While you are here, allow me to tell you all about my project for this challenge. My card uses the image, Black Widow, from Smeared Ink, colored with Copics. All papers are scraps from my stash. My card layout uses the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I recycled the metal skull and crossbones that cam off another project that just didn't turn out the way I liked. The spider/bug is a creepy and most interesting die cut.  Don't you just love the extra touch it adds to this card?! I used a punch by Martha Stewart to make the fence.


Oh, oh, and this card is just perfect for my first try at the Smudgy Antics Challenge, too!

Oh, wait, don't leave before I get a chance to tell you about my card!  I feel like I truly embraced the Unusual Christmas theme! It's fun, now and then to be different and bring out a little (or a lot) of your darker side.  (We all have one - admit it and show us your dark side creations!) I wanted to color the images in "darker" colors and incorporate skulls, to create a different type of Christmas card.

This is a rarity to me - I actually had so much fun with this card, that I decorated the inside, also - I rarely do that, so this card is definitely special, for a special person! All papers used are from my stash.  (Gotta love that skull paper that I never got the chance to use for Halloween!)  The black white and gold metallic foil snowflake paper seemed to be perfect for this "Darker" Christmas card. My card uses the image Holly and Rosehip Wreath, from Delicious Doodles, colored with Promarkers. My layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I used skull printed ribbon and a handmade bow, across the bottom.  I used these fun skull shaped buttons to embellish on either side of the bow.  The sentiment is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.

This card was created for a wonderful friend, for Christmas.  I know my friend will love it and appreciate it!

Have a Happy Halloween, Big Boy!

Can you believe how fast Halloween is approaching?! Wow! It'll be here before you know it! In honor of Halloween, I have a fun, sexy Halloween card to show you. How's that, for a masculine card?! Perfect for that special guy in your life.  This card is for a friend, for Halloween.  I'm sure he's going to love it!

For my card, I've used the image, Bite Me, by The Stamping Chef, colored with Promarkers. My card layout uses the sketch at Feeling Sketchy. This black, white and gray chevron paper is the perfect background. I've used a scrap of black fabric tulle that has a fun purple foil spiderweb pattern on it. I've used two thin strips of green and black bat patterned paper on each side of the tulle, to highlight the tulle.  A clear star gelly roll pen was used to highlight the web on the image and add sparkle. Three spider buttons in purple and black add the finishing touch. All papers are scraps from my stash, as is the piece of tulle.

Wow, I have been posting like a fiend, this week haven't I?!  I hope you aren't sick of me, yet!

I have another Halloween card for you, today. I've used the image, Bobblehead Hween Mummy from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. Of course, my card layout uses the current sketch from our Stella Says Sketch Challenge. I used a metal Halloween brad on the left side of the image.  All papers are from my stash. Across the bottom, I've uses a pieces of funky green and white skull ribbon. The top corner has a piece of orange and black washi tape that has little  buggy eyed spiders. I've used three gemstones in the upper left corner.

This card is for a friend's grandson, for Halloween.
