Welcome, Friends! It's Oldie But Goodie Thursday, at Catch The Bug! Today is the day that we, the design team for Bugaboo Stamps, do our part to showcase some of those older, awesome images, from Bugaboo Stamps. Today I have for you, my first attempt at a a gable fold car.  I just LOVE this card fold, and it was so easy! Have you ever tried one? If not, you really should! They're so fun and easy to make! So cute, right?! My gable fold card uses the uses the image, Ava and Deacon Love, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with a love theme, in black, white, red and purple. I love purple and I know someone who loves red, so this card is the perfect color combo!

My card for this challenge uses the image, Casey The Clown, by Lizzy Love Oddball Art, colored with Copics. My card layout uses the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. All papers are from my stash. I love the mix of patterns - Chevrons and Polka Dots! I heart shaped die cuts, matted with black, to embellish.  I then attached the hearts with foam tape, for dimension, and added black and white bakers twine, to make them into heart shaped balloons.

Now, on to the details of my card. "Thank You For Being A Friend" is the song that inspired my card. I made this for an amazing friend, who needs some cheering up right now.  I hope she's surprised when she gets this card and some goodies in the mail! Anyway, I went with one of my favorite color combos - Black, White and Pink. My card layout uses the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. All papers are from my stash. I've used a fun mix of papers: Chevron, Polka Dots, Stars and Stripes. I've used the image, Little Monster, by Wonderstrange, hand colored with Promarkers.  I've used pink gemstones and black pearls, to embellish. I added extra sparkle by using a piece of pink glittered ribbon across the center. The image and hearts were mounted with foam tape, for added dimension.This would also make a great card for kids!

An Easel Note Pad and Pen Holder For Mom

Good Morning! It's ABC Monday at Catch The Bug - That's right! Anything But A Card? Are you ready to see a fabulous group of projects - Anything But A Card? I hope so, because you will love what we have to show you today! Stop over at Catch The Bug and check them out! You're sure to be inspired!

I made this cute Note Pad and Pen Holder, as a Mother's Day Gift. I love that it is made totally from Carsdstock and patterned paper! So cute! The note pad holder is actually an easel that stands up, much like an easel card. You can see the easel fold in the side view pic, below.

This note pad and pen holder is now one of my favorite fancy fold projects!

I am Using the image, Spring Boot, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with  both Promarkers and Copics. All patterned papers are from my stash (Thanks to the Hot Buys at Michael's)! On the front of the Note Pad Pocket, I've used a scalloped oval border punch, to punch a border in black and white patterned paper, placed across the center.  I then trimmed the top of the scalloped paper with a strip of sheer red and white polka dot ribbon.  I actually made a handmade bow, too, but accidentally threw it away when I cleaned up my paper scraps - And the bow was made with my LAST piece of that ribbon! Don't you hate it when that happens! Grr!

I have to admit, this project was quit challenging! We were given a digi "Puzzle," I like to call it. Each part is printed separate and you're able to piece them together, however you want.  I have to say, it was a lot of fun to  figure out how I wanted to put it together.  I hope you like my finished project!

My card uses the image, Chessie Catnip Flower Pot Pretties, from Lacy Sunshine, colored with Promarkers. I used this fun paper, from my stash, with hearts and animal footprints. I thought it would go great with this fun kitty image! I fussy cut each part of the image and put them all together, individually, to create this 3D image. I used striped paper across the center of the card.

Wear Purple For Peace Day

It's been awhile, I think, since you've seen me participating in Humor Me Wednesdays, at Catch The Bug, but my turn is up, again, so here I am to share my take one of those strange funny humorous days that the world celebrates - At least some people in the world celebrate them! you probably haven't even heard of most of them, because, trust me, these are not your standard days of celebration! LOL!  Are you ready to see the DT's humorous take on some of these fun, but odd, days? Come check out of Humor Me Wednesday creations at Catch The Bug! Maybe you'll be inspired to Celebrate with us!

Today, I am celebrating Wear Purple For Peace Day,, which is actually May 16th - So if you want to celebrate it with me - You still have time to make your project and join me! Of course, I had to wear purple, myself, to, while I created this project - After all, it's only fitting! This day is especially appropriate for this card, since I did a wedding card - In honor of someone I know who is getting married - And actually had thier wedding dress dyed purple, for the big day! So, you guessed it - This card is for her! :)

My card uses the image AKV Our Wedding - Just Married, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used a mix of colors from her wedding - Blue, cream,brown  and - you guessed it - Purple. (I know, I know - strange color combo, but then her choice  she's the bride! LOL)  All papers are scraps of papers from my stash. I used a cream sheer ribbon from my stash, tied in a handmade bow. The card is embellished with small blue and white heart shaped pearls. The sentiment is hand stamped and punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. I used a handmade felt flower in the center below the image.  What do you think of this odd color combo?!

I went with mostly shades of brown, in honor of chocolate, but added a touch of pink. Pink heart shaped gemstones, in two sizes, were used on each side of the image.

My card, today, uses the Freebie Friday Image Monster Heart Strings, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash. For my card layout, I followed the sketch at Sketch And Stash. I've never been lucky enough to win there, but I keep playing along because I do love thier sketches! I've used this awesome black and silver striped ribbon across the bottom panel of the card, topped off with a handmade bow from the same ribbon. I used two different washi tapes down one side of the top and bottom panels. Red gemstones and black glittered pearls were used to embellish two two panels.

Wow! Can you believe Valentine's Day is just around the corner?! Seems like the perfect time for a love themed challenge doesn't it?! I hope you think so, because that is exactly our theme, this week, over at Catch The Bug! My card today uses the image, Skye's Alexis - xoxo, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash. I used some new Valentine ribbon from Michaels. The heart shaped buttons are from Hobby Lobby and are threaded with with red and white twine. I used red ribbon to make a handmade bow and added it to the bottom left corner of the card.

This is my version of a cute male valentine card. It made especially for my friend Snippy. I hope he loves it!

Oh Cupid, Be Mine

Happy Oldie But Goodie Thursday to all of you! I hope you're ready to stop by Catch The Bug to check out all the DT inspiration for today, from the Bugaboo Stamps DT! There are lots of creative masterpieces there, for your viewing pleasure!

I have another valentine card to show you. I wanted to do a masculine card, but still use valentine colors, so I went with the color combo of pink, white and red, with a touch of blue. My card uses the image Deacon Cupid, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used red valentine ribbon across the top and bottom. I used two red felt hearts near the top left and bottom right of the image. The finishing touch are four pink heart shaped gemstones.

This card is for my friend Dan.

Have A Fairy Special Valentine's Day

Happy cold wintery Friday! Today is Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps - Which means a new freebie for you! Another reason to say, TGIF!

Bugaboo Stamps is offering this adorable fairy with heart, as your freebie this week! Be sure you head over to the Bugaboo Stamps store, to pick it up as your very own.  Also, check out Catch The Bug to see the awesome creations made by the design team, using this fun image!

My card uses the fairy heart image, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used some new Valentine themed papers by Echo Part, My Minds Eye and Recollections.  Don't you just love the mix of patterns?! I used glitter on the wings of the image and red and black glittered pearls from my stash, to embellish. I used white washi tape with black hearts, diagonally across the center of the card. I made the image pop, by using foam mounting tape, to raise the image off the card.

A perfect card for the guy in your life, for Valentine's Day!

This card was made especially for a special male friend who lives in Florida.

Monkey Bundle Of Joy

I have a cute new baby card to show you, using this new release Monkey image, from Bugaboo Stamps. Isn't this just the cutest little monkey girl, sitting on that big banana?! The image is colored with Promarkers. I used a fun sketch that just seemed to fall out of my head onto the paper. I went with a monochromatic theme, but, of course, had to make the banana yellow.  After all, who's ever heard of a pink banana?! I used my new pink gemstones to embellish two corners of the image and three corners on the white patterned paper panel. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 you and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches. All papers are from my stash.

Retirement Means Relaxation and Fun In The Sun

Wow, can you believe it is Thursday, again, already?! The week sure does fly by! Be sure you come visit the design team for Bugaboo Stamps, over at Catch The Bug, so you can see all the awesome Oldie But Goodie creations they've created for you!

If you live in the USA and are like me, then you probably are already sick of the snow and cold temperatures! My boss sure had the right idea - She decided to retire and move to Florida for sun, sand, warm temps and relaxation! I sure wish I could do the same! LOL.  Anyway, this card is for her retirement.

The card features the image, Dottie Beach, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers (by Letraset). I used papers from Recollections, from my stash and a fun mix of chevron, hearts, stripes and polka dots. I used two strips of purple and lavender chevron washi tape, matted with cardstock (From the Paper Studio) and a handmade bow made with this new purple sheer polka dotted ribbon.
