It's A Framed Baby Animal Safari

Good Morning! I have a new project to show you.  This time, I thought you'd like to see something besides a card.  How about these two framed baby animal sffari collages?  So cute, aren't they? These were made musing pieces of scrapbook papers and cardstock, then framed.  A few ribbon bows were added for decoration.  A few pearls were used in the collage in pic two, to make what looks like an animal paw print. Glitter and sparkle were added to some of the animals with a clearstar gelly roll pen.  I used small paw print stickers around the outside of the frames, to add that final touch.  These cute frames were made as a baby shower gift for a baby boy. The nursery is decorated in animal safari theme. Wont these be just adorable hanging on the wall in his room!

My card today uses this week's Freebie Friday image, from Bugaboo Stamps. I went with traditional Christmas colors of red and green, with a touch of cream.  All papers are from my stash. THe image is colored with Promarkers, with glitter and sparkle added using a clearstar gelly roll pen. The two metallic gold bows have pearl centers are are the perfect added touch.

Get Well Angel

Hi all! It's Oldie But Goodie Thursday! Yay! Are you ready to see the team bring some of the older images from Bugaboo Stamps? I hope so because we have some awesome inspiration for you, today! Of course, I have my own creations to show you, but there are also some other fabulous creations for your drooling pleasure - Check out Catch The Bug to see all the creative genius!

I have a cutie patootie get well card to show you, today.  My card is nice and girly and features the image and sentiment set, Bugaboo Angels - Get Well soon, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  My card layout uses the sketch at Sketch and Stash. I went with a striking color combo of black, white and red. All papers are new to me, from a recent shopping frenzy.  (Who doesn't love a good shopping frenzy, right?!) The card is embellished with a red poofy flower, black ribbon bow with pearl center and black individual pearls.  All embellishments are from my stash. The sentiment is from sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Wedding Bears

Hello everyone! Welcome back, for another new release Tuesday, for Bugaboo Stamps! Are you ready to see some awesome creations using one of today's new releases?  Come on over to Catch The Bug to check them out!  Oh, and the DT would be thrilled if you'd leave them some love while you were there!  Remember, new releases are in the store, starting today at Bugaboo Stamps! Hurry over and pick up some of these new cuties!

My card features one of today's new releases, Wedding Bears, from Bugaboo Stamps. I used black and off white as my color base, with a pop of red in the image, the ribbon and the bow.  I think it turned out to be a striking color combo, don't you?! Glitter and Sparkle has been added to the image, with a clear star gelly roll pen.  The ribbon and bow are both glittered, with two gold pearls in the center of the bow.  Black pearls have been added to the sides of the image.  The border is punches with a border punch by Martha Stewart.

I'm A Witch - So What?!

Whoo Hoo! Welcome to another Saturday challenge at Catch The Bug! As you may know, once a month, Catch The Bug has a Bingo challenge for you to play in - Well, this is Bingo week!   Everyone loves this theme, so I have a feeling you do, too!  Remember, there are fabulous digi prize packages up for grabs, so be sure to play along, for your chance to win!  Are you ready to get busy creating?! My project, today, features the image and sentiment set, Stella - Call Me Witch, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used fun Halloween papers from my stash.  Sparkle and Shine has been added to the stars and hat buckle on the image, with a clear star gelly roll pen.  I used a clear Glaze to Stella's glasses, to make the lenses have that glassy look.  The sentiment is punched with a circle punch.  The creepy ooey gooey black border was created with the Drippy Goo punch by Bugaboo Stamps. Bright green buttons, recycled from old clothing, and a polka dotted black and white ribbon, all from my stash, were used for embellishing. For my card layout, I used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

Get Froggy At The Beach

Hi everyone! Here we are with Oldie but Goodie Thursday, at  Catch The Bug! Don't you love it when we take the older images from Bugaboo Stamps and bring them back into the spotlight?! I do! My card, today, uses the image, Beach Frog - Beach Toys, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with a mix of bright summery colors, for my summer themed card.  I used a fun flip flop patterned paper and some polka dots, from my stash. The pink flip flop is a button that I've used for embellishing.  I used a pink bow with pearl center, from my stash, and some pink gemstones.  What a fun girlie summery card with the pearl and all that bling! Sweet Baby Girl

Here we are, with New Release Tuesday, at Bugaboo Stamps.  Today's featured new release is this adorable Baby Cow.  Such a cutie! I absolutely loved working with this image! My card uses today's new release image, baby cow, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  I went with a fun polka dot paper from my stash, paired with green cardstock.  The pink pleated ribbon is from Stampin Up. For my card layout, I've used the sketch at Fetch A Sketch. I used three pink bows with pearl centers, for adding that little extra bit of girly.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Today, 'Ive created another masculine card, since its always the kind of card I need to have in my stash - I never know when I will need one.  I'm using the image, Crabby Cat - Talk To The Paw, from Bugaboo Stamps. The papers are all from my stash.  Crabby Cat has been colored with Promarkers.  The buttons are recycled from old clothing, and then tied with bows of baker's twine.  My sentiment is from Bugaboo, also, and punched with oval and scalloped oval punches

Clip It Together at Tuesday Throwdown

Hi everyone! It is week 2 of my guest designer spot at Tuesday Throwdown and we have a fun theme for you, this time! The theme is "Clip It Together." We want to see projects made using a clip of some kind. Awwww, now no moaning and groaning! It's not as difficult as it sounds! (Although I admit - When I first heard the theme, I thought to myself, "What Am I Ever Going to do with a theme like this?!" LOL!) Beleive me here, its easier than you think! C'mon and take us up on the challenge and play along! You can do it! You really can! And we want to see it! Ther is a great prize up for grabs, from Sweet N Sassy Stamps, so that should give you even more incentive to play along! Now, onto the details of my project. I found that once I had my image ready to go, and chose what kind of "clip" I wanted to use, it was just a matter of choosing papers. Once I did that and got started it all came together pretty quickly and I was very happy with the results! Especially for a theme that I had no clue what to do with! LOL

My card layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I used the image, Feathered Friends, from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. The image is colored with Promarkers. The papers are all from my stash. One was punched with a scalloped circle punch by Paper Shapers, and one punched by a frame punch from EK Success. (Gotta love punches and shapes! And, I admit, I'm a punch fanatic - There, I Said it!) I love the glittered details on the scalloped circle. I used a recycled blue funky shaped paperclip on the funkily punched piece of paper, and it gave it such a cool, even funkier, look! Love it! The buttons are also recycled, from old clothes that have long went to the trash. Baker's twine added to the buttons give them just the right added touch. I used some white tulle and made a bow, to add the finishing touch. (I know its a bit difficult to see in the pic - Its in the bottom left corner - A big bow, too! Be sure you don't miss it!)

My card is a tent top rocker card. This is my first time making one, and I love how it came out! It's so cute the way you can lightly tap one end of the card and it will rock back and forth like a rocking horse! So fun! I used lots of supplies from my stash, for this one. The papers are from my scrap bin. I've used the image, Skelekinz - You Have My Heart, by Bugaboo Stamps. (I LOVE the Skelekinz line of images!) and colored her with Promarkers. The black dew drop pearls and black and white spotted bow are all from my stash. I added some red lace as something "different," and to add a finishing touch. The heart border was punched with a double heart PATP border punch by Martha Stewart.

Inside the card says, "You Have My Heart."

My project today uses the image, Lil Cool Dude, from Bugaboo Stamps. He's colored with Promarkers. I wanted to do a masculine card, so I went with Monochrome blues. All papers are from my stash. The ribbon is new. I embossed with the white panel with the spots and Dots Cuttlebug folder. The card Layout uses the Sketch at Sketches By Carly. The buttons are recycled from old clothing that has long been thrown away.
