Showing Off Summer

Welcome to our new challenge, at Hobbycutz. This fortnight's theme is your favorite and mine - Anything Goes! Whoo Hoo! You have two weeks to play along and there's great prizes up for grabs! We are so excited to see all your creations, so come play along with us!

I went with a summer themed card in bright, summery colors. My card uses the image, Ashley 3, from The East Wind, colored With Promarkers. I used a pair of flip flop buttons in the bottom right corner. In the top corner, I used a wooden flower diecut from Hobbycutz, then quilled vines to go on each side.  I added a shiny crystalized gemstone pearl to the center of the flower. The sunglasses on the image have been given that "Glass" look, with a clear Glaze pen.

Snowbording Into The Holidays

Welcome to Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps! We have an adorable wintery freebie for you today! AKV Winter Snowboard is this week's freebie image! He's a cutie, isn't he? Be sure you head over to Bugaboo Stamps, before its too late, to get him for free, for your very own!

I've used this week's Freebie Friday image, AKV Winter Snowboard, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers, to make my card.  I used all papers from my stash.  A border punch, by Martha Stewart, was used across the bottom of thet card.  I've added glitter to his face mask. The image has had a green gemstone added to each corner.  Metallic silver ribbon, tied in a handmade bow, adds a nice shimmery touch.  The sentiment is Sentiments 4 You and is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches.
