash! Can you beleive it?!  I did an easel card, since I haven't made one in awhile. I just love fancy fold cards, don't you? I used a fancy border punch from Martha Stewart across the bottom of the card in two places.  The green polka dot sheer ribbon bow is handmade by me. I used three green gemstones down the top right corner.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 you and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. I added glitter and sparkle to the fur on the hat on the teddy bear image.

Baby Girl Teepee Card

Hey folks! Today is the start of a new challenge over at Catch The Bug!  This week's saturday challenge is one of everyone's favorites..... Bingo! Bingo challenges are sooo much fun and, of course, there are chances to win fabulous prizes from Bugaboo Stamps, so be sure you come by and check out our Bingo board!

Today I have created for you a fancy fold card - This one is a teepee card.  Isn't it adorable? I made it for a friend who just had a baby.  This card is 3D freestanding so mommy can put it in the baby's room as part of the decor, if she chooses.  The card folds flat for mailing, but opens up into a teepee and closes with velcro.  Very cool, isn't it? For today's card, I've used the image Moon Baby - Swing, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I've cut out the image usinf fussy cutting. I used some 3D puffy stickers to embellish the card.  Glitter and sparkle has been added to the moon, on the image, with a clearstar gelly roll pen.

My card creates this Bingo:  Sparkle, Bugaboo Image, Player's Choice: Sentiment.

Love and Romance at Paper Creations Ink

Yay! It's Finally time! I've been holding it under my hat for awhile now.. and now the day is finally here! I'm the Guest Designer at Paper Creations Ink this fortnight! Whooo Hoo! How cool is that?! I love playing along in their challenges, so I was very thrilled when Sara gave me the opportunity to play along with the team for one challenge! Such a talented group they are, so I'm in wonderful company!

The theme this week is Love and Romance, and our sponsor is the fabulous folks at Smeared Ink, who are offering up an awesome prize to the winner! So come on over to Paper Creations Ink and play along in our challenge this fortnight! You could be the winner of a an awesome prize!

I decided to go with a Tri Fold Shutter card. I always send my single friend a card for Valentine's Day, so this card will be for him. Here is the front of my card, when folded:

The image is from Smeared Ink, and is colored with Promarkers. I used all papers from my stash. I love the houndstooth mixed with the hearts and polka dots! It's such a funky combination and seemed perfect for the image. I also got a chance to use some of my new heart shaped adhesive gems on this one, to add some sparkle and bling. I had seen a card similar to this before, and had been wanting to make something resembling it, for a long time, so I was happy when I could find enough of the similar items! The lips came in a valentine die cuts package that I bought - I was so lucky to get them! The SWAK , tag and love U were cut from the Cricut.

Tee Pee Thanksgiving

Hi Everyone!

I have a fun new card style to show you, today! This is my first attempt at making a Tee Pee card, and I had such a blast! I admit though, I didn't do a lot as far as decorating, since this card is for a male friend for Thanksgiving - Didn't want too much foo foo fluff on it, ya know?




I used the following photo from Just Inspirational Challenges as the Color Inspiration for today's card:





The card has three sides and each side is decorated with a different patterned paper and a different image. Two sides have the striped ribbon and one has the leaf patterned ribbon, all from my stash. The images are all by Dustin Pikeand are colored with Promarkers. I added adhesive blingy discs to the ribbon on each side for some extra decoration. I could have went wild with the decorating on this, but I had to keep reminding myself that its a male card so its best to keep it simple! (Can't wait to make a girly one!) I ran out of the orangish colored blingy discs since I went kind of crazy with them, so I had to alternate with green on one side. (I never thought there could be too much bling, but I might have went overboard with this card!!!) The images are punched with circle punches. The card is held together on the right side panel with Ultra Think Hook and Loop Tabs (Very thin, flat, velcro) by Tombow, from their Craft Collection. (If you haven't tried this, oh my goodness, they are so awesome! Very thin and hard to detect on your cards! Go Tombow!)


Here is a pic of the card unfolded. You can see all sides except the side with the tabs, that tucks under the left side, to keep the card closed and help it stand up.


It would make a great centerpiece for the holiday table, too!

Christmas Week at Catch The Bug

I'm playing in the Christmas In July week challenges at Catch The Bug and this is my second card. I'm hoping to play in all of the challenges this week, to show my love for Bugaboo Stamps!

For this card, I went with a fun card fold. This card opens up into two panels with the decorative flap as the third panel. I used the freebie image for Tuesday's challenge at Catch The Bug and colored it with Promarkers. The christmas papers are from Hobby Lobby. Ribbon is from my stash. I added glitter and sparkle to the image and the decorative paper squares with my clearstar gelly roll pen. For my card layout, I used PTT#25 sketch at party Time Tuesdays

Well, finally, Spring decided to finally show up and bring us some warm temperatures - And just in time for Easter. I was beginning to think the warm temps were never going to show up, but I'm so glad they have!

Anyway, we're back today with a new challenge for you at Catch The Bug. We're challenging you to an ABC challenge - Anything of your Choice, Bling and Cardstock. This is an easy one, folks, so get our your crafting supplies and start creating! Since Easter is tomorrow, I just had to make an Easter card, for today's challenge.  MY project uses the image and sentiment set,  Gus Happy Keester, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. This is a new fold for me - A vertical step card.  It was very simple to do and I love how it turned out.  I wanted a masculine Easter card, so I went with mostly green and yellow, and green dots for my bling. My "A" (Anything of your choice) for this challenge is the sentiment.
