Hello bloggers! I'm back as a Growing In Unity girl, for Unity Stamp Company, this week,, and today is Day 1! To say that I'm ecstatic, is an understatement, to say the least! It's such a fabulous experience, and such an honor, to have this opportunity! My first card for this week is/was a total experiment. I fell in love with this stamp, from the 1/18 Kit of The Month, titled Twinkle. As I mentioned earlier, this card was a complete experiment. I've had these Prismacolor colored pencils forever and have never been brave enough to try them, But, I kept seeing all these beautiful cards done with colored pencils and Gamasol, so i finally decided to take the leap, buy some Gamasol and give it a try. I used the pencils and Gamasol to color the image, and to creat my own background. It was an attempt to make a stormy sky. It didn't turn out perfect by any means, but I'm posting ti to encourage others to give it a try. My plan is to keep at it and post future attempts, in hopes to show how I've improved along the way. After all, practice makes perfect, right?
