Welcome, March - Hurry Spring!

Happy march, bloggers! Can you believe its March already?! All I can say is, Thank Goodness! Phew! I am SO sick of Winter already! Too cold this winter and too much snow! I am so OVER it! LOL! I am so ready for Spring!

Anyway, we are celebrating the start of March, today, with today's New Release at Bugaboo Stamps, The design team has whipped up some fabulous creations to show you today, featuring one of today's new release images! For my card, today, I used this week's new release, MarchWord, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with a monochromatic theme and used several shades of purple.  The only splash of color is the green for the leaves and lines in the image.  I love this mix of papers together! The card has been embellished with two gemstone flourish swirls, below the image.

Let's Deck The Halls

Good early morning to you all!

I'm back, again, with a new challenge for you, today, at Lacy Sunshine.  Our challenge theme, this time, is Anything Goes/Deck The Halls! Another fun one, isn't it?! Don't forget, our challenges last two weeks, so you have plenty of time to play along with us at Lacy Sunshine. As always, there will be two random winners. My card uses the image, Holly's Garden, by Lacy Sunshine, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash. I added glitter to the fur trim on her dress, for sparkle and shine.  The left side of the image is accented with a white pearl swirl.  I used green glitter ribbon and a green and white polka dot bow, made by hand. The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

It's Oldie But Goodie thursday, at Catch The Bug! We're having a blast, today, bringing some of Bugaboo Stamp's older images back to life by coloring up and showcasing them in all thier glory! My card uses the image, Ava Flower, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with one of my favorite color combinations, Pink and Black. Of course, I also had to add in two of my favorite patters - Polka Dots and Swirls/Flourishes.  All papers are scraps from my stash. The pink ribbon have pearl centers and give it that touch of girly. For my card layout, I used the sketch at Critter Challenge. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

My card uses the image, AKV Ballerina - Ballerina 1, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used these fun plaid and spotted papers from my stash.  To keep with the theme, I used both lace and diamond like gems on my project.  The gems and swirls are from my stash.  The ruffly, girly pink lace is from Hobby Lobby.  I used a small piece of the lace and formed it to make a flower, and added a gem in the middle for the flower center.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle punches.  My card layout uses the Sketch at Sketch And Stash. I used a clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter and sparkle to the ballerina's crown.

My card uses the image Bees - Flower from Bugaboo Stamps, and colored with Promarkers.  I used a clear glaze pen to add shine to the wings.  The papers are all from my stash, as are the gemstone flourishes.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.  I made a penant/bunting pieces to attach on one side if the image.  This was made with my new penant punch maker by Ephinany Crafts.  The Epoxy shapes for these are perfect for making your own embellishments!

Margaret's Back In The Oldie But Goodie Spotlight

Good Morning bloggers! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! Today is Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Catch The Bug and there are some fabulous creations for you to check out! My project today features the image, Margaret Calendar Months - January, from Bugaboo Stamps. I went with pastel colors for this card, and mixed paisley and stripes. The white glittered flourishes are an adhesive border by Recollections. I just bought them at Michael's during a 40% off sale, and I have to tell you - It was such a pain in the tail to use! It's so ornate and detailed, that it was difficult to remove the adhesive backing! Very pretty, but not sure I'd buy it again! Once I use it up, I think that's it for me! LOL The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set by Stampin Up, and punched with the word window and modern label punches.

Wow! Time has flown by and its already the end of my term for the DT at Iris' Spot. I've had so much fun working with this spunky little lady! I'm sad to be posting my last DT card, but I know she'll be bringing in another fabulous DT for the new term and I wish her all the best with her new DT.

For my card today, I've used this adorable fairy image from Glitterbabe's Digis. This little cutie is cut out using nestabilities, colored with Promarkers, and glitter added for sparkle and shine. She is matted on a gold metallic cardstock printed with gold metallic stars and cut out with nesties. After all, what is a fairy without sparkle and glitter?! Both DP are from my stash. The pink paper has a quilted look, with faux stitching. I used pink mulberry paper flowers I found on clearance at meijer. The sprigs of leaves are punched with a punch by Martha Stewart. I added some pink rhinestone swirls/flourishes that I bought at the Scrapbook Expo last month. The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You and is punched with the oval and scalloped oval punches by Stampin Up, then mounted with foam mounting tape, for dimension.
