ABC - Nuts About Nursing
Hi all! My apologies for the lateness in getting my post written. I am having major computer issues and am without a computer for the time being. I just remembered this morning that I hadn't written this morning;s post, so had to run over to a friends just to get it done!
Anyway, today is ABC monday at Catch The Bug and its my turn to show you an ABC (Anything Bbut A Card) project. Today I have for you this cute necklace/pendant. I used the image Nursing Nut, by Bugaboo Stamps, colored with promarkers, to make the pendant. The pendant is hanging on a black leather cord with silver clasps. These are easy to make and a great gift idea! Won't you consider making some for those family and friends on your Christmas list?
I am entering this necklace in the following challenges:

Let's Take A Full Moon Flight
Welcome to another Thursday and another challenge at Shelly's Images! We so appreciate all of you who play along with us! Today we have a new challenge for you. Our theme is "Show Us Your Shape!" That's right, we want to see your shaped cards, tags, etc! Anything, really, as long as its shaped! You have two weeks to play along with us for your chance to win a goodie from the Shelly's Images Store!
My card today is shaped like a scalloped circle. I wanted to challenge myself to use a sketch with a shaped card, and boy was it it a challenge! I do think I succeeded, though, and am happy with how it turned out! I used the Sketch at Sketches By Carly. I used a fun orange and black halloween paper with bats on it. The ribbons are all from my stash. I used black gemstones and green glittered ribbon to add sparkle and shine. The flowers are glittered as well. The leaves beneath the flowers are punched with a punch by martha Stewart, and the bat paper is punched with a 3 1/2" circle punch. I used the image, Full Moon Flight, by Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers, to create my card.

I love thursdays because its our chance to showcase some of the older images and reintroduce you to more Bugaboo goodness! Come over and check out Catch The Bug for lots of oldie but goodie inspiration!
My card uses the image and sentiment, Stella Red hats - Big Hats, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promakers. I used beautiful purple tones, with touches of pink, pastel yellow and green. I used both circle and oval punches on this card. All ribbons are from my stash, I used gemstone circles and purple gemstones to add sparkle and bling. Afterall, you have to have bling, when you wear a big hat! Besides, I'm thinking the bling might make our butts look smaller, too! LOL! The flowers are by prima, with a purple gemstone center.
