A Sparkly And Shiny Christmas

Wow, can you believe its that time, again?! It's time for Bugaboo Stamps and crew is celebrating Christmas Chaos, again, over at Catch The Bug! Whoo Hoo! We all know how much you love this event and we are thrilled to be doing it, again, this year! Christmas Chaos runs from December 6 - December 12, with a daily challenge every single day! There will be daily prizes, guest designer spots and a special Christmas digi set up for grabs, so be sure to play along! Remember, the more you play, the more chances you have to win. Keep in mind, though, in order to have a chance at the Guest Designer spots, you have to play along in every single challenge during Christmas Chaos week!

Now, let's kick off this Christmas Chaos celebration with our first daily challenge!  Our theme is Sparkle and Shine and there are lots of sparkly shiny creations being showcased for your viewing pleasure!

Now, here is the low down and skinny on my card.  For my card, I've used the image, DeDe Christmas Bells, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with promarkers. I used a mix of glittery, sparkly papers, from my stash. If you look closely, you can see that I used Merry Christmas washi tape striped across the card. Green gemstones and present shaped buttons have been used to embellish. I added ribbon and a handmade bow to the buttons to make them look more like presents. The sentiment is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

A Sweet Get Well

Wow, can you believe it is Thursday, already? Whoo Hoo Almost Friday! Yay! Anyway, as you know, (if you don't you should be keeping up with the goings on over at Catch The Bug!), today is Oldie But A Goodie Thursday at Catch The Bug. This means the design team is having a blast showing off those older images from Bugaboo Stamps and bringing them back - right in your face, to grab your attention! Stop by and see what the other design team members have to show you, too, at Catch The Bug!

My card for today uses the image, Boy Bear, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers, I used a fun design, this time, with layers of 3 banners.  I think it turned out really cute. The card was embellished with silver pearls. I also added two strips of yellow washi tape, to add an extra splash of color. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

My card uses the image, Sunbonnet Dentist, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used polka dot washi tape across the bottom part of the image. The corners of the image, as well as the top left corner of the card, have been embellished with pink metallic pearls. I used a cluster of flowers in the bottom right of the card.

Let's Take A Vacation

Welcome back to another challenge at Open Minded Crafting. We have a new challenge and new theme for you, today.  Our challenge theme this fortnight is Vacation Related. It's summer, so what better theme to play along with. than vacation! Remember, you have to be in it to win it, so come play along at Open Minded Crafting, for your chance to win one of these fabulous prizes!

I took a different approach to the theme and made a retirement card - Because, after all, isn't retirement like a long vacation?! My card uses the image Jumpin Jellybean 2 in 1, from Beansie Doodles, colored with Promarkers. I used  blue and white polka dotted washi tap across the bottom and embellished with three unusually shaped gemstones.

Let's See Your Christmas Bingo

Whoo Hoo! It's another Christmas In July challenge, today, at Catch The Bug! I hope you've been loving the festivities this week, during our Christmas In July celebration!  Today's challenge is to create a project making a bingo, on the bingo card we'e supplied. Don't forget, there are tons of awesome prizes to be had, during this fun celebration weeks, so be sure you participate as much as you can. Oh, Oh, and don't forget the blog hop, too! You don't want to miss out on the prizes from Bugaboo Stamps!

My card, today, uses the image Make It Snappy - Meowy Christmas, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used Santa printed washi tape diagonally across each corner of the card and added buttons to each corner. I receyvled the buttons from old clothing that's been thrown away. The buttons have been threaded with red, white and green baker's twine. I finished off the card with a red and gold metallic handmade ribbon bow. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

It's Summer - Live, Love, Laugh

Happy Saturday! Are you ready for a new challenge at Catch The Bug? Good because we have one for you, today! This week's theme is... summer! Whoo Hoo! Summer is fast approaching, so this theme is perfect, isn't it? Come over, link up and show us your summer themed creations for your chance to win!

My caruses the image, AKV Love - Bike Ride, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with one of my favorite color combos - Black, White and Red. A Latte Thanks

I went with a thank you card, today. My card uses the image, Girlz Coffee,from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I've used a mix of pink and blue for this card. Flowers and Pearls were used to embellish. The sentiment is handstamped and punched with word window and modern label punches by Stampin Up.

I Give You My Heart

My card, today, showcases images and a sentiment from the Mini Set - Boy Heart, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used the line Pink and Red, Sentiment, and Flower, from our bingo card, to make my bingo. All papers used are from my stash. I've used flowers from Recollections and Prima, with red gemstones as the flower center. I used black and white heart patterned washi tape across the center of the card. I also used tiny red gemstones on the washi tape, on each side of the image.

Monstrous String Of Hearts

My card, today, uses the Freebie Friday Image Monster Heart Strings, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash. For my card layout, I followed the sketch at Sketch And Stash. I've never been lucky enough to win there, but I keep playing along because I do love thier sketches! I've used this awesome black and silver striped ribbon across the bottom panel of the card, topped off with a handmade bow from the same ribbon. I used two different washi tapes down one side of the top and bottom panels. Red gemstones and black glittered pearls were used to embellish two two panels.

Have A Fairy Special Valentine's Day

Happy cold wintery Friday! Today is Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps - Which means a new freebie for you! Another reason to say, TGIF!

Bugaboo Stamps is offering this adorable fairy with heart, as your freebie this week! Be sure you head over to the Bugaboo Stamps store, to pick it up as your very own.  Also, check out Catch The Bug to see the awesome creations made by the design team, using this fun image!

My card uses the fairy heart image, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used some new Valentine themed papers by Echo Part, My Minds Eye and Recollections.  Don't you just love the mix of patterns?! I used glitter on the wings of the image and red and black glittered pearls from my stash, to embellish. I used white washi tape with black hearts, diagonally across the center of the card. I made the image pop, by using foam mounting tape, to raise the image off the card.

A perfect card for the guy in your life, for Valentine's Day!

This card was made especially for a special male friend who lives in Florida.

Bake Me a Tower of Cupcakes For My Birthday

I have a birthday card to show you, today, using this week's Freebie Friday image, Cupcake Tower, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. My card layout uses the sketch at Sunday Sketch and Stamp. This is one of my favorite sketches because it includes a banner and I love them but don;t think to use them as often as I would like. I made a fun banner to hang across the top left corner, using washi tape and twine. I think it makes a great touch! The rest of the card has been embellished with tiny blue pearls that I just got from Santa at Christmas. I even put a pearl in the center of the O in the word YOU of the sentiment! Cute, right?! All papers are from my stash.

This card turned out to be perfect for a guy, too! Cant believe I managed to make another male card, again, already!

My card uses one of the new images, Sammy Bedbug, part of the Buggmee line, by Lacy Sunshine, colored with Promarkers. All papers used in the creation of this card are from my stash. I used some green and gold metallic ribbon to make a handmade bow for the card.  The circle is punched with an EK Success circle punch in two different sizes. I used chevron patterned washi tape beneath the image. I used my new Card Candi with metallic gold stars, to embellish. The image has had glitter and sparkle added to the wings, her antennae and the fluffy ball on her hat.

Retirement Means Relaxation and Fun In The Sun

Wow, can you believe it is Thursday, again, already?! The week sure does fly by! Be sure you come visit the design team for Bugaboo Stamps, over at Catch The Bug, so you can see all the awesome Oldie But Goodie creations they've created for you!

If you live in the USA and are like me, then you probably are already sick of the snow and cold temperatures! My boss sure had the right idea - She decided to retire and move to Florida for sun, sand, warm temps and relaxation! I sure wish I could do the same! LOL.  Anyway, this card is for her retirement.

The card features the image, Dottie Beach, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers (by Letraset). I used papers from Recollections, from my stash and a fun mix of chevron, hearts, stripes and polka dots. I used two strips of purple and lavender chevron washi tape, matted with cardstock (From the Paper Studio) and a handmade bow made with this new purple sheer polka dotted ribbon.

Christmas Snowman

Welcome to our new challenge at Catch The Bug! This week's theme is Bingo.  That's right - come check out our bingo board and see what sort of bingo you can make on your project!  Then, link up with us for your chance to win one of our awesome digi prize packages from Bugaboo Stamps!

Since its the holiday season, I went with a Christmas card, for my bingo project.  My bingo uses a Brad, Starts With "T" - Tree, and a Bugaboo Image. My card uses the image Snowman Skates, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I trimmed the snowman image in silver glitter to make him festive and sparkly. The bottom of the card is trimmed with santa washi tape  I used a metal christmas tree brad in the upper left corner.  The image also has red stickles on his hat and the snowflake.  I added a metallic gold handmade bow above the right upper corner of the image. The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Happy Halloween

Phew! I have had crap internet, again! I know, I know - I just said this not long ago! LOL  Darn internet is terrible in the fall and winter here! Uggh!

Anyway, today is Oldie But Goodie Thursday at  Catch The Bug. The design team has done a great job, as always, at bringing those Oldie But Goodie Bugaboo Stamps images back into the spotlight, with thier awesome creativity! Jump on over to Catch The Bug to see all thier fabulous creations!

I figured since today is Halloween, I should end October with one last Halloween card.  My card features the image, Hween Brat Pumpkin, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with promarkers. All papers are scraps from my stash.  I used two different kinds of Halloween washi tape to embellish two of the corners.  The top right corner has a die cut spiderweb with two punched spiders. I've used a cute metal candy brad at the top left corner of the image and three gemstones to the right of the image.
