I have some super exciting news to share! I've been having to sit on my hands and tape my mouth shut, too, in order to keep it secret until it was time to reveal it! Believe me, you have NO IDEA how hard it has been to keep this new to myself! *giggles* Ohhhh But the day has finally come that I can share it.........

I Made The Lacy Sunshine Design Team!
Oh my gosh, I am so darn excited! I'm still pinching myself, because it's so hard to believe! But, yes, yes, it's really true....
I'm A Sunshine Girl! Whoo Hoo! Yay!
I know it's hard to believe! I'm still pinching myself, thinking it's a dream and I'm going to wake up! But so far, I haven't woken up, so it must not be a dream, after all! I think all I've done is given myself bruises from pinching myself! LOL! I am so thrilled and honored to be working with such a talented group of ladies and I can't thank them, enough, for giving me this amazing opportunity!
Anyway, now that I've bounced around and announced my news from the rooftops, its time to show you my first project for Lacy Sunshine.
Our challenge at Lacy Sunshine this fortnight is to use Fall Colors. Very appropriate for this time of year, don't you think? Also a very easy theme for you to play along with us, so get out your crafting supplies and create some fall colored goodness! Remember, you have two weeks to play along with us for your chance to win awesome prizes! There will be two random winners - One will win 5 images, one will win three images. There will also be a top 3, who will each win one image. Lots of prizes to be had, so don't miss out! What are you waiting for?! Come play with us! Hurry!
Here is my fall colors card for our current challenge, and first project, ever, for the Lacy Sunshine DT! I'm using the image Eleanor Bookworm, from Lacy Sunshine. All papers used on this card are scraps from my stash. What a fun mix of plain, polka dots and stripes! I love how well the papers go together! I've colored the image with Promarkers. My card layout uses the sketch at Feeling Sketchy. Three animal print gemstones were used to embellish the right side of the image, with an added handmade polka dot bow in the top right corner. The bottom left has a funky orange and black animal print button, threaded with brown metallic baker's twine and tied in a handmade bow. Don't you just love how I incorporated the animals prints into the card, for added fun?!
