Well, well, here I am again - This time, to tell you about a new challenge, starting today, at Open Minded Crafting. How about a challenge about work? Your job, hubby's job, a friend's job - Or anyone else.  We want to see your projects featuring someone at work, or using an office related product on your project - Either will work for this fun challenge.

Now that the details of the challenge are out of the way, let me tell you about my card.

My project uses the (new to me)  image, Crafty Honey Painter, from Scrapper's Delights. I went with a monochromatic color scheme this time, and used lots of spots and dots.  This was such a fun project to do, but I definitely felt a bit dotty after completing it! LOL! I kept it simple, with no embellishments, for that reason. All papers used are from my stash.

This card reminds me so much of my school days, because I always looked forward to going back to school, for the art classes! I guess I always loved to be creative and play with paper! LOL

My last days of summer card uses the image Mermaid, By Kenny K, colored with Promarkers. I went with a blue and purple color combo for this card, with a fun mix of patterns. All papers are from my stash. I used chevron patterned buttons to embellish.

Summer Treats Make Sticky WIngs

Well, I'm baaaaack, with news of our new challenge, at Lacy Sunshine! Can you believe summer is almost over?! Wow! Time sure has flown by, hasn't it?! Anyway, our challenge theme, this fortnight, is.... Summer! A perfect theme, isn't it? Ready to show off your summer crafting mojo with us?! My card uses the image, Lil Scoop, from the Sticky Wings line of digis, by Lacy Sunshine, colored with Promarkers. I went with summery colors and a flower print. All papers are from my stash.  A friend talked me into buy a beginners paper quilling kit, so I tried my hand at quilling this flower and vine, for embellishing the card.  Not bad for a first attempt, right?

I went with fruit and wine, for my card. My card, today, uses the image, Wine, by Oak Pond Creations, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash. I used a glaze pen to add a glass like sheen to the wine bottle. I admit, I had a super hard time coloring this image, for some reason and am still not really happy with the results.
