It's A Boy!

I'm back, again, with a new Stella Says Sketch challenge for you!  I know you MUST be familiar with Stella! But, did you know she has her very own challenge, every other Sunday, at Catch The Bug?!  Well, if you didn't, you do now!  Come over and check out the newest Stella Says Sketch challenge at Catch The Bug and play along! You could be the winner of a digi  prize package from Bugaboo Stamps!

Today, I have for you, a baby announcement.  This is absolutely one of a set of 12.  I made this set of  announcements for a family friend and his girlfriend, who are expecting their first child. I figured it would be a nice gift to give them, with whatever else I decide to buy them.

I've used the image Giraffe Heart 2, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. The baby themed papers are from Hobby Lobby.  I used green hand dyed dew drop pearls from my stash,  for my embellishments. The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval circles.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Of Course I Hung My Stockings

I'm breaking Stella out for my Day 4 Card for The 12 Days of Christmas at Catch The Bug. The theme for day 4 is to add a bird to your project. I admit,I had to get creative with this one!

My card uses the Sketch at Skipping Stones Designs for the layout. I used this fun Christmas image of the oh so wonderful Stella and matching sentiment, from Bugaboo Stamps. She is colored with Promarkers. I went with non traditional colors this time. I found these fun papers in my stash and new they'd make a great card! Stella looks wonderful in purples and blues, doesn't she? The purple and white trim and the metal snowflake brad are also from my stash. I used a Martha Stewart punch to punch out these pretty doves then embossed them with the Snowflakes Cuttlebug folder. Once embossed, I inked them with blue pearlescent ink. (Told you I had to get creative to be able to add a bird to my project!) The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. I attached the image, the birds and the sentiment with foam mounting tape for dimension

It's Halloween Weekend!

It's Halloween weekend! Whoo hoo! I absolutely love Halloween. It is one of my most favorite seasons. I always loved dressing up in a costume and giving candy out to the kids. Unfortunately, we now live where we don't get any kids for trick or treat.

Here's a cute tag for you, today in yummy Halloween colors. The witch is cut with the Cricut, and the digi Frankenstein is by Bugaboo Stamps. I colored him with Bic Markers, instead of the Promarkers, because I wanted him to look creepier, with the more intense colors. The corners, bat and fence, were all done with punches. And don't you just love the Halloween ribbon? The sparkle is added using a clear star gelly roll pen.

I am entering this tag in the following challenges:

Let's Go Back To School

I finally found some time to do a little bit of crafting. Since it's Back To School time,I figured I'd make a card in honor of school days. This card reminds me of a teacher I used to have in 8th grade, Mrs Estoye. I swear the woman was an imposter and locked the real teacher in the closet. I couldn't wait for that school year to be over! (I'm sure we all remember a teacher like that)

For this card, I used the Sketches at Papertake Weekly, Sweet Stop and Sunday Sketch & Stamp, and Crafty Ho's. The image is from the Stella line of digi stamps, from Bugaboo, and is colored with Promarkers. (I just love Jodi's images!) Stella may not be lovely to most of us, but I'm sure she is, in some way, to her husband Gus. After all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?

The background paper is all scraps from my stash. The border is punched using a border punch from Martha Stewart. I tore these buttons off some old clothes I threw away. The ribbon is new, from the dollar bin at Target. It's hard to see in the pic, but I used a clearstar jelly roll pen to her glasses to make them shine.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Happy Birthday 2 One Cool Cat

Another Card from me! This cool cat is from Bugaboo Stamps.

Spots and stripes make a cute combination on this card. I love how the background papers fit together, and the sketch is awesome. I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp. This would make a great Birthday Card for a teenage boy!

The background papers and ribbon are my my stash. I pop dotted the sentiment, to add dimension.

I colored this cool cat in with my Promarkers. I made his glasses sparkle by coloring the lenses with a clearstar gelly roll pen.
