A Bright and Cheery Hello

Wow, can you believe its Thursday, again?! That means another Oldie But Goodie Thursday at Catch The Bug! We have some fabulous older images being brought back into the light to grab your attention, today! Come check out all the Oldie But Goodie inspiration, at Catch The Bug!

My card uses the image KIDZ Girl - Just Like Mom, From Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I used bright, fun colors for this one. I've embellished each side of the image with a pink ribbon with a pearl center. I used a pink gemstone flourish in the bottom right corner of the card. The sentiment is punches with circle and scalloped circle punches.

Let's Get Funky, My Purple Baby!

Wow! We had an awesome number of players in our Anything Goes challenge last week! It was so much fun to hop around and visit everyone's blogs! We really appreciate all the participation!

It is Monday, and that means time for a new challenge! This week, we have a fun sketch for you to play with! Come on over and join us at Craft Your Passion, and show us your doubles! For my card, I have chose to use this fun image by Lauretta's Digital Stamps. There is something that I love about this image, though I can't quite put my finger on what it is about it, that intrigues me. I wanted to be outside the box, this time, and go with some funky colors for her hair and lips. She's colored with Promarkers. Isn't she just the most beautiful purple haired lady?! I used some funky purple paper by Paperabilities that I found in a stack on clearance last year at Walmart and hadn't ever used it. It seemed perfect for this funky purple lady! The metallic purple cardstock is also from Walmart. The loops are made of sheer lavender ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is by Stampin Up, from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set, and is punched using oval and scalloped oval punches by Stampin Up! I used a clearstar gelly roll pen to add sparkle and glitter to her hair and to the background paper.
