Happy Valentine's Day To Ewe

Today is Freebie Friday, and bow do we have a cute image to show you (and give you!), today, too, at Bugaboo Stamps.  Don't you just love this adorable little valentine sheep and matching sentiment?! As soon as I seen this little cutie, I couldn't wait to create something with it! For my card, today, I decided to try something new and attempt a fun new card fold.  I just love to try fancy folds, and this one turned out really awesome, I think! I just love it!  Of course, I used this week's Freebie Friday image with matching sentiment, Valentine, Ewe, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers, for my card.  The papers are all from my stash.  I used the lace doiley heart punch from Martha Stewart, and a smaller heart punch by Marvy, for embellishments.  The smaller hearts are punched with red paper that's decorated with metallic silver hearts in the center. Lots of hearts, here! Can you feel the love?!

Santa's Peeking In!

I am currently recovering from surgery, so this post has been set to autpost - Forgive me if I've made any mistakes!

My card today uses the current Stella Says Sketch, and features this week's freebie image, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used the sketch at Sketch and Stamp for my card layout. I went with traditional Christmas colors.  The image wiggles when you move the card and is mounted with an adhesive wobbly spring.  (Sorry, I don't know the official name for them - The package says wobbles LOL) I used a clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter and sparkle to the image. The metal metallic silver snowflakes are from my stash.  The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Release Me A Sherriff

Whooo Hoo! Welcome to another new release at Bugaboo Stamps! Today, we have a fabulous new release image to showcase! Meet AKV Sheriff - Part of the AKV Cowboys line at Bugaboo Stamps! Jodie is oh so talented and has done a fabulous job with this one! Don't you agree?!

The DT has had so much fun creating with AKV Sheriff! They've created so many awesome projects for you, this time! Check out all the wonderful creations at Catch The Bug! You don't want to miss out on this fabulous eye candy!

My project today uses AKV Sheriff, from the new AKV cowboys line at Bugaboo Stamps. I've colored him with Promarkers. The card layout uses the sketch at Inspirational Card Sketches.
I used a fun mix of denim and bandana print papers, plus a splash of gingham - All of which are scraps from my paper stash. I thought these papers were perfect for a western/cowboy theme. The pennant/banner was punched with a banner punch by Stampin' Up, and attached with foam mounting tape. The silver buttons are by Jolee's Boutique. I used red And white baker's twine for the banner and to lace the silver buttons.

Whoo I've Caught The Bug!

I've been a huge fan of Bugaboo Stamps every since I first discovered them and love love love Jodi's images! It's always been my dream to be part of the team and now I finally get to be a part of it, at least for a couple of months! I'm so excited to tell everyone that...

I've been asked to be the Guest Designer for January and February at Bugaboo Stamps!!!

Oh my gosh, I am so darn thrilled! I'm going to have such a blast working and creating with this awesome team!

Here's my first project as Guest Designer for Bugaboo Stamps.






My card uses this fiesty new release AKV Ninja image from Bugaboo Stamps. Monochrome Blue was my theme this time, though I added in some papers with silver glittery accents for that little something extra. The image is colored with Promarkers. I used some Stampin Up ribbon and silver adhesive pearls from my stash. The flower is punched with a punch by Martha Stewart, then layered with a button and adhesive pearl for the flower center.

Jingle Your Own Bells

I've done the Catch The Bug's 12 Days of Christmas out of order a little, but I'm almost finished with all 12 days! Yay! One more to go, after this one!

For Day 12, we were asked to make a project inspired by a Christmas song. Here is my day 12 project for the 12 Days of Christmas at Catch The Bug. I chose the Christmas song, "Jingle Bell Rock" and used the non-traditional color combo of black, white and red.

I'm using sketch #144 at Inspirational Card Sketches for my card layout. I went with these fun musical papers and the Stella Stockings image from Bugaboo Stamps. I colored her with Promarkers and added texture and shine to the fur on her dress and hat, with white Perfect Pearls. The gorgeous red ribbon with gold metallic thread is from my stash. The sentiment says "Jingle Your Own Bells" and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. The sentiment and image are attached with foam mounting tape for extra dimension. I used a pretty, lacy silver doily on the card, as well. The doily is adorned with these cute gold jingle bells, attached with red and white baker's twine.

Holy Cow! It's Christmas!

Are you ready for another project for The 12 Days of Christmas at Catch The Bug? I'm still in Christmas card mode, too! This one is for Day 6, and we were asked to use humor in our card. I thought this image would be hilarious for a Christmas card!

I've used the Sketch at Sketchy Colors for my card layout. The image is from Bugaboo Stamps and is colored with Promarkers. All papers are scraps from my stash. I used the snowflakes Cuttlebug folder to emboss the strips of white cardstock and the photo corners in each corner. Silver pearls were used to embellish the card. The silver and blue glitter snowflakes add the finishing touch. The image and sentiment are punched with scalloped oval and circle punches. I used a clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter and sparkle to the image.

Get Punchy at Corrosive

I used sketch #64 (pictured below) from The Sketch Catalog at Sketch N Stash, for my card layout. The image and sentiment are from the Ahoy Matey Matt set from Dude Time Doodles. Matt is colored with Promarkers. I found this fun anchor print ribbon at Michael's and just knew it was perfect for this card. I tried to go as nautical as possible with what I had in my stash, so I ended up with a red, white and blue color scheme. I've added metallic silver to the mug and cutlass on the image. The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches by Stampin Up, and mounted with foam mounting tape for dimension. The "wild" sentiment is a sticker from my stash. All the papers are from my stash, as well.

I decided to do two cards this week, one for each digi sponsor, so that I could make sure both companies had a project featured for each image they were nice enough to give our DT to work with.

For this post, I am showing you my card using this cute Hot Cocoa image from Digi's By Phooka.

I love this Hot Cocoa image. It is so adorable! Of course, it makes me think Winter, so I had to do a Winter themed card. We still have quite a bit of snow left on the ground, so it is perfect weather for a mug of Hot Cocoa. I colored the image with my Promarkers. The snowflake DP and striped DP are both from my stash. I used 4mm silver flatback pearls from Pizazz Aplenty for embellishing. I finished the card off with a small piece of silver snowflake trim, attached with mini glue dots.
