Happy Birthday, Ewe!

Happy World Card Making Day, bloggers! Are you celebrating my crafting your booties off today?! I've been crafting all week, in honor of it, and got myself a head start! LOL

Today, we have a new challenge at Catch The Bug - This is everyone's favorite, and perfect for World Card Making Day! Our challenge them is Anything Goes! *Applause* I know, I know - Everyone loves it. So do I!  Of course, as usual, there are great prizes up for grabs, from Bugaboo Stamps, so come over to Catch The Bug and link up with us in our Anything Goes challenge, in honor of World Card Making Day!  You are welcome to link up any project - It doesn't have to be a card - So get crafting!

In honor of World Card Making Day, I've created a fancy Fold Card.  This is yet another version of pop up card.  You can see, in the first pic, that the card has a pull tab, which pops up the image.  Check out the second pic, with the image popped up after the tab is pulled.  So cool, isn't it?! I have to say, I absolutely LOVE the fold on this card.  I went with masculine colors because I made this for a male friend's birthday (He thought it was awesome, by the way!)  I used chevron printed washi tape, purple square gemstones and round purple gemstones. My card uses uses the image Make It Snappy - Birthday Ewe, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The sentiment is handwritten with a white opaque pen by Signo.

Get Sketchy And Be Naughty For Christmas In July

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas In July, everyone! It's day two of our Christmas in July celebration at Catch The Bug and we have another fun filled challenge for you. For today, we want to see you follow the sketch we've provided for you.  Remember, you have until the end of our Christmas In July celebration, to complete all of the challenges, so you still have time to play along in all of them, if you wish! My card, today, of course, uses our provided sketch. I've used the image and sentiment set, Stella Christmas - Sled, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers.  All papers are from my stash.  I love these papers, because they're so funky and fun. The image has been punched with circle punches.  I used rhinestones to bling up two of the corners.  My sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval circles.

Show Us The Citrus, Teddy Bear!

Hello, everyone! I sure hope you are all enjoying the winding down of summer!  Can you believe the kids are back to school in many areas?!  Before you know it, Fall will be here!  Of course, I'm not quite ready for Fall, yet, though, and neither are the the folks at Shelly's Images!  We have a fun new challenge for you, this time - We have this gorgeous color combo for you to use to create your projects this week!

My card, today, features the image, Beary Smart, from Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers. I went with a black and red color combo and added splashes of the citrus colors from the color theme for this week's challenge. The card layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. The flowers are made from felt and are from my stash.  I used black pearls to embellish and to make the flower centers.

This is the perfect back to school card! Great for a student or teacher!
