Today. I have a sympathy card for your viewing pleasure. My card uses the image, Rainy Day Bears - Rain Rain, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers used, are scraps from my stash. I cut various different paper scraps into banners, layered behind the image. I've embellished with pearls and flowers. Gemstones have been used as flower centers. A tiny heart charm hangs from baker's twine, to the top left of the image.  The sentiment is punched with circle punches.

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's time for a new challenge, today, at Catch The Bug! This week's challenge is Bingo! One of our favorites, and, hopefully one of yours!  As always, there are are prizes up for grabs, from Bugaboo Stamps, so hurry over to Catch The Bug and link up your bingo creation with us, for your chance to win!

Today, I have a very special card to show you.  This card was made for someone who means the world to me, and is going through something very stressful right now.  Please say a prayer that things will turn out in a positive way. He really needs prayers and positive vibes.

My masculine card uses the image, Puppy Pile, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  All papers used to create this card are from my stash. The paper with the anchors is symbolic of his courage, so it was perfect for this card.  Polka Dots and puppies were used, to lighten up the mood and hopefully bring a smile.  (Who doesn't smile over puppies and polka dots?!) The card layout uses the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I've used denim fabric tags as little banners, for my hand written sentiments. Tiny wooden buttons were used to embellish the top left corner of the card, as well as below the image.

It's Summer - Live, Love, Laugh

Happy Saturday! Are you ready for a new challenge at Catch The Bug? Good because we have one for you, today! This week's theme is... summer! Whoo Hoo! Summer is fast approaching, so this theme is perfect, isn't it? Come over, link up and show us your summer themed creations for your chance to win!

My caruses the image, AKV Love - Bike Ride, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with one of my favorite color combos - Black, White and Red. Don't you just love these colors together? I used red glittery pearls to embellish. In the top left corner, I made a fun banner using twine and washi tape. The sentiment is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

I have another thank you card to show you, today.  This one is made in masculine colors, to make it appropriate for a guy.  The card uses the image, AKV Boy - Flower Pot, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  All papers are from my stash. I used buttons, recycled, from an old shirt, and used twine around them, to frame the center of the card. The twine is tied in a handmade bow.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

I have a birthday card to show you, today, using this week's Freebie Friday image, Cupcake Tower, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. My card layout uses the sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp. This is one of my favorite sketches because it includes a banner and I love them but don;t think to use them as often as I would like. I made a fun banner to hang across the top left corner, using washi tape and twine. I think it makes a great touch! The rest of the card has been embellished with tiny blue pearls that I just got from Santa at Christmas. I even put a pearl in the center of the O in the word YOU of the sentiment! Cute, right?! All papers are from my stash.

This card turned out to be perfect for a guy, too! Cant believe I managed to make another male card, again, already!

It's Almost Thanksgiving

Wow, I can't believe how fast time is moving! Can you believe it's almost Thanksgiving?! I'm ready for that turkey dinner that day, aren't you?!

In honor of Thanksgiving, I have a new card to show you today.  I wet with  fall colors for this cute Thanksgiving/Give Thanks card.  I've used the  freebie newsletter image, Priscilla Pilgrim, from Rick St Dennis.  If you aren't familiar with the work of Rick St Dennis, you really are missing out! He draws awesome digital images! Go check them out in his store! You will be so glad you did!

I've colored the image with Promarkers. All fall colored papers are from my stash. I've used blue card stock for my cad base and matting, to add a touch of color. I've used one of my favorite tools, my crop a dile, to punch four holes in the bottom panel, then inserted a brad in each hole and wrapped orange and white twine around each brad, before securing the brad to the card.  The Twine is threaded through a brown buttons, recycled from old clothing I threw out during a cleaning spree.  Gotta love recycling! The sentiment is by Taylored Expressions and has been hand stamped, then punched with circle punches.

Winter Christmas Wishes

Oh wow, darn internet has been bad, bad, bad here! My apologies to all my followers for being so late in getting my post written! Finally got some internet lasting long enough to save a post! Yay!  Anyway, I have some awesome news!

I have been asked to be a guest designer for C is For Challenge and this is my first GDT project! Yay! So excited!  It's always such an honor and a pleasure to be invited to do a guest designer spot!  Thank you so much, Anna, for giving me this opportunity!

I made this cute Christmas card today, using the image Alannah, from Stamp Art Designs By Kathryne, colored with Promarkers. I used this fun mix of snowflake and plaid paper scraps from my stash.  Two large green buttons, recycled from an old coat, were threaded with Christmas colored baker's twine, and used to embellish the card. I used two pieces of metallic green holly in the upper right corner.

Over The Hill Birthday

Good Morning! Did you all know it's Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Catch The Bug?! We love Oldie But Goodie Thursdays, since it's a chance to show off the older images that Bugaboo Stamps has to offer and remind us all, again, how cute they are! You can check out all the Oldie But Goodie creations from the talented design team at Catch The Bug! Go see all the  creative genius at work!

Today I have a new card to show you.  We all know masculine cards can be tough to make, so I'm always happy when I come up with one that seems to come together fairly quickly. This one just seemed to come to me, easily and I'm really happy with it! Perfect for a male birthday!

My card uses the image and sentiment set, Gus Birthday - Over The Hill, from Bugaboo stamps, colored with Promarkers, (available in the Simon Says Stamp, store!). I used three different gambling theme papers that were all scraps from my stash. The left upper and left lower corners of the card are decorated with a strip of black and white polka dot washi tape. I used three buttons (2 blue and 1 red) threaded with baker's twine to embellish two corners of the image and bring out the colors in the image. Gus has had wiggly eyes added to him, to give that extra touch of whimsy! For my card layout, I've used the sketch at Sketch N Stash.

Sometimes you forget how much you love an image, until you see it, again! The DT has done a wonderful job today, with showing off some of Bugaboo Stamps' oldies but goodies! Today's project for your viewing pleasure is a masculine card - I went with a birthday theme this time. Seems like a lot of the fellas I know have birthdays in the summer! My card uses the image and sentiment set, Gus Birthday - Collecting Wrinkles, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The card is done in black, green and blue. I used three different patterns of black printed washi tape, vertically, down the enter panel. Googly eyes were added to Gus to make him look extra cute! I've used three buttons, threaded with Baker's Twine,  in the bottom left corner of the image, as well as four green pearls to embellish each corner. My card layout uses the Sketch at Alota Rubber Stamps.

I have another birthday card to show you, today. This time, we have a male card.  Male cards can be so hard to do, sometimes, but I think this one turned out really cute.  What guy wouldn't love to get this?!  My card features the image and sentiment Gus Birthday - Optional, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. A mix of patterns was used - Plaid, Chevron and polka dots. (Yes, guys can have polka dots - At least on cards!) Several punches were used on the sentiments.  The buttons are recycled from an old shirt that was thrown away.  They're threaded with green and white Baker's Twine.  A tiny little bow was added, tied from thin white ribbon. The happy birthday is by Sentiments 4 You.

My card today uses the current sketch for our Stella Says Sketch Challenge and features the image, Hoppy Occasions - Groom, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. A Martha Stewart border punch was used to create the scalloped border. The papers are all from my paper stash.  The sentiment is by Sentiments  4 You and punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. A brand new chevron patterned button, threaded with baker's twine has been used for embellishing.  This turns out to be a nice masculine card.

What A Cute Little Dragon!

Hi There! Are you excited yet? It's new release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps! Whoo Hoo! My card, today, features today's new release, Cute Dragon, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.
All papers are new to me, from a new tablet by Recollections. I just love these papers and colors together.  The border is punched with a border punch by Martha Stewart. I punched the flower with a flower punch by Recollections and used a recycled button threaded with twine, as the flower center. The sentiment is punched with the word window punch and matted with the modern label punch, by Stampin Up.  My card layout follows the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy.

Turned out to be a really cute "Just Because" card.

Have A Masculine Birthday

The birthday celebration continues on with challenges every day this week at Catch The Bug! Whoo Hoo! I've created a masculine birthday card using the image Scene It - Monster Birthday, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I always go with clean and simple for masculine cards, usually, unless its for someone really special. The buttons are recycled from old clothing I threw out.  I used twine in them to add that extra touch.  The papers are all from my stash.

My card, today, features the image, Morning Margaret - Cornflakes, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with a masculine card in shades of brown and blue. I used two brown buttons threaded with brown and white baker's twine.  The scalloped border was punched with a Fiskars border punch.

Flowers For You

Oldie But Goodie Thursday is here, again, at Catch The Bug! We've brought you some awesome creations, today, to spark your creativity and get that mojo rockin.  Of course, this means today is the day we use some of the older, but oh so fabulous images from Bugaboo Stamps for our creations.  Hopefully they'll provide you some inspiration and maybe you'll even see an image used, today, that you just have to have! Come and see what we've created, at Catch The Bug! You'll be glad you did!

My card, today, uses the image For You Flower, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with a monochromatic color scheme.  This image seemed perfect and overall I think it came out beautiful! For my card layout, I've used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. The papers are both from my stash. The lighter paper is actually pale pink, embossed with a flower pattern.  (It is a bit difficult to tell, in the pic due to the sheen of the paper). I chose pearls and speckled metal brads for my embellishments, with a few strands of pink and white twine. I didn't feel an additional sentiment was needed, since there's a sentiment on the images.
