You'll Come Out On Top

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's time for a new challenge, today, at Catch The Bug! This week's challenge is Bingo! One of our favorites, and, hopefully one of yours! As always, there are are prizes up for grabs, from Bugaboo Stamps, so hurry over to Catch The Bug and link up your bingo creation with us, for your chance to win!

Today, I have a very special card to show you. This card was made for someone who means the world to me, and is going through something very stressful right now. Please say a prayer that things will turn out in a positive way. He really needs prayers and positive vibes.

My masculine card uses the image, Puppy Pile, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers used to create this card are from my stash. The paper with the anchors is symbolic of his courage, so it was perfect for this card. Polka Dots and puppies were used, to lighten up the mood and hopefully bring a smile. (Who doesn't smile over puppies and polka dots?!) The card layout uses the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I've used denim fabric tags as little banners, for my hand written sentiments. Tiny wooden buttons were used to embellish the top left corner of the card, as well as below the image.

Big Hats Make Your Butt Look Smaller

Wow, can you beleive its already Thursday at Catch The Bug?! And that means another Oldie but goodie day with images from Bugaboo Stamps. I love thursdays because its our chance to showcase some of the older images and reintroduce you to more Bugaboo goodness! Come over and check out Catch The Bug for lots of oldie but goodie inspiration!

My card uses the image and sentiment, Stella Red hats - Big Hats, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promakers. I used beautiful purple tones, with touches of pink, pastel yellow and green. I used both circle and oval punches on this card. All ribbons are from my stash, I used gemstone circles and purple gemstones to add sparkle and bling. Afterall, you have to have bling, when you wear a big hat! Besides, I'm thinking the bling might make our butts look smaller, too! LOL! The flowers are by prima, with a purple gemstone center. The leaves beneath the flowers were punched with a punch by Martha Stewart. My card layout uses the sketch at Sketches by Carly.

Boys Will Be Boys

Good morning, everyone! It's another Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Catch The Bug! We've brought to life some of the older images from Bugaboo Stamps and you're going to love the inspiration! Head over to Catch The Bug to check out all the creations from the team!

My project for today features the image, Bugaboo Brats - Sean Slingshot from Bugaboo Stamps. Sean is quickly becoming one of my favorite little fellas! He's colored with Promarkers. I used all new to me papers from a recent paper swap that I participated in. (Thank you, Stephanie Serrano!) The buttons are recycled from old clothing that have been thrown away and the buttons become part of my stash. My card layout uses the sketch from Fetch A Sketch.

Here Comes The Easter Bunny!

Well, if you're weather is anything like mine has been, lately, Spring is definitely in the air! Temperatures in the 70's all week, wow! I'm absolutely loving it! I cannot wait until temps like this are here, to stay!

My card layout uses the
sketch at Fetch A Sketch. The image is Easter Bunny, by Shelly's Images. This cute little bunny is covered with Promarkers. I went with the clean and simple look, to show off the cute Easter Eggs in the background. I cut the easter eggs out of a piece of designer paper and matted them on cardstock, then attached them to the card.

Clip It Together at Tuesday Throwdown

Hi everyone! It is week 2 of my guest designer spot at Tuesday Throwdown and we have a fun theme for you, this time! The theme is "Clip It Together." We want to see projects made using a clip of some kind. Awwww, now no moaning and groaning! It's not as difficult as it sounds! (Although I admit - When I first heard the theme, I thought to myself, "What Am I Ever Going to do with a theme like this?!" LOL!) Beleive me here, its easier than you think! C'mon and take us up on the challenge and play along! You can do it! You really can! And we want to see it! Ther is a great prize up for grabs, from Sweet N Sassy Stamps, so that should give you even more incentive to play along! Now, onto the details of my project. I found that once I had my image ready to go, and chose what kind of "clip" I wanted to use, it was just a matter of choosing papers. Once I did that and got started it all came together pretty quickly and I was very happy with the results! Especially for a theme that I had no clue what to do with! LOL

My card layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I used the image, Feathered Friends, from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. The image is colored with Promarkers. The papers are all from my stash. One was punched with a scalloped circle punch by Paper Shapers, and one punched by a frame punch from EK Success. (Gotta love punches and shapes! And, I admit, I'm a punch fanatic - There, I Said it!) I love the glittered details on the scalloped circle. I used a recycled blue funky shaped paperclip on the funkily punched piece of paper, and it gave it such a cool, even funkier, look! Love it! The buttons are also recycled, from old clothes that have long went to the trash. Baker's twine added to the buttons give them just the right added touch. I used some white tulle and made a bow, to add the finishing touch. (I know its a bit difficult to see in the pic - Its in the bottom left corner - A big bow, too! Be sure you don't miss it!)

Edward Elephant Is Out Of The Box

Hey all! Welcome to another New Release Tuesday, for Bugaboo Stamps. Jodie has the wonderful Edward for us, today. So cute! I mean, c'mon, who doesn't love Elephants?! He's now available for sale, now, in the store at Bugaboo Stamps! Hurry over and get him, then come over to Catch The Bug and show us what you create with him!

If you want some wonderful inspiration, check out the most excellent projects over at Catch The Bug. The DT has done a fantastic job showcasing this cute new image!

My project features Edward Elephant, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I triple matted him to make a frame, to set off the image. Primary colors are my chosen color palette, this time. I used a mix of gingham and striped papers, all from my stash. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches. I added faux stitching to the scalloped circle, with a white opaque pen by Inksentials. The trio of buttons are recycled from an old shirt that has long been thrown away.My card layout uses the sketch at Cards For Men.

Old Bunnies Don't Die

It's Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Bugaboo Stamps and Stella is hopping in to tell us what happens to old bunnies! LOL ! Gotta love Stella and her fabulous words of wisdom! She's definitely an Oldie But Goodie, herself, too, so I felt she was perfect for today. As always Oldie But Goodie Thursday is so much fun! The DT does an awesome job bringing the older images back into the spotlight. (Again, perfect for Stella, since she often steals the spotlight!) My project today is an Easter card. I went with bright, fun Easter colors. The image and sentiment are Stella Tidbits - Old Bunnies, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash, mostly scraps. The ribbon is a scrap from my ribbon scrap drawer. My card layout uses the sketch at Sketch N Stash. I cut the two Easter eggs from an Easter paper, and used them as embellishments. Image attached using foam mounting tape for lift and dimension. Flowers are by Recollections, with pearls added for the flower centers. Sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Wedding Wishes

Love, Love, Love With Bugaboo Stamps

Welcome to another Stella Says Sketch challenge at Bugaboo Stamps! We hope you're all enjoying the biweekly sketches! It sure seems so! We have more and more participants each time, and we love to see all the fabulous participation! We hope you'll come over to

My project, today, uses the sketch from the current Stella Says Sketch challenge. The image, Ava Deacon Love Word, is of course, by Bugaboo Stamps. This cute little couple is colored with Promarkers. All papers are scraps from my stash! I guess you can tell that I love polka dots! I didn't use any embellishments this time, so I could show off the fabulous sketch! I love the way this card turned out! Hope you do, too!

Gotta "Love" Freebie Fridays!

My project uses new release, Kidaz, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. My card layout is the
Sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches. I used flowers from Prima and Recollections. All papers are scraps from my stash. The white paper has embossed pink and red hearts. The butterfly is punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

Black Silver and Bling

Whoo Hoo! My second Christmas Card for today!

I went with black, silver and bling, with a touch of red. My card layout uses the Sketch at Sketches By Carly. I used another image fromBugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used scraps of paper from my stash. The circles are punched from fun black and silver glittered paper. I used black and silver gems for added bling

Skeletons Four

Are you ready for another project for the 12 Days of Halloween at Simply Betty Stamps? This is my creation for Day 4. We were asked to make something that includes 4 skeletons. I used skelton printed DP, and though there are pieces of other skeletons on it, I only have 4 full skeletons. The halloween ribbons are both scraps from my stash. I used stickers from the Apothecary Line by Echo park, stuck on cardstock and cut out to make the jar and bat embellishements. These, as well as the image, are mounted with foam mounting tape for dimension and 3D effect.

My card layout uses the Sketch at Forever Night. I used an image by Simply Betty Stamps, colored with Promarkers.

Relax and Let's Sail Away

Good Morning, and welcome to another challenge at
Daisy's Doodles.

Our theme this fortnight is "Columbus Day/Sail Away! This theme is a fun one, because it is wide open for your interpretaion. Come over and play with us at Daisy's Doodles. for your chance to win some yummy digi's!

My card layout uses the sketch at Sketch N Stash. I'm using the Hot Air Balloon Image found here, in the Daisy Doodles Store. I colored the image with my wonderful Promarkers. The fun flowered and polka dot papers are from my stash. I printed the Image twice and cut out the clouds, added some sparkle with my clearstar gelly roll pen and then attached them with foam mounting tape for dimension and 3D effect. The green panel is embossed with polka dots, using the Cuttlebug.

Stylin With Stew
