An Easel Note Pad and Pen Holder For Mom

Good Morning! It's ABC Monday at Catch The Bug - That's right! Anything But A Card? Are you ready to see a fabulous group of projects - Anything But A Card? I hope so, because you will love what we have to show you today! Stop over at Catch The Bug and check them out! You're sure to be inspired!

I made this cute Note Pad and Pen Holder, as a Mother's Day Gift. I love that it is made totally from Carsdstock and patterned paper! So cute! The note pad holder is actually an easel that stands up, much like an easel card. You can see the easel fold in the side view pic, below.

This note pad and pen holder is now one of my favorite fancy fold projects!

I am Using the image, Spring Boot, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with  both Promarkers and Copics. All patterned papers are from my stash (Thanks to the Hot Buys at Michael's)! On the front of the Note Pad Pocket, I've used a scalloped oval border punch, to punch a border in black and white patterned paper, placed across the center.  I then trimmed the top of the scalloped paper with a strip of sheer red and white polka dot ribbon.  I actually made a handmade bow, too, but accidentally threw it away when I cleaned up my paper scraps - And the bow was made with my LAST piece of that ribbon! Don't you hate it when that happens! Grr!

Cindy Boo Cupcake Shows Off in Pink and Grey

My card uses the image Cindy Boo's Cupcake, from Lacy Sunshine Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with one of my favorite color combos - Pink and gray. I just love these two colors together, don't you?! I used only scraps of patterned papers from my stash. Alongside each side of the center panel, I used pale pink ribbon with gold thread running through it, as well as a handmade bow in the bottom left corner of the image, using the same pretty ribbon. I used some textured gemstones from Hobby Lobby, in sets of 3, at the top, left and right of the image. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

To stay with the girlie theme, I've added layers of flowers with pearl centers, as well as a trio of pearls in the bottom left corner. For my ABC project, I came up with this cute cupcake topper.  My cupcake topper features this adorable owl image from the Mini Set - Love Circle Sentiments - 10, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The image is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches, then hot glued to a toothpick and stuck down inside the cupcake. Easy peasy cupcake topper, and so cute! You can do these to make your next batch of cupcakes extra personal and just the right theme to fit your next party!

Violet Flower Pot Pretty

This is my entry for the contest.  Even though I am part of the Lacy Sunshine Design Team, Heather is allowing he DT to play along, too and there are separate prizes for DT Members. This way, we all have a chance to win, if we play along! Yay!

My card uses the image - Violet Flower Pot Pretty, by Lacy Sunshine, colored with Promarkers. I went with shades of purple, being that the image is named for Lilacs. All papers are from my stash. I just love the fun mix of patterns on this card - I think they are perfect with the layout I chose. I used a border punch by Martha Stewart to punch the border across the bottom of the card. The violet flower is by Recollections. I used the Martha Stewart branch punch, to punch the greenery around the flower and used a purple gemstone as the flower center. The same purple gemstones were used in a cluster of three, near the top right corner of the image. My sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with a scalloped circle punch by The Paper Studio.

Another Year Has Come To Pass....

Let's Get Sketchy For Bugaboo's Fourth Birthday

Phew! How are you liking the Birthday Week festivities at Catch The Bug this week? Are you having fun helping us celebrate the 4th birthday of Bugaboo Stamps? I hope so, because we have lots more fun planned for you, this week!

My card, today, uses the image, Bubbles Birthday - Ice Cream from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers used are from my stash. I used a circle punch and a scalloped circle punch, to pucn out the image and the sentiment. Black pearls were used to embellish the top left corner of the card. I used some brand new light blue ruffled lace/trim across the bottom of the card.  This card has great colors and I love the way it turned out!

I have a cute new baby card to show you, using this new release Monkey image, from Bugaboo Stamps. Isn't this just the cutest little monkey girl, sitting on that big banana?! The image is colored with Promarkers. I used a fun sketch that just seemed to fall out of my head onto the paper. I went with a monochromatic theme, but, of course, had to make the banana yellow.  After all, who's ever heard of a pink banana?! I used my new pink gemstones to embellish two corners of the image and three corners on the white patterned paper panel. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 you and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches. All papers are from my stash.

Chic Sparkly Christmas

Good Morning!

I have a cute card for you, today! Another Christmas card! Can you tell I am getting into the Christmas spirit?! I hope you are, too, because Christmas will be here before you know it! If you haven't started your Christmas cards, yet, you better get busy!

For today's card, I am using the October freebie from KennyK Downloads - This cute snowman, colored with Promarkers. All my papers are glittered, to add sparkle, and are scraps from my stash.  I also added glitter to the snowman, as well ad embellishing with two shiny sparkly snowflakes, and a snowflake button.  The bottom panel has three recycled buttons, threaded with baker's twine. My sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches. I put some wiggly eyes on the snowman and tiny black pearls down the front, for his buttons.

Say Thank you, Ladybug

It's Oldie But Goodie Thursday, today, at Catch The Bug. I hope you're ready to see the design team rock some of those older images back into the limelight, because that's just what we've done! We've really done ourselves proud, this time, so come over and check out all the fabulous creations!

I decided to make a thank you card, today. My card features the image Flower Ladybug, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I've used three different papers in a color combo of purples and blues. All papers are scraps from from my stash.  (Gotta love using scraps!) I used a piece of purple ribbon with a metallic gold thread across the card and tied into a handmade bow.  (THe last of that ribbon! Boo!) Above the bow, I've used three tiny blue pearls. The sentiment was punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Clownin' Around With A Pogo

Whoo Hoo! Are you ready?! It's New Release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps! We have this adorabkle clown release for you, today.  He's perfect for a birthday card, isn't he?!

My  card today, a birthday card, features the image Clown Around - Pogo, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. My card layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I went with a fun mix of papers and created a monochromatic background. All papers are from my stash.  I used purple gemstones and a purple polka dotted handmade bow, to embellish. The sentiment is by Sentiment 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Today I did a card shaped like a tag for you, since that is today's Christmas in July challenge.  My tag uses the image AKV Christmas - Girl tree, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash.  I used green pearls to embellish. The sentiment, punched with oval and scalloped oval punches, is from Sentiment 4 You.  Of course, I had to add some pretty metallic red and silver ribbon, to add some sparkle and shine.

Let's Play Birthday Bingo

We continue our birthday celebration this week, as we introduce you to today's Tuesday New Release! Today's new release, of course, just has to follow our birthday theme!  Check out Birthday Envelope, today's new release from Bugaboo Stamps.  Adorable, isn't she?

Oh, and of course, we have a new challenge for you, today, to continue our birthday week celebration. Today's challenge theme to create a project using three in a row from our Tic Tac Toe board.  More fun and prizes up for grabs, so be sure you come over to Catch The Bug and play with us!

My card uses the new release image, birthday envelope, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  For my bingo, I chose to use the color pink, bling and a Bugaboo Stamps image. For my bling, I chose to use pink gemstone pearls.  The pink panel on my card is embossed with a crocodile skin texture. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Now, let me tell you about my project for today.  I went for the monochrome look. The cardstock is a gorgeous purple shimmer cardstock, new to my stash.  I used the image Roses Block, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The papers, Digi papers - polka dot flowers, are also from Bugaboo Stamps. I used three small purple buttons that I recycled from an old shirt I threw away, to embellish my card.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You, and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Hi! Welcome to our new challenge at Catch The Bug!  it's our biweekly Stella Says Sketch challenge! Whoo Hoo! Are you ready to play along with us? I hope so because there are some fabulous digi prizes up for grabs, if you win?

My card, today, features the image, Morning Margaret - Cornflakes, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with a masculine card in shades of brown and blue. I used two brown buttons threaded with brown and white baker's twine.  The scalloped border was punched with a Fiskars border punch.
