Harvest Thanksgiving

Wow, time is flying by! It's so hard to believe that its November, already! Thanksgiving will be here before we know it! Are you all planning your Thanksgiving menus, yet? I've started working on mine, already.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, we are celebrating this wonderful family holiday this week at Daisy's Doodles. Our theme is Thanksgiving - Anything goes! How's that for a fun one?! Come over to Daisy's Doodles and play along with us! You could be our next winner!

I used the following photo from Just Inspirational Challenges as the Color Inspiration for today's card:

My card today uses fall colors and a thanksgiving theme.

I've used two different images, both from Daisy Doodles. I used the corn image twice and also used the Rebecca image. All images were colored with Promarkers and cut out by hand. I used three different papers from my stash. The sentiment is hand stamped, from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set by Stampin Up. I punched the sentiment with an oval punch, sponged it and then matted it on a scalloped oval. The sentiment and images are all attached using foam mounting tape for dimension and 3D effect.

Grow Some Attitude!

Are you all enjoying the fabulous Spring weather?! The DT at Digi's With Attitude! are all thinking Spring for this week's challenge

That's right, it's challenge time, again! and we have a fun new theme for you. This week, our theme is "Spring Has Sprung!" We'd love for you to come on over and share your Spring projects with us! We're being sponsored this week by Robyn's Fetish, who's giving our sponsor winner 2 digi paper packs of their choice! Plus, Digi's With Attitude! is giving away a $10 gift certificate to fabulous new store! Not to mention, you'll be in the running for Honorable Mention and Card of the Month!

My project today features one of the fabulous April releases, Gardening Tween, at Digi's With Attitude! She's the perfect image for this time of year! I've colored her with Promarkers, and used the sketch at Sketches By Carly, for my card layout. The border is punched with a border punch by Martha Stewart. This pretty flowered DP is from my stash and is by K & C Company. The photo corners are punched with an EK Success corner punch. Flowers are by Bazzil and Prima, with a pink rhinestone in the center.

Boys And Their Toys

Are you all ready for Monday?! It's another Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images! Today's featured image is Conductor. You gotta love this sweet little boy and his train! This sweet image is on sale, today only, for a special price, in in the Shelly's Images store. While you're there, check out her other fabulous images, too! There are so many awesome things to choose from!

Of course, I had to go with a male card, for this image. The image, Conductor, is colored with Promarkers. I went pattern crazy on this one, with a mix of stripes and polka dots.. Then, I couldn't resist adding this houndstooth patterned paper. It reminds me of my grandma. She had a houndstooth patterned coat when I was a little girl. (Back then, I hated that coat! LOL) I used a corner punch by EK Success to punch the corners. The sheer brown ribbon is from my stash. The recycled buttons are from an old shirt that I threw away when I did some cleaning of the closets.
