Awww Look At The Puppy

Welcome to another Marvelous Monday post for Shelly's Images! Today, I have this cute little puppy image to show you. Isn't it adorable? He reminds me of a pekingnese we had when I was a little girl, named Charlie Brown and how he fell into the mop bucket! (That's an entire story in itself, but I Swear I had nothing to do with it!)

Now, on to my cute little Pekingnese project.My card uses the Sketch at InStyle Stamps, for the card layout. This cutie is colored with Promarkers. Both patterned papers are from my stash. They seemed perfect for this image! I bought the metal brads at Hobby Lobby specifically to use with this image, and they add such a nice touch. The sentiment is from the Stampin Up Teeny Tiny Wishes set and is punched using the word window and modern label punches by Stampin Up. I wanted try something new, this time, so I practiced ribbon gathering with the ribbon. I still don't quite have the hang of it, because it came loose after I took the pic of the card and I had to redo it. Anyone have any tips on how to keep it attached?! I mounted the image and the sentiment with foam mounting tape, for dimension.
