Wow, we are in full swing, now, with our Christmas In July festivities at Catch The Bug! You're missing out, if you haven't been playing along! The theme for today's mini challenge is to make a humorous card - Of course, we prefer if you make it Christmas, too! Here is my humorous Christmas card, to give you some creative inspiration. I even went with non traditional colors for this one, and it was so much fun! For my card, I've used the image, Stella Christmas - Boy List, from Bugaboo Stamps. Isn't she hilarious?! I just love her! Stella has been colored with Promarkers and she is showin' off her style, today, like only Stella can! LOL! She's so non-traditional, anyway, so non traditional colors are perfect for her! (And its rumored that she loves stripes!) My card layout uses the sketch at Pink Gem. I used a mix of flowers in fun colors, and a couple buttons, recycled from old clothing, as my embellishments. The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. I used a punch by Martha Stewart to make the sprigs of leaves to go with the flowers.
