Christmas Snowman

Since its the holiday season, I went with a Christmas card, for my bingo project.  My bingo uses a Brad, Starts With "T" - Tree, and a Bugaboo Image. My card uses the image Snowman Skates, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I trimmed the snowman image in silver glitter to make him festive and sparkly. The bottom of the card is trimmed with santa washi tape  I used a metal christmas tree brad in the upper left corner.  The image also has red stickles on his hat and the snowflake.  I added a metallic gold handmade bow above the right upper corner of the image. The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Snowmen and Cocoa! What A Combo!

Happy December, everyone! Can you believe Christmas is less than a month away! Wow, time sure flies! It has been unseasonably warm here, lately, and I am SO enjoying it! I admit, I love Christmas, but I am definitely not looking forward to the bitter cold and snow!

To fuel your Christmas and winter creativity, we have a new release for you, today, from Bugaboo Stamps! Lots of fun snowmen to play with! Who doesn't love snowmen?! You can find these adorable fellas in the store, and also see a fabulous array of inspirational creations featuring these awesome snowmen, at Catch The Bug! Head over and check them out! They are too cute!

My card today features one of the new release snowman images, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. For my card layout, I used the Sketch at Sunday Sketch And Stamp.  I went with a funky mix of patterns for this fun Christmas card.  The glittered ribbon is celebrate it from michael's.  The holly is punched with a new Christmas punch by Martha Stewart.  I used red stickles to add berries to the holly.  The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

She's Been Framed!

Well, here we are, again. Challenge time at Craft Your Passion. This week,we are challenging you to use crumpled paper on your project. This was my first time trying this technique, and I have to admit--It was really fun! Of course, I won't admit how much ink I had all over me by the time I was done creating my project! We'd love for you to get out your paper, crumple it up, create something fabulous with it, and then join us in our Challenge. Now that the formalities are out of the way, here is my project for this week's crumpled paper challenge.

I've used an image by Lauretta's Digital Stamps, and created a frame with chipboard. I'm hanging this on the wall in my scraproom. (I plan to create another later, for use on another project!) The image is colored with Promarkers then cut out and mounted on crumpled paper that I distressed with ink. I used foam mounting tape to mount the image to the crumpled paper, to give it a 3D effect. The flower at the bottom is from Recollections. I used red stickles to highlight the flower and add sparkle and bling.

Hit The Halloween Jackpot

Another Halloween card! This time, I'm using Jackpot, the featured image this week at Shelly's Images. You know what that means! It means this image is on sale in the Shelly's Images store, for today only! Hurry over and pick up Jackpot for making your Halloween cards.

The card layout for my card, is the sketch from The Wildflower Patch. I colored the image with my wonderful Promarkers and pop dotted the image for dimension. (Yes, yes, I love these Promarkers!) The papers are scraps from my stash. The spiderweb border and corners are punched using the spiderweb Punch Around The Page set, by Martha Stewart. I added glitter to the spiderwebs with Gunmetal colored Stickles. (Couldn't find my black stickles) The purple and black swirl with black gem, is an acetate sticker by Recollections. I pop doted the acetate cut out, for dimension.

This card reminds me of my mom and one of her favorite leisure activities. Mom and dad loved to go to the casino and play the slots. I miss you, Mom!
