Let's Take A Full Moon Flight

Welcome to another Thursday and another challenge at Shelly's Images!  We so appreciate all of you who play along with us! Today we have a new challenge for you.  Our theme is "Show Us Your Shape!"  That's right, we want to see your shaped cards, tags, etc!  Anything, really, as long as its shaped! You have two weeks to play along with us for your chance to win a goodie from the Shelly's Images Store!

My card today is shaped like a scalloped circle.  I wanted to challenge myself to use a sketch with a shaped card, and boy was it it a challenge! I do think I succeeded, though, and am happy with how it turned out!  I used the Sketch at Sketches By Carly.  I used a fun orange and black halloween paper with bats on it.  The ribbons are all from my stash.  I used black gemstones and green glittered ribbon to add sparkle and shine. The flowers are glittered as well.  The leaves beneath the flowers are punched with a punch by martha Stewart, and the bat paper is punched with a 3 1/2" circle punch.  I used the image, Full Moon Flight, by Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers, to create my card.

Have A Holly Jolly Christmas

Hi Folks! I'm back, to tell you about a new challenge at Shelly's Images! Our challenge, this time, is to use the sketch we provided, to create something fabulous.

Remember, our challenges are now on the first and third Thursdays of the month, so that gives you about two weeks to play along!  Plenty of time, now, so there's no excuse not to link up with us for your chance to win!

I went with a Christmas card, again.  I mean, after all, who couldn't use to get ahead on thier Christmas cards, right?!   For my layout, I've used the sketch for our current challenge at Shelly's Images. I used a mix of red, green and white Christmas papers from my stash. My card uses the image, Holly, from Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers. The image is punched with a punch by EK Success, then I fussy cut around it with red cardstock, to create a frame.  I used pearl flourishes, from my stash, to embellish.  My sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.  I used a border punch to create the gorgeous scallops.

Let's Have A Ball For Christmas!

Good Morning. Bloggers!

I have a fun project for you, today, and even have a tutorial for you, too! Yay! How about this cute customized Christmas ornament and instructions how to make it?! I thought this would be the perfect project for this week's tutorial, since we're wrapping up the tail end of our Christmas in July challenge!

My Christmas ornament has a cute digi inside! I  fussy cut the image, Jingle Bells, By Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers, and accented with a clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter and sparkle to the bells and the bow.  I used Red Ribbon from my stash to embellish the ornament hanger.

I think it turned out really cute! This is my first time making one of these, so its a new technique for me! Don't you just love it?! Christmas Nativity

Hello everyone and welcome to a new challenge at Shelly's Images!  This time, we have the oh so popular theme of Christmas in July! And, what better way to get a head start on your Christmas cards, then by playing along?!  It is NEVER too early to start your Christmas cards, trust me!

Daisy Sympathy

Have you heard?! The challenges at Shelly's Images are going biweekly! Whoo Hoo! That means more time for you to play along in each challenge!  Our challenges will now be on the First and Third Thursdays of each month! Picnic Time!

Good morning, everyone!  Welcome to another new challenge this week, at Shelly's Images! Since Fourth Of July is right around the corner, what better theme for this week, than Stars, Stripes and Sparkle! There's lots of ways to use this theme, too - It doesn't have to be for Independence Day! Use the theme anyway you  want - Your imagination can run wild - As long as you include Stars, Stripes and Sparkle on your project! Sound fun?! Now, let's talk about my project.  I've used picnic, by Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers. Glitter and Sparkle has been added to the lemonade glasses with a clearstar gelly roll pen.  The flowers, by Recollections and Prima, are all from my stash, as is the ribbon. Pearls were added for the flower centers.  I used two buttons that were recycled from old clothing tht has been thrown away. My card layout uses sketch (#18), below, at Sketch And Stash

Here we are, folks, with another challenge and featured image, at Shelly's Images! Our theme this time is, "It's all about the blingage," so bust out your bling and show us how you shine!  We can't wait to see what you create!

My project today uses the image set, Butterfly set, by Shelly's Images.  This gorgeous image is colored with Promarkers.  All papers are from my stash, as are the silver buttons and the diamonds/gemstones. Who doesn't love bling, right?! I used red baker's twine in the buttons. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.  My card layout uses the sketch at Alota Rubber Stamps. The red and white striped ribbon is by Stampin Up.

Steppin' Out In High Heels

Good morning!  Hope you're having a Terrifically Thrilling Thursday, because that's what we're having, at Shelly's Images! That means we have a fun challenge for you, today! Our theme is pick 2 (or more)! We give you a list of elements to include on your project, and you pick two to create with! I decided to try out some paper piecing on my card, this time. I've used the image High Heel Shoes, from Shelly's Images. I paper pieced parts of the shoe, and colored the other parts with Promarkers. For my card layout, I used the sketch at Sketch N Stash. My project today is a birthday card - Seemed just perfect for the "Seize the Cupcake" theme! Of course, I'm using today's featured image, Birthday Cake Chef, by Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers. I went with a pink and black color theme, with touches of white, because its one of my favorite color combinations! I love the stripes and polka dots together with the gingham! All papers are from my stash. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. I added a small sparkly rhinestone flourish near the sentiment for a touch of sparkle and bling.

My project today uses today's featured Image, 1 Bunny Trail Lane, from Shelly's Images! I've colored it with Promarkers, in shades of pink and orange, with some touches of green. The center kraft panel is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. I used scraps of orange paper from my stash, to add some layers. The round discs were made with my new Epoxy disc maker by Ephiphany Arts, using pink and white plaid paper.

This card is perfect for Easter and Spring.
