Clownin' Around With Colors

Welcome to another Saturday challenge at Catch The Bug! This week, we have a Color Challenge for you?! Think you can handle that?! My card uses the image Lil Clown 4, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. Of course, I followed the color scheme in this week's color challenge. This card is perfect for a little boy's birthday. I used all scraps to create this card and think I did a pretty darn good job if I do say so, myself! LOL! The centers of the small squares are punches with the postage stamp punch from EK Success. I used some blue buttons, recycled from an old shirt that had been thrown away, and placed those in the center of the small squares. I used googly eyes on the clown. Isn't he cute?!

Sorry It's Been Rough

I'm back from Christmas break, all refreshed and ready to show you some awesome projects! It's Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Catch The Bug, so come check out our Oldie But Goodie inspiration.  You will love hat the design team has to show you there!

I made this cute get well card to show you. My card uses the image Sign It - Its Been Rough, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used a mix of animal print (Paw print) papers and chevron. Green gems were used to embellish below the image. I also used a blue gem on the doggie's color. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches. I used brown and white gingham ribbon across the center of the card, and added a handmade bow, made from the same ribbon.

Happy Birthday, Partner!

It's Saturday and that means a brand new challenge over at Catch The Bug! Are you ready to saddle up and play along with us, pardner? I have lots of Birthdays coming up among friends and family, so I thought I'd do a birthday card for today's challenge.  (Besides, I thought you might like a break from seeing Christmas cards!) My card uses the image Bugaboo Cowboy - Fence, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. My stash just happened to have scraps of these fun denim plain and bandanna print papers, as well as these scraps of red and white gingham - So they were perfect for a western themed card! I've used for metal brads to attach the gingham print panels and embellished one corner of the image with a blue and white gingham bow.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

My  card today, a birthday card, features the image Clown Around - Pogo, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. My card layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I went with a fun mix of papers and created a monochromatic background. All papers are from my stash.  I used purple gemstones and a purple polka dotted handmade bow, to embellish. Whoo Hoo! My First Official DT Project For Squiggle Stamps!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! I'm so excited, today, because I'm showing you my first card as part of the design team for Squiggle Stamps! Whoo Hoo! Thanks you, everyone, for having me as part of your awesome team!  Oh, and if you haven't checked out thier images, you really should! They are too too cute!

Anyway, there's a new challenge, starting today, and runs for the next 3 weeks.  The theme is color block - We've provided an inspiration photo for you, and we're asking that you make a project using the colors in the pic.  A fun challenge, and plenty of time to play along, so come over to Squiggle Stamps for your chance to win!

hi all!  I have some fun and exciting news for you!  Sheri, from My Sheri Crafts has asked me to be a Guest Designer for today's challenge!  Whoo Hoo! My card today uses the image, Make it Snappy - Thanks A Melon, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  All papers are scraps from my stash.  The red heart is a button and then I added two green eyelets to add some metal to my card. My card layout uses the sketch at Sketch And Stash.  I cut the sentiment away from the image and then attached it to the image, off center, with foam mounting tape.

Star Spangled Birthday

Hi Hi! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!  My apologies for being so late in getting this post finished.  We were without power for about 16 hours and I am just now getting electric and internet back. Phew! I felt like I live in the boonies, without power! LOL

Anyway, we have a new Stella Says Sketch challenge for you, this fortnight, at Catch The Bug! You have two weeks to play along, so be sure you don't miss out on the opportunity! There are awesome digi prize packs from Bugaboo Stamps up for grabs!

My project today is a birthday card, using Sock Elephant Balloon, from Bugaboo Stamps. This little cutie is colored with Promarkers and done in a red white and blue color theme for upcoming independence day, with a birthday twist. The papers are all from my stash.  A Fiskars punch was used to punch the border. I used blue ribbon and a red gingham bow, also from my stash. Buttons recycled from old clothing have been used as embellishments.  The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set by Stampin Up, and is punched with the word window and modern label punches.

Celebrate Red White And Blue

Whoo Hoo It's time for another challenge at Catch The Bug! It's summer, the heat is high, and Independence Day is just around the corner!  So, what more fitting of a theme than summer and/or 4th of July! My card uses the image Margaret Calendar Months - July USA, from Bugaboo Stamps, and colored with Promarkers,  The papers are new, from Archiver's.  I used sheer blue ribbon from my stash and a red and white gingham bow. My card layout uses the sketch at Sketches By Carly. The star was punched with punches by Creative Memories, blinged up with some diamond gemstones.  My ticket was punched with the new ticket stub punch by Stampin Up.  Gemstone stars from my stash were added to the bottom right corner for extra bling.

Elephant Topper Birthday Wishes

My card features this week's Freebie Friday image, Elephant topper, colored with Promarkers, by Bugaboo Stamps.  I paired him with a fun mix of papers, as well as a grey embossed circleused as a pocket, for him to peek over the top of!  All papers are from my stash.  I went with a male birthday card, for this round, because its something I never seem to have enough of.  The elephant image is attached to a tag that pulls up from the circle pocket. My sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.  I used black pearls to embellish, and finished off with wiggly eyes for the elephant.

Have You Seen The Tooth Fairy?

Welcome to another Oldie But Goodie Thursday, for Bugaboo Stamps! This is the day of the week where the DT each chooses an older Bugaboo image, and puts them in the spotlight.  I love Oldie But Goodie Thursdays, and I bet you do, too!  This gives you a chance to see some of the older images, and how wonderful they all are!

My card, today, uses the image, Tooth Fairy - Tooth Fairy and is colored with Promarkers. Isn't she a cutie?! And she looks wonderful in pastels! This turned out to be a cute girly card, didn't it?! I used a heart print paper, as well as a gingham, both from my stash. Of course, the party isn't complete, without some polka dots thrown in! I added this pink polka dotted ribbon from my stash, as well as two purple polka dotted buttons. The bottom edge of the gingham paper is punched with a flower border, punched with a border punch by Martha Stewart.  For the card layout, I used the Sketch at Paper Make up Stamps.

This card is for a girl at work, to give to her daughter.  The little one was so excited to have lost her very first tooth! Truly a special occasion, to a child.

I've used the Sketch at Sketch N Stash for my card layout.The image is Skelekinz - Birthday, from Bugaboo Stamps. She's colored with Promarkers. I used fresh spring colors and a mix of gingham and polka dots for this fun birthday card. The doily is punched with my new doily punch by EK Success, out of yellow and white gingham paper, then embellished with tiny pink gemstone stars for added bling. The sentiment is by Digi Darla and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. Both the image and the sentiment are mounted with foam mounting tape, for dimension.

On The Move

It's New Release Tuesday at Bugaboo Stamps and wow, do we have some cuties for you, today! If you love the AKV (A Kid's View) line, you will love these! There's a new set of "moving" themed images, today, and they are just too too cute! Perfect for those new home or new address cards - Or even those C"congrats on your new" home cards! Today, the team at Catch The Bug are featuring one of the new images from this fabulous line! We're featuring the image, AKV Moving - Car. My card today feautures the new release image, AKV Moving - Car, by Bugaboo Stamps. I've colored the image with Promarkers. Aquamarine was my main color of choice, this time. Of course, I had to throw in a couple of other colors, as well. The flowers are a mix from Recollections and Prima. Pearls are used for the flower centers. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

In spite of the flowers, I think this makes a great male card. I'm sending this to my friend who just moved into a new apartment. I know he's going to love it

Good morning, everyone! Hope you're having a wonderful Friday? I have something to tell you that might even make it better! Today is Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! This cute image used on my card, Lil Cool Dude is free, this week only, from Bugaboo Stamps. Edward Elephant Is Out Of The Box

Hey all! Welcome to another New Release Tuesday, for Bugaboo Stamps. Jodie has the wonderful Edward for us, today. So cute! I mean, c'mon, who doesn't love Elephants?! He's now available for sale, now, in the store at Bugaboo Stamps! Hurry over and get him, then come over to Catch The Bug and show us what you create with him!

My project features Edward Elephant, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I triple matted him to make a frame, to set off the image. Primary colors are my chosen color palette, this time. I used a mix of gingham and striped papers, all from my stash. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches. I added faux stitching to the scalloped circle, with a white opaque pen by Inksentials. The trio of buttons are recycled from an old shirt that has long been thrown away.My card layout uses the sketch at Cards For Men.

Release Me A Sherriff

Whooo Hoo! Welcome to another new release at Bugaboo Stamps! Today, we have a fabulous new release image to showcase! Meet AKV Sheriff - Part of the AKV Cowboys line at Bugaboo Stamps! Jodie is oh so talented and has done a fabulous job with this one! Don't you agree?!

The DT has had so much fun creating with AKV Sheriff! They've created so many awesome projects for you, this time! Check out all the wonderful creations at Catch The Bug! You don't want to miss out on this fabulous eye candy!

My project today uses AKV Sheriff, from the new AKV cowboys line at Bugaboo Stamps. I've colored him with Promarkers. The card layout uses the sketch at Inspirational Card Sketches.
I used a fun mix of denim and bandana print papers, plus a splash of gingham - All of which are scraps from my paper stash. I thought these papers were perfect for a western/cowboy theme. The pennant/banner was punched with a banner punch by Stampin' Up, and attached with foam mounting tape. The silver buttons are by Jolee's Boutique. I used red And white baker's twine for the banner and to lace the silver buttons.
