I know, I know, you're probably all tired of seeing Christmas cards by now! I promise this is my last one for the year! LOL

We have a new challenge at Craft Your Passion. Christmas is this week, so we just had to ask you to see your Christmas cards, this week! I know many of you are still doing those last minute cards, so this is your chance to show off those last minute Christmas cards before you put them in the mail, or hand deliver them. My card layout is the sketch at The Pixie Cottage. I just had to use it for my card layout when I seen it. This sketch made a fantastic card and was so much fun to use! My image is from CocoDingo and is colored with Promarkers. Of course, I had to add glitter and sparkle using my clearstar gelly roll pen, since it's a Christmas card! All papers and ribbon are from my stash. The Christmas ticket is by Stitchy Bear Stamps, and is mounted with foam mounting tape, for dimension. I've used the branch punch by Martha Stewart, to make branches of greenery for the upper left corner of the image. I finished the corner of the image with a few skittles (or Dew Drops) dyed with Cranberry color alcohol Ink.

I love the way this card turned out!

I made this card especially for my close friend, Dan, who I met online years ago. We've been friends for about 8 years.

Anything And Everything At Craft Your Passion

I'm so excited to tell you about our new challenge at Craft Your Passion! It's time for another, "Anything Goes" challenge! Whoo Hoo! And this time, not only can you win images of your choice from Lauretta's Digital Stamps and CocoDingo, but we have a sponsor! For my card, I used this fabulous guitar image by CocoDingo. I love this image, because it's perfect for a male card, and I can still add bling! I went with a blue and brown combo for my card. The DP is from my stash. I used a clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter and more sparkle to the image. All bling used on my card, is from Pizazz Aplenty. I've used three 7mm blue rimstones in the top left corner, three 4mm shiny gold gemstones in the bottom right corner, and four 4mm shiny gold gemstones for the corners of the image. The guitar image has several of the beautiful sparkly 3mm clear gemstones along the music staff. I am sooooo loving all this bling from Pizazz Aplenty! My card fits the sketches at Simon Says Stamp and The Pixie Cottage.

This card was so much fun to make, and I really enjoyed playing with all the goodies Judy sent us! Thanks so much Judy!

Let's Double Up at Craft Your Passion

First off, I want to thank everyone who played in our Anything Goes challenge, last week, at Craft Your Passion. We had a record number of entries! It's so awesome to see so many of you joining us, and getting to hop over to your blogs and see your creations. be sure you check out the winner's announcement, to see if you're the lucky winner of last week's challenge. I hope you all will play with us, again, this week.

Now, let's talk about this week's challenge theme!

This week, we are calling, "Double Anything." We want to see double on your project. It could be two patterned papers, two of the same embellishment, two images. The possibilities are endless! Come on over and join us at Craft Your Passion, and show us your doubles! You could win an image of your choice from CocoDingo and Lauretta's Digital Stamps. While you're there, check out the creative inspiration of the rest of the design team. They're all talented ladies and they have some beautiful creations to show you!

Here is my take on "Double Anything." I'm using the sketches from Simpley Betty, Paper Pretties and Hanna and Friends as my card layout. The image is by CocoDingo and is colored with Promarkers. I've used three patterned papers, all from my stash. The holes are punched using a double hole punch by Stampin Up. I threaded some brown jute through the holes and tied on two purple buttons.
