Oh, wait, don't leave before I get a chance to tell you about my card!  I feel like I truly embraced the Unusual Christmas theme! It's fun, now and then to be different and bring out a little (or a lot) of your darker side.  (We all have one - admit it and show us your dark side creations!) I wanted to color the images in "darker" colors and incorporate skulls, to create a different type of Christmas card.

This is a rarity to me - I actually had so much fun with this card, that I decorated the inside, also - I rarely do that, so this card is definitely special, for a special person! All papers used are from my stash.  (Gotta love that skull paper that I never got the chance to use for Halloween!)  The black white and gold metallic foil snowflake paper seemed to be perfect for this "Darker" Christmas card. My card uses the image Holly and Rosehip Wreath, from Delicious Doodles, colored with Promarkers. My layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I used skull printed ribbon and a handmade bow, across the bottom.  I used these fun skull shaped buttons to embellish on either side of the bow.  The sentiment is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

This card was created for a wonderful friend, for Christmas.  I know my friend will love it and appreciate it!

Wine Takes The B@#$% Right Out Of Me

Well, well, it's Thursday, again, and that means it's Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Bugaboo Stamps. We know you love to see some of the older Bugaboo images brought to life in color, so that's just what we're doing, today, over at Catch The Bug! Come over and check out the other Oldie But Goodie creations from the DT! You'll be glad you did!

My Oldie But Goodie card, today, uses the image and sentiment set, Stella - Wine, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. Ive used papers from my stash.  The green polka dotted ruffled ribbon is from Stampin Up.  I used a gold metallic bow from my stash. The silver and blue metal discs are also from my stash.  Lots of stash used on this one!

My Rice Krispies Told Me To

Welcome back to my blog, and to another Stella Says Sketch challenge at Catch The Bug, where you can win awesome prizes from Bugaboo Stamps! Wanna win?! Well, then you have to come over and visit us at Catch The Bug, to play along with us! Let's see what you create with our sketch, this time around!

My card today uses the current Stella Says Sketch, and features the image, Morning Margaret - Rice krispies, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with various shades of green for this card, and a touch of gold.  There are lots and lots of spots, dots and circles on this card, too!  The border is punched with a punch by Fiskars. I used a scrap of green sheer ribbon from my stash, and a gold metallic bow with a gold pearl center. I've used a glaze pen on the eyeglasses on the image, to give that shiny glass effect.
