Butterfly Kisses and Springtime Wishes With Lacy Sunshine

Hello bloggers, crafters and challenge fans! It's time for a new challenge at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog! This time, we have the perfect one for you, for the season:  Our challenge theme, this time, is Butterfly Kisses and Springtime Wishes at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog. We want to see your Spring time creations, to celebrate the beautiful weather we've been having! We are a bi-weekly challenge blog, so you have two weeks to create and link up with us. You could win a guest designer spot or a fabulous prize from Lacy Sunshine Stamps!



Starting with this challenge, Lacy Sunshine introduces something new - Their Crafter's Recipe Cards! have you ever just loved a project and felt like you just had to know what the creator had used on that specific project?! Well, now you can, with the Lacy Sunshine Crafter's Recipe Cards! Each post, the Lacy Sunshine Design Team Members, will add their recipe card, for their posted project. This way, you can see exactly what we used to create each project - Right down to the coloring medium and the colors we used! How cool is that?! Are you excited yet?! I hope so! I'd love to hear your feedback, in the comments, as to how you like these new recipe cards!

Oh, and now, here is my recipe card for today's project:

As you can see from my recipe card, my card uses the image, Saphira Blue Belle, from Lacy Sunshine Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers used are from my stash. My card layout uses the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I've used hand dyed skittles to embellish the card. The flower is hand made, made with Stampin Up Punches. I hand cut a pennant, to stick up under the flower.  I think it's a great effect, don't you?!

Christmas By Candlelight

Are you all sick of seeing Christmas cards, yet? I know, I know! Luckily for you, I'm almost finished with mine! (nothing like last minute cards, right?!)

This is our Free Week at Daisy Doodles, so we get to choose whatever we like. Since I'm still in Christmas Card mode, I chose this gorgeous Christmas candles image to work with.

This card is for my mother in law, who's very relgious, hence the spiritual yellow DP.

The image is from Daisy Doodles and is colored with Promarkers. I went with a non traditional pastel color combo for this one, and a clean and simple theme. I added glitter and sparkle to the image with my clearstar gelly roll pen and finished the card with this fun pennant/bunting/banner put together with green baker's twine.

Terrifically Thrilling Thursday is here, again! We have a new challenge for you, today, at Shelly's Images?! We're asking you to create projects based on the Tic Tac Toe board, below! This is a fun challenge with so many possibilities!

Oooh and I'm excited to show you my card for this fun challenge! I used the following combination from the Tic Tac Toe board: Twine/Jute, Free Space, Punches.



My card uses today's featured image set, Corn Harvest, from Shelly's Images. Corn Harvest is available, today only, for a special sale price in Shelly's Store.

I had so much fun creating this card. The image was a blast to color. (I used my Promarkers). I admit, I had fun with all the different colors in the ear of corn! LOL. I used my Pennant/Banner punch from Stampin Up. Attached the pieces to some Jute and made a banner for the card. The three different papers I used are all from my stash. I attached the banner, image and sentiment with foam mounting tape, for dimension and 3D effect. The card base is green cardstock embossed with the swiss dots folder.

For my card layout, I am using the sketch at Fetch A Sketch. I've used the photo inspiration at Some Odd Girl for my color scheme, as well as some colors from the Sugared Spectrum color palette from Design Seeds. (Color Palette Shown Above) Of course, I just had to use a Some Odd Girl image! This is Star Bright Tia and she is just too cute! I've colored her with Promakers and added glitter and sparkle to her with the Clearstar Gelly Roll pen. The banner is punched using the new Banner punch by Stampin Up. I used some multicolored fiber in shades of pink to trim the top of the banner. All papers are from my stash. The new ruffled ribbon is from Stampin Up. The rhinestone bling is from Recollections. The image is popped up from the card with foam mounting tape.
