Gotta Love That Mug!





It's Thursday! That means its always a Thrilling Thursday, at Shelly's Images, because it is time for a new challenge!

Our challenge theme this week is Something Sweet. This could be sweets to eat, or just something sweet to look at. Be creative and interpret the theme any way you like, just think sweet!

Have you heard about the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals we give out at Shelly's Images?! For my something sweet card, I am using this yummy mug of Hot Chocolate from the Mug Set available in the Shelly's Images Store. I've colored the image with Promarkers. This is breast cancer awareness week, so I just had to use some pink in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness and Survivors. Of course, the Image Has chocolate and marshmallows, so when we throw those in, we have a Pink, Brown and Cream color combo. For my card layout, I used the sketches at Creative Craft Challenges and at The Pixie Cottage. I've used three different designer papers, all from my stash. I used two decorated inchies in each corner. (If you haven't tried these, they are so much fun to make!) The image and one of the inchies have had glitter and sparkle added with a clearstar gelly roll pen. The sentiment is by Stampin Up and is punched with the word window and modern label punches. The inchies are decorated with a cupcake, flower, sparkly rhinestones and a hand stamped background. I've used foam mounting tape to attach the image, the inchies and the sentiment, to give the card a 3D effect.
