Want some motivation to make you feel like shopping? Head over to Catch The Bug and see all the wonderful creations the DT has to show you, featuring one of today's new releases from Bugaboo Stamps.
My card uses one of today's new releases from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used purples and teals for my colors since its one of my favorite color coimbinations. Tee Pee Thanksgiving
Hi Everyone!
I have a fun new card style to show you, today! This is my first attempt at making a Tee Pee card, and I had such a blast! I admit though, I didn't do a lot as far as decorating, since this card is for a male friend for Thanksgiving - Didn't want too much foo foo fluff on it, ya know?

I used the following photo from Just Inspirational Challenges as the Color Inspiration for today's card:

The card has three sides and each side is decorated with a different patterned paper and a different image. Two sides have the striped ribbon and one has the leaf patterned ribbon, all from my stash. The images are all by Dustin Pikeand are colored with Promarkers. I added adhesive blingy discs to the ribbon on each side for some extra decoration. I could have went wild with the decorating on this, but I had to keep reminding myself that its a male card so its best to keep it simple! (Can't wait to make a girly one!) I ran out of the orangish colored blingy discs since I went kind of crazy with them, so I had to alternate with green on one side. (I never thought there could be too much bling, but I might have went overboard with this card!!!) The images are punched with circle punches. The card is held together on the right side panel with Ultra Think Hook and Loop Tabs (Very thin, flat, velcro) by Tombow, from their Craft Collection. (If you haven't tried this, oh my goodness, they are so awesome! Very thin and hard to detect on your cards! Go Tombow!)
Here is a pic of the card unfolded. You can see all sides except the side with the tabs, that tucks under the left side, to keep the card closed and help it stand up.
It would make a great centerpiece for the holiday table, too!

I am entering this Tee Pee card in the following challenges:

The sentiment is computer generated. The image and sentiment are mounted with foam mounting tape for dimension.

You've Caught My Heart!
Are you ready for a new challenge and a new featured image at Shelly's Images? We have an oldie but a goodie for you, today!
Today's featured image is baseball glove, shown below. This was only the second image to be added to the Shelly's Store. How's that for an oldie but a goodie?!
The design team has had so much fun creating with the Baseball Glove image this week. Check out the blog at Shelly's Images to see all the wonderful creations from the DT using Baseball Glove!
Here is my card using today's featured image:
The image, Baseball Glove, from Shelly's Images, is colored with Promarkers. I chose two fun new basbeball papers. I love the red stitching on them! The sentiment, You've Caught My Heart," is computer generated. I used red and white baker's twine through the holed on a heart shaped button that came off an old teddy bear and then tied it in a bow. Then added the button to the center of the Baseball Glove.
This was a fun card and I really like how it turned out. Simple, yet cute, and effective. A great card for the special sports fan in your life!

Whoo Hoo! Goal!

Welcome to another Marvelous Monday post for Shelly's Images! Wow, can you believe how fast time is flying by?! It'll be summer before we know it! I can't wait, either! I love Spring but I am so so sick of all this darn rain and chaotic weather!
Anyway, its Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images, and we have a fun new image to show off, today. The image is all about soccer and is called Goal! Isn't it just so sweet? I admit, I had to go buy one of the papers for this card, since I didn't have anything soccer related at all. (I'm not much for sports, but don't tell anyone... shhhhh!) This wonderful new image is available in Shelly's Store today only, for a discounted price!
Our guest designer today, is Linda Bowman, of Card Challenges and More. Stop by Shelly's Images to see all the creative inspiration from Linda and the DT!
My card is down in black and blue tones to match the soccer paper I purchases for the card. The spotted paper is from my stash. I've colored the image with Promarkers. I used two cute soccer ball brads to embellish my card. The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches and mounted with foam mounting tape for dimension.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
