Hihi! I'm back, again, with a new project and a new challenge to tell you about! It's a nice relaxing Sunday, so how about getting out your crafting goodies and creating a fun project to link up with us? We have a new Stella Says Sketch challenge up, today, at Catch The Bug. Sketches are wonderful to help you think outside the box and avoid making the same ole layout on your cards every time.  You have two weeks to play along, too, so why not put your thinking caps on and start creating! There are prizes from Bugaboo Stamps up for grabs, so don;t miss out on your chance to win! Come on over and link up with us!

I used our current Stella Says Sketch as my card layout, of course.  My card uses the image, Beauty,
from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used some paper that has a watgercolor type effect, because I think watercolors are just so beautiful.  The card has three new metallic green gemstones and is finished off with a tiny pink ribbon bow with a pearl center, from my stash.

Let's Have A Ball For Christmas!

Good Morning. Bloggers!

I have a fun project for you, today, and even have a tutorial for you, too! Yay! How about this cute customized Christmas ornament and instructions how to make it?! I thought this would be the perfect project for this week's tutorial, since we're wrapping up the tail end of our Christmas in July challenge!

My Christmas ornament has a cute digi inside! I  fussy cut the image, Jingle Bells, By Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers, and accented with a clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter and sparkle to the bells and the bow.  I used Red Ribbon from my stash to embellish the ornament hanger.

I think it turned out really cute! This is my first time making one of these, so its a new technique for me! Don't you just love it?! I'd love to hear what you think!  Oh, and if you do love it, and want to find out how to make your own, check out my tutorial on how to make this ornament!  You can find it, HERE, at the Shelly's Images Blog!

Remember, you only have till Wednesday afternoon to enter our Christmas In July challenge at Shelly's Images, but there will be a new challenge starting Thursday!

My First Lacy Sunshine Card!

Hello everyone! I'm here, today, to show you my first card using  a Lacy Sunshine digi stamp! Whoo Hoo! Love these stamps! So cute!

Today, I'm using  the digi stamp called Gemma Gumdrop, which is the freebie for participating in this week's challenge.  She is colored with Promarkers.

My card layout uses the sketch at Feeling Sketchy. All papers are from my stash.  Flowers are layers and are by Prima and Recollections. I used the branch punch, from Martha Stewart to punch the greenery.  The blue were used to add sparkle and shine.  I used blue sheer ribbon, tied in a bow, to finish her off.

This is my first time trying shading on the hair, in ages.  What do you think?
