It's Time For Back To School

Wow, can you beleive how fast the summer is flying by?! Here we are, already, with Back To School time! I'm sure the kids out there aren't really ready for it, but I know most of the moms are! LOL

Today, we start a new challenge at Catch The Bug! The theme is a photo inspiration, and of course, what better type of photo to take inspiration from right now, than a back to school photo!  Remember, there are prizes to be won, from Bugaboo Stamps, for playing along, so be sure you head over to Catch The Bug to see the inspiration photo and link up your creation!

My card today uses the image AKV School - Kids, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used a piece of die cut paper at the top to create a border.  Oh, and you have to love this fun mix of school themed papers! I went with a clean simple card with minimal embellishments. I used a scrap of ribbon and a red button recycled from old clothing.  For my card layout, I used sketch #58 at Sketches By Carly.

Today, 'Ive created another masculine card, since its always the kind of card I need to have in my stash - I never know when I will need one.  I'm using the image, Crabby Cat - Talk To The Paw, from Bugaboo Stamps. The papers are all from my stash.  Crabby Cat has been colored with Promarkers.  The buttons are recycled from old clothing, and then tied with bows of baker's twine.  My sentiment is from Bugaboo, also, and punched with oval and scalloped oval punches
