Woot! I am here, today, with some awesome news! I've been accepted as part of the design team for Crafts Galore Encore! I've been out of the design team world, for awhile, due to having been taking care of my husband for the past several months.  I'm thrilled to be back, though, and so happy to have been accepted into a team that is super nice! Thank you, Crafts Galore Encore, for allowing me to join you!

Now that's out of the way, let's talk about my card!

For my card today, I've used the Marigolds and Morpho Digi set, from Fred She Said. Even though they're Marigolds, I went with colors that tickled my fancy, when coloring.  The images were colored with Promarkers. The "wild"  black and white paper is from my stash. I think it makes for a "wildly striking effect, with this image and colors I chose. I fussy cute all the images and I just love the way they turned out.  The butterflies were attached with foam tape, for added dimension.  I chose a beautiful silver and black ribbon to make a handmade bow, for embellishing the top of the frame.  Black pearls were added in the top left corner. It's difficult to see in the phot, but I used a clear star gelly roll pen to add glitter and sparkle to the center butterfly.

You'll Come Out On Top

Happy Saturday, everyone! It's time for a new challenge, today, at Catch The Bug! This week's challenge is Bingo! One of our favorites, and, hopefully one of yours!  As always, there are are prizes up for grabs, from Bugaboo Stamps, so hurry over to Catch The Bug and link up your bingo creation with us, for your chance to win!

Today, I have a very special card to show you.  This card was made for someone who means the world to me, and is going through something very stressful right now.  Please say a prayer that things will turn out in a positive way. He really needs prayers and positive vibes.

My masculine card uses the image, Puppy Pile, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  All papers used to create this card are from my stash. The paper with the anchors is symbolic of his courage, so it was perfect for this card.  Polka Dots and puppies were used, to lighten up the mood and hopefully bring a smile.  (Who doesn't smile over puppies and polka dots?!) The card layout uses the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I've used denim fabric tags as little banners, for my hand written sentiments. Tiny wooden buttons were used to embellish the top left corner of the card, as well as below the image.

Easel Mother's Day

Good Morning Bloggers!

Happy Mother's Day to all those mom's out there and to all those moms who are no longer with us!

I'm back with another challenge and another card for you, today!  Today starts a new  challenge over at Catch The Bug!  Today's challenge is Anything Goes, so you can enter anything you've created! . What did you create for your mom for Mother's Day? We'd love to see it! We'd love to see anything and everything you've created! Remember, anything goes! My mother is no longer with me, but it is still a day to remember her.  Today's card is a Mother's Day card.  My card uses the image, Heel Accessories, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I just love easel cards! It's considered a fancy fold card, but is so easy to make!  This one is exceptionally easy, as its all one piece of cardstock, with multiple score lines.  This card folds flat and is easily mailed, so no special envelope is needed.  I have kept this card simple. I've only used pearls and ribbon, to embellish.  The pink ribbon is tied into a handmade bow. The sentiment is Hand Stamped and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches, by Stampin Up.

Respect The Chickens

WoooHoo I am back in blogland! Did you miss me?!  I've been on a break from blogging and crafting, due to health issues, but am happy to finally be back!  A big thank you to Jodie, the artist, all the admin staff and my fellow DT members at Bugaboo Stamps for allowing me this break from DT duties, to take care of my health.  Bugaboo Stamps and Catch The Bug are the best ever!

My first project, now that I'm back, is for Humor Me Wednesday at Catch The Bug. Humor Me Wednesday is the day of the week when we celebrate some of the nation's funniest humorous holidays! Today, I am celebrating International Respect For Chickens Day, which happens this week! Yes, yes, I know - this is an Easter card and Easter is already behind us. I just couldn't resist using this retired chicken image, though, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers! Isn't he adorable?! Unfortunately, he is no longer available, but there are others much like him, available in the shop at Bugaboo Stamps!

I went with springy pastel colors for my card, which are perfect for Easter! I've used two glittery flower buttons above the image, to add some sparkle. The image is colored with Promarkers. I used some Easter egg printed ribbon from my stash, across the center of the card, and yellow ribbon, tied in a handmade bow, below the printed ribbon. The sentiment is punched with the word window punch from Stampin Up.

An Easel Note Pad and Pen Holder For Mom

Good Morning! It's ABC Monday at Catch The Bug - That's right! Anything But A Card? Are you ready to see a fabulous group of projects - Anything But A Card? I hope so, because you will love what we have to show you today! Stop over at Catch The Bug and check them out! You're sure to be inspired!

I made this cute Note Pad and Pen Holder, as a Mother's Day Gift. I love that it is made totally from Carsdstock and patterned paper! So cute! The note pad holder is actually an easel that stands up, much like an easel card. You can see the easel fold in the side view pic, below.

This note pad and pen holder is now one of my favorite fancy fold projects!

I am Using the image, Spring Boot, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with  both Promarkers and Copics. All patterned papers are from my stash (Thanks to the Hot Buys at Michael's)! On the front of the Note Pad Pocket, I've used a scalloped oval border punch, to punch a border in black and white patterned paper, placed across the center.  I then trimmed the top of the scalloped paper with a strip of sheer red and white polka dot ribbon.  I actually made a handmade bow, too, but accidentally threw it away when I cleaned up my paper scraps - And the bow was made with my LAST piece of that ribbon! Don't you hate it when that happens! Grr!

Wish Upon A Star Little Snowman

Happy Thursday! Thanks for stopping by, today, and celebrating Oldie But Goodie Thursday with us at Catch The Bug! We love bringing back those older images into the spotlight and you're going to love all the creativity we have to show you! My card uses the image Lil Snowman Star, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  All papers are from my stash. Don;t you just love the glittery papers?! I used Christmas tree buttons, recycled from an old Christmas shirt, and threaded with baker's twine, to embellish. The sentiment is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches. I used liquid pearls to make circle shapes in the corners of the image and beside the sentiment.

Today. I am here with a second post about our Christmas Color Challenge at Catch The Bug. Even though it was my day to do an ABC, I wanted to do a card as well.

My Christmas card uses the image, Ruby Christmas - Present Stack, from Bugaboo Stamps,
colored with Promarkers. I used the following sketch, Sketch N Stash Sketch #18, as my card layout.

I used round buttons and snowflake shaped buttons to embellish the card. The upper corner is decorated with a pink handmade bow. I used a sentiment by Sentiments 4 You, punched with oval punches.

A Flowery Mother's Day

Welcome to another Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Catch The Bug, where we bring those older, oh so wonderful Bugaboo Stamps images, back into the spotlight, for your viewing pleasure! Since Mother's Day is this weekend, I just had to go with another Mother's Day card.  Of course, I no longer have my mother with me, except in memories, but this card is in tribute to her. I love you, mom! I wanted to do a fancy fold, so I went with my old favorite, an easel card. My card uses the image oval roses, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The glittered paper is a scrap from my stash. I used gemstones to embellish. The sheer maroon ribbon, also from my stash, is tied into a handmade bow. the sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Snow Us Your Favorite Holiday Treat

Welcome to Holiday Chaos Day # 5 at Catch The Bug! I hope you have been playing along with us, every day! You haven't?! Oh not, well, then get busy because you still have time to link up projects in the daily challenges! Our Holiday Chaos theme, today, is to Show Us Your Favorite Holiday Treat, and create a project based on the recipe provided in today's post at Catch The Bug.  Be sure you run over and check it out to choose your favorite holiday treat from the list - Then create your project and link up to win!

Today is also Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Catch The Bug, so I'm using an older Bugaboo Stamps image to create my project today.

My favorite treat from our treat list, today, is Spiked Eggnog. For this treat, we've asked for projects using this recipe: Border Punch, Polka Dots, Glitter + Item of Choice - (Gemstones). I've used the image, Christmas Bear - Side Ornament, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. This card is made completely of scraps from my stash! Can you beleive it?!  I did an easel card, since I haven't made one in awhile. I just love fancy fold cards, don't you? I used a fancy border punch from Martha Stewart across the bottom of the card in two places.  The green polka dot sheer ribbon bow is handmade by me. I used three green gemstones down the top right corner.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 you and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. I added glitter and sparkle to the fur on the hat on the teddy bear image.

Winter Christmas Wishes

Oh wow, darn internet has been bad, bad, bad here! My apologies to all my followers for being so late in getting my post written! Finally got some internet lasting long enough to save a post! Yay!  Anyway, I have some awesome news!

I have been asked to be a guest designer for C is For Challenge and this is my first GDT project! Yay! So excited!  It's always such an honor and a pleasure to be invited to do a guest designer spot!  Thank you so much, Anna, for giving me this opportunity!

Today's new challenge at C is For challenge is to use Buttons. If you're like me, you love using buttons, so this is a great challenge to play along with, isn't it? I made this cute Christmas card today, using the image Alannah, from Stamp Art Designs By Kathryne, colored with Promarkers. I used this fun mix of snowflake and plaid paper scraps from my stash.  Two large green buttons, recycled from an old coat, were threaded with Christmas colored baker's twine, and used to embellish the card. I used two pieces of metallic green holly in the upper right corner.
