My last days of summer card uses the image Mermaid, By Kenny K, colored with Promarkers. I went with a blue and purple color combo for this card, with a fun mix of patterns. All papers are from my stash. I used chevron patterned buttons to embellish.

Happy Holidays, Big Boy!

Wow, can you believe it?! I'm back, again, this morning, with another card for you! This time, a Christmas card using this super sexy and oh so fun image, Bow (Adult) by  KennyK ! Perfect for the guy in your life!

I went with Winter colors. All papers are from my stash. The purple and blue looks great, together, don't you think?! I used purple gemstones to embellish, as well as blue glittered ribbon and a shiny snowflake! I think this card is just right for entering into the current KennyK challenge, Merry And Bright! My sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Halloween Black Widow

Good morning bloggers, visitors and friends!

I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I know I did, but phew, was it busy! I'm ready for things to calm back down!

I have a new card to show you, today.  A fun Halloween card! I went with a masculine theme and colors on this one because its for one of my bestest friends, who in Florida. A friend who always appreciates a handmade card.

My card uses the image, La'Spyda, By KennyK, colored with Promarkers. I attempted, for the first time, to do some blending of colors in the image. I'm not completely thrilled with the results, but it's a start and everyone has to start somewhere, right?! Hopefully I will be encouraged to keep trying with the blending and will learn as I go.  I used these fun Halloween papers from my stash. (Don't you just love the chevron paper with the glitter?!) I found these really cool die cut glittery spider webs at Archiver's a couple weeks ago and couldn't wait to use them on a card! Aren't they really cool?! I love, love, love them! Oh, then, of course, there's those creepy crawly spiders, made from a mini punch by EK Success. I used a white opaque pen by Signo to make the legs of the spiders stand out, then added glitter to his body with a Clearstar Gelly Roll pen, to make him stand out. I also used the clearstar gelly roll pen to add sparkle to her dress. The spiders were attached with foam mounting tape for dimension and 3D effect. 

I love the crispness of fall and I consider orange and black to be fall colors since I love Halloween and Halloween is in the fall!

My project today is a valentine card for my husband, and features Sexy Cupid, by KennyK. She's colored with Promarkers. I used the black, white and pinks from the photo for my inspiration. I used a 2 1/2" circle punch, to punch a hole in the front of the card. On the inside of the card, I attached one of the new plastic mazes from Stampin' Up, so that it can be seen from the front of the card. I figure he won't be able to resist trying to get the little balls into the center of the maze! LOL! The heart buttons are from my stash. I added glitter and sparkle to sexy cupid, and attached her with foam mounting tape, for dimension. The papers are all scraps from my stash. The sentiment is computer generated and punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. I think it's perfect for this A-Maze-Ing card!

Happy Birthday, Sexy!

Are you ready to see a rootin' tootin' birthday card?!

I made this card for my friend for his birthday, using the Mae Western image, from KennyK. I colored this sexy vixen with my Promarkers. The metal frame is Hodgepodge Hardware from Stampin Up. I used two patterned papers, star shaped buttons and sheer blue ribbon from my stash

Don't you just love all the layers?! And the pink and blue color combo is perfect for a masculine card.

A teen boy would probably love this card!

This is my first time making a center step card, and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

I did have a slight mishap, though. The darn ribbon came loose on one side when I took the pic and I didn't notice it till I went to watermark the pic. I've since fixed the loose ribbon, but didn't take a new pic, sorry.
