Good Morning everyone!
Are you ready to see a new project today? How about these Handmade Snoopy Coasters?! Aren't they adorable? I made these for a friend, for Christmas. Unfortunately, they were late getting to him, as I wasn't able to get out to get them mailed. Darn surgery really knocked the stuffing out of me! FInally had to get someone else to go to the post office and mail the darn things! Oh well, at least he got them!
These coasters were made out ceramic floor/wall tiles that I altered.The first thing I did, is to cover the tile in some old plain green paper I had lying around. I had wondered what I was ever going to do with this thin green paper - These coasters were the perfect project for using it up and getting rid of something in my ever growing stash! LOL! After that, I applied a layer of modge podge, then attached the image to the top. The image is a digital clip art image of Snoopy, that I found on the internet. (My friend loves Snoopy!) The image is framed with layers of the green paper and a cream patterned paper. Once dry, I applied multiple layers of modge podge, then finished my applying a sealer, and a top coating of Glossy Accents.
