Oh Cupid, Be Mine

Happy Oldie But Goodie Thursday to all of you! I hope you're ready to stop by Catch The Bug to check out all the DT inspiration for today, from the Bugaboo Stamps DT! There are lots of creative masterpieces there, for your viewing pleasure!

I have another valentine card to show you. I wanted to do a masculine card, but still use valentine colors, so I went with the color combo of pink, white and red, with a touch of blue. My card uses the image Deacon Cupid, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used red valentine ribbon across the top and bottom. I used two red felt hearts near the top left and bottom right of the image. The finishing touch are four pink heart shaped gemstones.

This card is for my friend Dan.

My card, today, features the image and sentiment, Calorie Creatures, plus the one cool chick sentiment, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I went with an interesting color combo of purple, white and yellow ~ And it actually turned out quite nice. The purple flowers are felt, with blingy gemstones for center.  I also used a chipboard butterfly embellishment.

Hello, everyone! I sure hope you are all enjoying the winding down of summer!  Can you believe the kids are back to school in many areas?!  Before you know it, Fall will be here!  Of course, I'm not quite ready for Fall, yet, though, and neither are the the folks at Shelly's Images!  We have a fun new challenge for you, this time - We have this gorgeous color combo for you to use to create your projects this week!

My card, today, features the image, Beary Smart, from Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers. I went with a black and red color combo and added splashes of the citrus colors from the color theme for this week's challenge. The card layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. The flowers are made from felt and are from my stash.  I used black pearls to embellish and to make the flower centers.

This is the perfect back to school card! Great for a student or teacher!

This bright, fun, gift bag uses the image, Carousel, from Shelly's Images. I made this gift bag as a thank you, for our neighbor, who helped my dad out with some things, recently.  The image is colored with bright, funky colors that reminds me of going to the local fair as a child and riding the carousel. The words, thank you, are punched with a punch by Martha Stewart.  The felt flowers are from my stash, as are the dew drop pearls that I used for the flower center.  The gift bag is stuffed with cheetos and other goodies.

When Snowmen Ski

Happy Happy Happy Turkey Day, everyone!Hope everyone is having a wonderful today with friends, family and lots of yummy food!

I'm excited to tell everyone that I'm lucky enough to be a guest designer, this fortnight, at Paper Crafting Journey! Whoo Hoo! I am so excited! Of course, this means a new challenge for everyone to play in! The theme this fortnight is Anything Goes and the challenge is sponsored by Digital Delights By Louby Lou. My card uses the Sketch at Woodware USA. I'm using this adorable snowman, Skiing Snowie McFee, from Digital Delights By Louby Lou. I've colored Snowie with Promarkers. The papers are all scraps from my stash. I added some felt snowflake trim and these shiny pearls in red, green and silver. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

We're Doing It In Purple And Black

Here we are, again, with a new challenge at Stamp Insanity. We've combined into one wild and crazy ward, and challenges will now last for two weeks. That's more time for you to create and play along in each challenge! Whoo Hoo!

Big News And Scary Stuff!

Whoo Hoo! I can finally tell some great news that I've had to keep under my hat! I've been invited to be a part of the Design Team for Ooh La La Creations! I had no idea they were looking for new designers, so imagine how shocked I was to receive the invitation in my email! I am so excited and so honored to have been invited to be a part of this wonderful team, and am looking forward to working with and getting to know, these talented ladies!

Now that I have the announcement out of the way, let me tell you about my first card, as a member of the Design Team for Ooh La La Creations.

The theme for Ooh La La's challenge this fortnight, is Scary Stuff. My card fits the sketches at Creative Inspirations and at Fairymoon Crafts. I chose to go with Halloween, for scary, but in a more stylish manner. The chic, stylish digi witch silhouette, as well as the paper, are from Ooh La La's Femme Fatale CD. (If you haven't seen their awesome CD's, you really MUST go check them out! Fabulous papers and pre colored images! Check out the Ooh La La Creations shop.) The felt die cut ribbon used on my card is from Hobby Lobby. I knew when I seen it, that it would be perfect to use with this image. The spiders are punched with a punch by EK Success.
