Spiders! Eeek!





Welcome to a new challenge and another Terricically Thrilling Thursday, at Shelly's Images.

This week, our challenge is Anything Goes! That's right, we want you to "Show Us What You Got! Your creation can be anything, so go crazy and create anything your little heart desires! You could be our Gold, Silver or Bronze winner, or even our Top Hat winner!

For my project today, I decided to alter an item. I found this fun metal tombstone at Michael's and the little wheels in my head started turning! I knew I had to be able to use this some way, in my crafting. I love Halloween, so I decided to make a personalized wall hanging to hang in my scrap room. The crow on the top of the tombstone, and the edges of the tombstone have sparkle added with black glitter. I used a white opaque pen from Inksentials, to draw spiderwebs on the tombstone. (Yes, yes, I know, I stink at drawing spiderwebs! LOL) Then I added my name and year to the tombstone with the same opaque pen. The spiders and the EEK sentiment are from the Spider set at Shelly's Images. I colored the spiders with Promarkers, then cut out the spiders and the sentiment and attached them to the tombstone with foam mounting tape. It makes a wonderful 3D effect and the tombstone looks great hanging in my craft cave!
