An Easel Note Pad and Pen Holder For Mom

Good Morning! It's ABC Monday at Catch The Bug - That's right! Anything But A Card? Are you ready to see a fabulous group of projects - Anything But A Card? I hope so, because you will love what we have to show you today! Stop over at Catch The Bug and check them out! You're sure to be inspired!

I made this cute Note Pad and Pen Holder, as a Mother's Day Gift. I love that it is made totally from Carsdstock and patterned paper! So cute! The note pad holder is actually an easel that stands up, much like an easel card. You can see the easel fold in the side view pic, below.

This note pad and pen holder is now one of my favorite fancy fold projects!

I am Using the image, Spring Boot, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with  both Promarkers and Copics. All patterned papers are from my stash (Thanks to the Hot Buys at Michael's)! On the front of the Note Pad Pocket, I've used a scalloped oval border punch, to punch a border in black and white patterned paper, placed across the center.  I then trimmed the top of the scalloped paper with a strip of sheer red and white polka dot ribbon.  I actually made a handmade bow, too, but accidentally threw it away when I cleaned up my paper scraps - And the bow was made with my LAST piece of that ribbon! Don't you hate it when that happens! Grr!

It's A Christmas In July ABC

Well hello there! Are you enjoying the Christmas In July festivities this week, at Catch The Bug?! The Design Team sure is having fun! We hope you are, too! Hopefully you've been playing along in our daily challenges, too!

Today, our challenge theme, today, is to use a particular color scheme, for your project. You can see the color scheme today, over in today's challenge post, at Catch The Bug - But, basically, the colors are shades of green, purples and pinks.

Today is normally ABC day at Catch The Bug - so Its my assigned day to do an ABC - Anything But A Card.  I chose to do this fun Christmas Ornament. I used a miniataure train track from Mayberry Street Miniatures, painted it with Silks Acrylic Metallic Green paint and used lavender ribbon to hang it. Then, I attached this fun image, Christmas Kids - Boy 2, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I thought it was pretty creative! What do you think about it?!

I made this cute little treat container, in fall colors.  Originally, this little glass jar came filled with paper flowers.  I saved the jar and recycled it to make this cute treat container! Cute, isn't it?! All papers used are from my stash. I've used the image Scarecrow - Pumpkin String from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with promarkers. I printed the image twice, fussy cutting the first one, to attach to the front of the jar, with foam mounting tape.  The second image, I punched with a circle punch and matted with a scalloped circle, to decorate the lid.  This makes a great gift idea and who doesn't love candy, right?!

Dare To Be Different

Well hello there!

Welcome back to my blog!  Are you ready to hear all about what's in store for you, today?! Today, I'm here to tell you about  ABC Monday - That's Anything But A Card, at Catch The Bug! You really need to go check out the fabulous ABC ideas the rest of the team has come up with! Hurry! What are you waiting on?!

For my ABC on this fine Monday, I've created this cute zebra ATC. (Artist Trading Card)  These are so much fun to collect and trade with other ATC fans.  If you've nevfer gotten into ATC,s you really should try them! it is amazing how mch you can squeeze into one little ATC! Give it a try!

For my project, today, I have used the image, zebra, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  The background is an animal print card base, from my stash. I used pink and black zebra print washi tape, paired with two little white flowers that hae black polka dots and black pearl centers. The bottom left corner is embellished with pink and black zebra print gems.   A truly zebra-rific cration, don;t you think?!

Friends Are The Chocolate Chips

It's challenge time, again, folks! We have a new one for you today at Catch The Bug! Today I have this cute ATC to show you.  I've used the image Kidz - Cookie and the cookie friend sentiment, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers, (available in the Simon Says Stamp Store!) The cookie background paper is from my stash. I used a brown handmade bow and buttons, for embellishing. The buttons are threaded with brown and white baker's twin.

Bling, Bling, Baby!

Hello again! Hope you are all having a wonderful day! Did you stop by, today, to hear all about today's new Saturday challenge at Catch The Bug? I hope you did!

Today's Saturday challenge at Catch The Bug is a fun one - A Photo Inspiration challenge. I sure hope you'll be inspired to play along with us - There are awesome prizes up for grabs, from Bugaboo Stamps! Come play with us!

To inspire you to play along with us in our Photo Inspiration challenge, I made this cute ATC (Artist Trading Card) to show you. I used the colors from the photo, from our photo inspiration challenge.  This ATC was made, actually, to swap with other ATC swappers, at Stampaway 2013.

My ATC uses the image Stella Red hat - Bling, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used paper flowers with gemstone centers, by The Paper studio. A real feather was used for the feather on her hat.  I finished off by blinging her up - By adding tiny gemstones to the image for her jewley - earrings, belt bauble and on the base of the feather in her hat. A clearstar gelly roll pen was used to add dsparkle to her ring and bracelets.

Good Morning, everyone! Welcome to Oldie But A Goodie Thursday, for Bugaboo Stamps. Don;t you just love seeing the DT bring some of the older images back into the spotlight? You do?! Well, great then head over to Catch The Bug to see lots more than just mine!

I have an ATC to show to you, today.  If you are not familiar with them, they are Artist Trading Cards (ATC's). 3 x 5 cards that you decorate with any media, like you would a card.  This one was made to trade at Stampaway in Cincinnati.

My ATC uses the image and sentment set, Cute Bee - Flower, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. THe wings on teh image have been glittered with a clearstar gelly roll pen.  I used green gemstones, new to my stash, to embellish.  The flower center is done with Flower Soft.

First Ever ATC

We're here with another challenge today, folks! I hope you're happy to have us back from out break and are ready to play along with us!

This week's challenge is a Bingo Challenge. Want to play along? Check out Catch The Bug for our current bingo board, then start creating some awesome projects to link up with us!

Today, I'm showing you my first ever ATC.  I created this cute 3 x 5 card (several of them, actually) tyo trade at Stampaway Cincinnati, this month.  Of course, I wanted to promote Bugaboo Stamps, too!

For my bingo, I've used a Bugaboo Image, Sewing, and Pearl/gemstones.

My ATC uses the image Flowerpot 1, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The sentiment is computer generated. I used a white opaque pen by Signo, to add faux stitching around the edges.  The upper right corner has been embellished with two blue gemstones.

Spell It Out In Animal Print

Good Morning! Hope all of my followers are having a great weekend so far!

Today, I have another fun project for you.  I've used wooden letters from Walmart and covered them with animal print scrapbook paper.  The letters were then covered with Modge Podge and sprayed with a spray sealer.  Didn't they turn out cute? These were made for a baby shower gift, to hang on the wall in the baby's room.

It's A Framed Baby Animal Safari

Good Morning! I have a new project to show you.  This time, I thought you'd like to see something besides a card.  How about these two framed baby animal sffari collages?  So cute, aren't they? These were made musing pieces of scrapbook papers and cardstock, then framed.  A few ribbon bows were added for decoration.  A few pearls were used in the collage in pic two, to make what looks like an animal paw print. Glitter and sparkle were added to some of the animals with a clearstar gelly roll pen.  I used small paw print stickers around the outside of the frames, to add that final touch.  These cute frames were made as a baby shower gift for a baby boy. The nursery is decorated in animal safari theme. Wont these be just adorable hanging on the wall in his room!

Today I did a card shaped like a tag for you, since that is today's Christmas in July challenge.  My tag uses the image AKV Christmas - Girl tree, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash.  I used green pearls to embellish. The sentiment, punched with oval and scalloped oval punches, is from Sentiment 4 You.  Of course, I had to add some pretty metallic red and silver ribbon, to add some sparkle and shine.

Silly Monkey ABC

Hi all! Are you ready to see some ABC projects?! ABC, meaning Anything But A Card.  It's ABC Monday at Catch The Bug and today is my turn to show you some ABC love! Today, I have this adorable altered drink cup to show you. Perfect for the child in your life, or for a gift.  People seem to love these!

Of course, I used the image, Monkey Love - Single Rose, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.
All papers are from my stash. Don't you just love the fun mix of papers?!  If you look closely, you can see that I used a sticker that says Silly Monkey, right below the monkey image. Is this too cute, or what? This is perfect for the boy in your life or someone who loves monkeys.

Happy Saturday, everyone! Welcome to a new challenge at Catch The Bug! Are you ready to play along with us? How about playing with pastels this week? That's right, our challenge this week is to make a project using pastel colors. Easy, right? Remember, the prizes are prize packs of digi images from Bugaboo Stamps. For my project, today, I made this cutie patootie altered drink cup in monochromatic pastel pink.  I've used the image Pig - Flower, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The polka dot and chevron papers are from my stash. It's difficult to see in the pic, but I used nesting flower punches by Recollections to make little paper flowers to add all around the cup.  I think it came out really cute!

An ABC Love

Are you feeling the love? Well, you will, today, with this ABC I have to show you! Because, today is ABC Monday at Bugaboo Stamps!  This is where we show you Anything But A Card!  Today, I am featuring this cute water globe I made!  Want to see more ABC inspiration? Check out Catch The Bug and see what else there is to look at!

To make this water globe, I used the image Valentine Jar, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The image was printed twice, cut into dome shapes and placed inside the water globe.  Then fill with glitter and water. Super easy! (Yes I realize I got a little water on the image because I didn't have a small enough funnel to put the water in with so I tried to do it by letting a  tiny stream drip into the hole!)  That's okay, the recipient will still love it!
This water globe is inspired by the Movie, P.S. I Love You.

Let's See A Birthday ABC!

Welcome back to day three of our birthday celebration week at Catch The Bug, where we're celebrating the 3rd birthday of  Bugaboo Stamps.  Today is Anything but a card day, and our theme for today is to use Black and White, with only a pop of color! So it's my turn to make something for your creative inspiration, besides a card, using the color theme.  We have a mix of cards, and other goodies to show you, compliments of the DT, so head over to check them out and play along in today's black and white with a pop of color challenge, at Catch The Bug

Today, I made a set of coasters for you, using ceramic tiles.  These make a great gift for friends and family and they seem to love them.  For this set, I have used the image and sentiment set, Gus Birthday - Over The Hill, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The black and white striped paper is from my stash.  These coasters were made using multiple layers of Modge Podge on tiles and sprayed with Sealer.  I cut cork to put on the back of them, and attached it with E6000.

ABC - Let It Snow, Let it Snow

Hello everyone! And a big Merry Christmas to all of you! Hope you are having a wonderful holiday so far, and managing to keep warm.  Today is ABC Monday at Catch The Bug! That means, we feature projects that are Anything BUT A card.  It's always fun to see the different things you can do with stamped or digital images, besides making cards.

Today, I have this adorable glass ornament to show you.  Isn't it a cutie?! The image inside the ornament is Snowman Skates, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The image has been fussy cut out and then inserted into the glass ornament.  Blue sheer ribbon is tied around the neck of the ornament. White, glow in the dark, and blue glitter have been placed inside the ornament, behind and in front of the image.  (Yes, you read that right- I said glow in the dark glitter - If You haven't ever used the stuff, you should try it! It is SO cool!) I made this ornament as a gift, so the recipient is going to be surprised when the snow glows in the dark, don't you think?

ABC - Nuts About Nursing

Hi all!  My apologies for the lateness in getting my post written.  I am having major computer issues and am without a computer for the time being.  I just remembered this morning that I hadn't written this morning;s post, so had to run over to a friends just to get it done!

Anyway, today is ABC monday at Catch The Bug and its my turn to show you an ABC (Anything Bbut A Card) project.  Today I have for you this cute necklace/pendant.  I used the image Nursing Nut, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with promarkers, to make the pendant.  The pendant is hanging on a black leather  cord with silver clasps.   These are easy to make and a great gift idea!  Won't you consider making some for those family and friends on your Christmas list?
