Love and Romance at Paper Creations Ink

Yay! It's Finally time! I've been holding it under my hat for awhile now.. and now the day is finally here! I'm the Guest Designer at Paper Creations Ink this fortnight! Whooo Hoo! How cool is that?! I love playing along in their challenges, so I was very thrilled when Sara gave me the opportunity to play along with the team for one challenge! Such a talented group they are, so I'm in wonderful company!

I decided to go with a Tri Fold Shutter card. I always send my single friend a card for Valentine's Day, so this card will be for him. Here is the front of my card, when folded:

The image is from Smeared Ink, and is colored with Promarkers. I used all papers from my stash. I love the houndstooth mixed with the hearts and polka dots! It's such a funky combination and seemed perfect for the image. I also got a chance to use some of my new heart shaped adhesive gems on this one, to add some sparkle and bling. I had seen a card similar to this before, and had been wanting to make something resembling it, for a long time, so I was happy when I could find enough of the similar items! The lips came in a valentine die cuts package that I bought - I was so lucky to get them! The SWAK , tag and love U were cut from the Cricut.

My Try Out for Stampin Dragons Design Team & Challenge card

This Tri Fold Shutter Card is my first attempt at making a card to be submitted for consideration to a design team. This is for a chance at Stamping Dragon Designs for thier Design Team Call! We had to use thier Rock A Bye Jiggy stamp!

I decided to use up some of my stash of old supllies. The patterned paper is from K & C Co., the green flowers are by Prima, with flat backed pearls as the centers. The pink flowers are felt ribbon. The digi stamp image is pop dotted to the front of the card.

The first picture is a front view of the card. The second is a picture of the card, opened up.

Isn't it cute? I left the center blank so a personal message could be added to the card.

I had fun making it and I hope the folks at Stampin Dragon like it!
