Cindy Boo Cupcake Shows Off in Pink and Grey

It's time for a new challenge, again, at Lacy Sunshine! Are you ready?! We have a fun one for you this fortnight - We want to see you create a project using one of your favorite color combos! My card uses the image Cindy Boo's Cupcake, from Lacy Sunshine Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with one of my favorite color combos - Pink and gray. I just love these two colors together, don't you?! I used only scraps of patterned papers from my stash. Alongside each side of the center panel, I used pale pink ribbon with gold thread running through it, as well as a handmade bow in the bottom left corner of the image, using the same pretty ribbon. I used some textured gemstones from Hobby Lobby, in sets of 3, at the top, left and right of the image. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

Clownin' Around With Colors

Welcome to another Saturday challenge at Catch The Bug! This week, we have a Color Challenge for you?! Think you can handle that?! If so, then come on over to Catch The Bug to check out the color theme photo so you can create a project and play along with us. We have lots of prizes up for grabs, so come play along for your chance to win!

My card uses the image Lil Clown 4, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. Of course, I followed the color scheme in this week's color challenge. This card is perfect for a little boy's birthday. I used all scraps to create this card and think I did a pretty darn good job if I do say so, myself! LOL! The centers of the small squares are punches with the postage stamp punch from EK Success. I used some blue buttons, recycled from an old shirt that had been thrown away, and placed those in the center of the small squares. I used googly eyes on the clown. Isn't he cute?!

Here's Looking At You

Wow, can you believe Thanksgiving has come and gone?! Did you eat a monstrous amount of food for the holiday?! Phew! I didn't eat much, but I sure cooked my butt off! It's so much fun to do, but so tiring, isn't it? Oh, and cleaning up the mess! NOT a part of it that I like! LOL

My project today features the image, Monster 1, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. For my card layout, I used the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. All papers are scraps from my scrap bin. The bling is some new sparkly gemstones I ordered online. Cute, aren't they? And such fun colors! The ribbon is a scrap from my ribbon scrap drawer.

This was meant to be a masculine card. The monster reminds me of the character from the movie, Where The Wild Things Are. I love that movie! So cute!

Live, Love, Laugh And Get Sketchy

My card today uses the image Beautiful Blocks - Live Love Laugh,by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I just love circles and polka dots so they were the perfect papers for my card. I used two scraps of ribbon from my stash, as well as some flower shaped buttons that have bling centers. The oval is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. Gotta love this pink and black color combo - One of my favorites!

Of course, my card layout uses the sketch from our current Stella Says Sketch challenge.

It's Time For Back To School

Wow, can you beleive how fast the summer is flying by?! Here we are, already, with Back To School time! I'm sure the kids out there aren't really ready for it, but I know most of the moms are! LOL

Today, we start a new challenge at Catch The Bug! The theme is a photo inspiration, and of course, what better type of photo to take inspiration from right now, than a back to school photo! Remember, there are prizes to be won, from Bugaboo Stamps, for playing along, so be sure you head over to Catch The Bug to see the inspiration photo and link up your creation!

My card today uses the image AKV School - Kids, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used a piece of die cut paper at the top to create a border. Oh, and you have to love this fun mix of school themed papers! I went with a clean simple card with minimal embellishments. I used a scrap of ribbon and a red button recycled from old clothing. For my card layout, I used sketch #58 at Sketches By Carly.

Butterflies In Spring For Freebie Friday

All papers are scraps from my stash. I used a chipboard Spring Die cut and some other chipboard pieces, for embellishments. I admit, I don't use chipboard very often and I have to say - I'm not sure I like it nor am I overly impressed with it. LOL Oh well, live and learn, right?

Heeeeeeeeere's Johnny!

Good Morning, good morning! It's new release day at Bugaboo Stamps! Are you excited, yet?! Look at this fabulous new fella Jodie has added to her fabulous collection of digi images. This is Johnny. Isn't he totally cool?! He's part of today's new release! You know you want to have him for your very own!

I just wanted to mention, before I go on, that Jodie, the artist, for Bugaboo Stamps, is currently having internet issues due to weather conditions, so she may be late getting these new little fellas added to the store. If you want him and he isnt in the store when you get there, please keep checking back. He will be in the store and available for purchase as soon as she's able to get online long enough to add him in.

My card layout uses the Sketch at The Pixie Cottage. The image is new release, Johnny, by Bugaboo Stamps. He's colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash. The round discs match the papers and are made with my new tool by Epiphany Arts. (Absolutely LOVE that new tool!) The ribbon is also from my stash.

This turned out to be the perfect male card, especially for teen boys.

Hoot Hoot Hurray!

Today is a special day for Craft Your Passion, folks! Today marks their 100th challenge! Wow! Can you beleive it?! Time sure has flown by! It's hard to beleive it, isn't it?! I remember fondly, the time I served on the DT at Craft Your Passion. I started as a guest designer back when Lauretta and Corrine ran the challenge blog, and ended up staying on. The time eventually came for me to move on, and the blog is now ran by the wonderful Jenn Jackson, who's doing a bang up job! *Applause* From time to time, Jenn invites me back as a guest for special events, and of course, I'm always happy to participate! This is no exception! I'm honored, as always to be be asked. This is a special time for Craft Your Passion and a real cause for celebration!

Here Comes Theodore

Welcome to another Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps. How about a cute little bear for you to play with today?! Meet Theodore. A real cutie, he is! Ohhhh and so snuggly too! My card layout uses the sketch at Incy Wincy. The image is Theodore, from Bugaboo Stamps. This little fella is colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash. The ladybug button is recycled from a little girls hair bow that was torn and had to be thrown away. I saved it for crafting purposes and cut the button shank off it to make it lay flat.

You're In My Thoughts And Prayers

Good morning! Welcome to another challenge at Catch The Bug! We have a fun new challenge for you, today! This one is a sketch challenge! And an easy, simple sketch it is! Stop by Catch The Bug, today, to check out all the sketchy inspiration! We'd love it if you'd play along with us, too, while you're there! You might even be one of our lucky winners of images from Bugaboo Stamps!

My project, today, uses the sketch for this week's challenge. I've used the image, Beautiful Blocks - Thoughts and Prayers by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The papers are scraps from my stash and are by Stampin Up. The pearl flourises are by Prima. I used vanilla cardstock embossed with pinstripes for my card base and for matting.

My computer is currently down and so I am using a phone to do my post. I'm working on getting my new one up and fully running. I will be back, later, to enter this card in challenges.

I used this Sassy Galz image from Bugaboo Stamps for my creation, today. She's colored with Promarkers. All papers are scraps from my stash. The dew drop pearls were hand dyed by me, using alcohol inks. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle punches.
