Oh, and now, here are the details about my project for this challenge. I must admit, I've never been very good, in my opinion, of achieving the Vintage look.  So, while the image is gorgeous, I admit, I struggled a bit with this creation.  Hopefully. I've managed to achieve the Vintage look as the end result.  I made this pretty card using the image, Firefly Fairy, by Fairy Tangles, colored with markers. All papers used are from my stash.  I used glitter to add sparkle to the fireflies on the image, to the wings and to the band of stars across her forehead. I've used cream colored ribbon across the bottom and added a matching handmade bow.  The upper left corner of the card has been embellished with a metal filigree corner piece.

My card for this challenge uses the image, Casey The Clown, by Lizzy Love Oddball Art, colored with Copics. My card layout uses the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. All papers are from my stash. I love the mix of patterns - Chevrons and Polka Dots! I heart shaped die cuts, matted with black, to embellish.  I then attached the hearts with foam tape, for dimension, and added black and white bakers twine, to make them into heart shaped balloons.

My Whimsical Little World

Here are the details of my card.  I've used the image, Penny's Special Day, from Di's Digi Stamps, colored with Promarkers. My card layout uses the Sketch at Digi Sketch Challenge. I went with a mix of black, grey and white patterned papers from my stash. The top panel is wrapped with sparkly black ribbon, tied in a handmade bow, I embellished the top right and bottom left corners of the card with chevron printed gemstones.

While you are here, allow me to tell you all about my project for this challenge. My card uses the image, Black Widow, from Smeared Ink, colored with Copics. All papers are scraps from my stash. My card layout uses the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I recycled the metal skull and crossbones that cam off another project that just didn't turn out the way I liked. The spider/bug is a creepy and most interesting die cut.  Don't you just love the extra touch it adds to this card?! I used a punch by Martha Stewart to make the fence.


Oh, oh, and this card is just perfect for my first try at the Smudgy Antics Challenge, too!

And now, here are my card details. My card uses the image Granny's Cookies, from Robyn's Fetish. I went with fall type colors, because, for some reason, they remind me of baking cookies.  I decided to go with a friendship theme, since I have an awesome friend that I always send cookies to, whenever I bake! For my card layout, I used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I've used scraps of matching paper, to make a pennant from out of the sentiment., which is hand stamped. and by Stampin Up! I've used adhesive bronze metallic metal diamonds, to embellish.

Now, here are the details on my card. My card uses the image, Kiss The Bride, by Sassy Studio Designs, colored with Promarkers, I used white cardstock from my stash and have embossed it with several pretty patterns.  I layered each embossed layer with foam mounting tape to give that classy layered look.  The card was finished with a delicate white handmade bow.  I think this turned out to be an elegant, classy wedding card, but could also be used for an anniversary . As a matter of fact, I made this card for a dear friend and her husband, for thier wedding anniversary  I think they are going to love it, don't you?!

Oh, wait, don't leave before I get a chance to tell you about my card!  I feel like I truly embraced the Unusual Christmas theme! It's fun, now and then to be different and bring out a little (or a lot) of your darker side.  (We all have one - admit it and show us your dark side creations!) I wanted to color the images in "darker" colors and incorporate skulls, to create a different type of Christmas card.

This is a rarity to me - I actually had so much fun with this card, that I decorated the inside, also - I rarely do that, so this card is definitely special, for a special person! All papers used are from my stash.  (Gotta love that skull paper that I never got the chance to use for Halloween!)  The black white and gold metallic foil snowflake paper seemed to be perfect for this "Darker" Christmas card. My card uses the image Holly and Rosehip Wreath, from Delicious Doodles, colored with Promarkers. My layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I used skull printed ribbon and a handmade bow, across the bottom.  I used these fun skull shaped buttons to embellish on either side of the bow.  The sentiment is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

This card was created for a wonderful friend, for Christmas.  I know my friend will love it and appreciate it!

I'm back, again, already! Are you tired of seeing me, yet?! This time, I want to tell you abut our new challenge at Open Minded Crafting. Just in time for Thanksgiving, we have the perfect challenge. Our challenge them, this fortnight, is "Grateful." We want to see your creations of gratitude, whether it be Thanksgiving or just a general thank you card. Anything you can think of, to show gratitude or to give thanks.  You have two weeks to play along with us, so surely you can fit us into your holiday festivities, right?!

Oh, I'm sure you want to hear the nitty gritty details about my card while you're here, too, don't you? I hope so, because I'm going to tell you about it! LOL!

I went with a thank you/love card, this time. My card Uses the image, Flowery Bride Mon Amour,from The East Wind, colored with Promarkers. This card would be great to say thank you to that special love in your life, or could be used, also, as a wedding card to your new husband. For my card layout, I've used the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I wanted to add some color, so I went with shades of pink red with black and a touch of purple.  (After all, everything is better with a little - or a lot - of purple!) I trimmed the image at a funky angle to add a fun twist to the card layout.  Plus, it made a great place for me to stagger my sentiment.  I love how it turned out.
