Oh, wait, don't leave before I get a chance to tell you about my card!  I feel like I truly embraced the Unusual Christmas theme! It's fun, now and then to be different and bring out a little (or a lot) of your darker side.  (We all have one - admit it and show us your dark side creations!) I wanted to color the images in "darker" colors and incorporate skulls, to create a different type of Christmas card.

This is a rarity to me - I actually had so much fun with this card, that I decorated the inside, also - I rarely do that, so this card is definitely special, for a special person! All papers used are from my stash.  (Gotta love that skull paper that I never got the chance to use for Halloween!)  The black white and gold metallic foil snowflake paper seemed to be perfect for this "Darker" Christmas card. My card uses the image Holly and Rosehip Wreath, from Delicious Doodles, colored with Promarkers. My layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I used skull printed ribbon and a handmade bow, across the bottom.  I used these fun skull shaped buttons to embellish on either side of the bow.  The sentiment is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

This card was created for a wonderful friend, for Christmas.  I know my friend will love it and appreciate it!

What?! Santa Has Enough Reindeer?!

Good early morning, everyone! Are you excited? I hope so, because its New Release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps! We have some adorable new images for you, today, too, like this one - Puppy - Enough Reindeer. Isn't he just the cutest lilttle puppy you've ever seen?! I just fell in love with him when I seen him! He's just the thing for your Christmas cards,  What?! You haven't started on Christmas cards yet?! Oh, my, then you better get started! Why don't you start with picking up this little guy, and maybe a few others, from the Bugaboo Stamps store?

My card uses one of today's new release image and sentiment set, Puppy - Enough Reindeer, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers used are scraps from my scrap bin. (Gotta use up those scraps so we can buy more paper and make MORE scraps, right?!)  My card layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I went with a fun mix of patterns this time, with tartan (plaid), santa and snowflakes. I felt they were perfect for this poor little reindeer puppy, so hopeful, as he stands out in the snow. I embellished with two pointsetta flowers, backed with burlap. The flower centers are jazzed up with tiny pearls.  I added glitter to the puppy's hat, the bells on his color and the snow beneath him.

This card was made to send a wonderful male friend of mine, for Christmas.  I'm sure he will love it - He doesnt mind if there are flowers on the card, for Christmas! :D

Brrr Winter Is Coming

Good morning, good morning, bloggers! It is New Release Tuesday at Catch The Bug! Whoo Hoo! We all love new releases, don't we?!  Well, we have a real seasonal cutie for you, today! Meet the newest addition in the Kidz line of digi stamps - And this one is just perfect for Winter! (Not that I like Winter or anything, because I truly detest it! However, it exists and so one must learn to accept it! LOL) She is adorable bundle up in her little hat and jacket.  Great for those winter wishes cards, or even for making Christmas cards!

Today. I am here with a second post about our Christmas Color Challenge at Catch The Bug. Even though it was my day to do an ABC, I wanted to do a card as well.

My Christmas card uses the image, Ruby Christmas - Present Stack, from Bugaboo Stamps,
colored with Promarkers. I used the following sketch, Sketch N Stash Sketch #18, as my card layout.

I used round buttons and snowflake shaped buttons to embellish the card. The upper corner is decorated with a pink handmade bow. I used a sentiment by Sentiments 4 You, punched with oval punches.

I've done another Christmas card, today, using the image, Winter Princess Emily.  Isn't she gorgeous?! I had so much fun creating with her.  She is so pretty and elegant - That I wanted to try to create a card that was elegant, just fitting for Emily.  Hopefully I've accomplished that, with this card.  I used pretty blue papers from my stash. I love the striped paper, with the silver foil accents.  I used glitter to add sparkle and shine to parts of Emily's dress and rows of tiny blue pearls outlining three sides of the image, to add elegance.

Show Me An Ugly Sweater

Here I am with new about Holiday Chaos Day #4  at Catch The Bug.  I hope you've been playing along with us, all week! You don't want to miss out on the great prizes that are up for grabs!

The theme, today, is to create a card or project based on one of our recipes for a family member's ugly sweater! Sounds like fun, doesn't it?! Come over to Catch The Bug to check out the recipe list for the ugly sweaters in the family! Come pick one, create your project and link up to win!

For my card, I chose to create using the recipe for Dad's Ugly Sweater.  The recipe is to use Blue, Green, Gold + Santa.  This image is perfect, too, with the adorable guy dressed up as Santa, putting gifts under the tree.  I've used the image AKV Christmas - Under The Tree (New November Release), from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I think this card turned out great, with the colors of blue, green and gold - I had never thought to use this color combo before now! All papers are from my stash. Don't you love the blue paper with snowflakes on it?! I used gold glittered ribbon and gold glittered flatback pearls.  I used a clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter to the star on the tree. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Topiary Tree turned Snowman! Oh My!

HI all! Hope you're having an awesome morning!

I'm back, today, to tell you all about the new challenge going on, now, at C is For Challenge. The theme, this time is "Winter Is Coming."  Uggh I hate to even think about Winter, but unfortunately, we have no choice, at least here in the states!  It's been sooo cold and today we are supposed to get snow here in Ohio! Blah, Yucky! I hate hate hate snow! I think snow is evil! LOL!

Anyway, let me stop rambling and get back to the challenge details.  As always the challenge at C is For Challenge runs for two weeks, so that gives you plenty of time to play along! For my card today, I made a sparkly winter card. This is my second project as guest designer for C Is For Challenge and I'm having so much fun joining in with thier challenges! I've used the image Snow Cap Topiary, by Scribbles Designs, colored with Promarkers. As soon as I seen this image, I immediately thought it may look cute, turned into a snowman - So that's what I did! It was fun to transform the image and I think it turned out so cute! What do you think?! I used two gems as eyes to make he topiary into a snowman. I used an orange Promarker to draw on the nose, and a fine tip black Promarker to draw his smile.  Three more gems were used to make buttons on his middle. A clearstar gelly roll pen was used to ass glitter and sparkle to the snow on each layers of the topiary tree, as well as to the ribbon around the base of the pot. All papers are from my stash. I used a handmade ribbon bow and three blue gemstones to embellish the card and add the finishing touches. The sentiment is hand stamped, with a stamp by Taylored Expressions, and punched with circle punches

Chic Sparkly Christmas

Good Morning!

I have a cute card for you, today! Another Christmas card! Can you tell I am getting into the Christmas spirit?! I hope you are, too, because Christmas will be here before you know it! If you haven't started your Christmas cards, yet, you better get busy!

For today's card, I am using the October freebie from KennyK Downloads - This cute snowman, colored with Promarkers. All my papers are glittered, to add sparkle, and are scraps from my stash.  I also added glitter to the snowman, as well ad embellishing with two shiny sparkly snowflakes, and a snowflake button.  The bottom panel has three recycled buttons, threaded with baker's twine. My sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches. I put some wiggly eyes on the snowman and tiny black pearls down the front, for his buttons.

Happy Holidays, Big Boy!

Wow, can you believe it?! I'm back, again, this morning, with another card for you! This time, a Christmas card using this super sexy and oh so fun image, Bow (Adult) by  KennyK ! Perfect for the guy in your life!

I went with Winter colors. All papers are from my stash. The purple and blue looks great, together, don't you think?! I used purple gemstones to embellish, as well as blue glittered ribbon and a shiny snowflake! I think this card is just right for entering into the current KennyK challenge, Merry And Bright! My sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Snowman Thank You

Wow, can you believe how fast Christmas has come and gone?! It was here and gone before we knew it, wasn't it?! Of course, we had lots of snow here, after Christmas, which came in before we knew it.. two snow storms in a row, but luckily one didn't amount to much!  I hate hate hate snow!  But, I do love snowmen!  Which brings me to today's project!

It's time for a new Stella Says Sketch challenge at Catch The Bug, with awesome prizes from Bugaboo Stamps up for grabs! Come over, check out our new sketch, and play along with us! We love it when you participate, and you could be one of our next big winners, just for playing along!

For my card layout, of course, I used the sketch from the current Stella Says Sketch challenge. I've used the image, Snowman Star, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used this fun new paper pack from Bo Bunny, in nice winter colors. The border was punched with the drippy goo punch, by Martha Srewart, then sparkle added with a clearstargelly roll pen.  I also added sparkle to the snowman, as well, with the same pen.  The crystal snowflake embellishment is from my stash.  My sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Santa's Peeking In!

I am currently recovering from surgery, so this post has been set to autpost - Forgive me if I've made any mistakes!

My card today uses the current Stella Says Sketch, and features this week's freebie image, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used the sketch at Sketch and Stamp for my card layout. I went with traditional Christmas colors.  The image wiggles when you move the card and is mounted with an adhesive wobbly spring.  (Sorry, I don't know the official name for them - The package says wobbles LOL) I used a clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter and sparkle to the image. The metal metallic silver snowflakes are from my stash.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

My card today uses the current sketch for the Stella Says Sketch challenge.  The image is Stella Calendar Months - November, by Bugaboo Stamps. I went with a monochrome blue look, perfect for winter.  The ruffled dotted ribbon is by Stampin Up.  The card has a light blue bow and three snowflakes as added embellishments.  Glitter and sparkle has been added to the image with a clearstar gelly roll pen.  The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Snow Beary Cute

Hey everyone! How's the weather there?! If you're like me, you're still in the middle of winter! Yucky! I hate winter! The only good thing about it, is getting to use these fun winter time digi images! LOL (That's the only kind of snow and snowflakes that I like, I'll tell ya!)

We have a new challenge, and a new featured image for you, today, at
Shelly's Images! The theme this week is something new for us and a really fun one! It was Shelly's idea, and is so cool! The theme is Roll 'Em -On the Shelly's Images Blog, there's a list of elements, each assigned a number. The idea is to roll the dice (Or use the random number generator on the sidebar) to choose three numbers, then challenge yourself to use those 3 elements on your project! I wasn't sure about it, myself, at first, but it really was a blast, once I got started! I feally hope we do more of these! It was great fun!

Oh, and then, there's today's featured image, Snow Beary, available today only for a special price, in the
Shelly's Images store. Get him at the discounted price while you can! He's a real cutie!

And now, here is my project, featuring Snow Beary. I used the following numbers on our "Roll 'Em" list:

#0 - Doodling
#3 - Use 3 Layers
#8 - Buttons, Brads or Bling (I chose Bling)



My card layout uses the sketch at Inspirational Card Sketches. The image, Snow Beary, by Shelly's Images, is colored with Promarkers. I used a 0.1 fine point black Promarker, to do the doodling on the frame of the image. The blue snowflake paper is a scrap from my stash. The gold papers are from a new paper stack by Recollections, that I got for Christmas. The circles were punched with circle punches of various sizes. I added a white gliterry snowflake and a silver adhesive pearl, to add bling. My card has three layers. The image and the smallest circle are attached with foam mounting tape, for dimension.

Let's Build A Snowman!

Hello everyone! Welcome! I'm so glad you stopped by today! I have a new card to show you, perfect for the winter blues! The challenge this week at Shelly's Images is "Out With The Old, In With The New." We want to see your projects featuring a new item to your crafting stash. The perfect way to start using some of those wonderful goodies we got for Christmas!

The DT at Shelly's Images have some wonderful creations to show you, too! Shelly's featured image today is the Snow Man Set, available today only, for a special price in the Shelly's Images store. My card layout uses the Sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I'm of course, using the snowman from the snowman set by Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers. All papers are scraps from my stash. The button is recycled from an old winter sweater I purged and trashed from the closet. The ribbon is new, from the bargain bin at Michael's. Yay for bargain bins! I've used my clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter and sparkle to the image.
