Have A Bloomin' Good Easter

Whooo Hoo! I have some great news! I'm here to show you my very first project as part of the Hobbycutz design team! That's right! I made the Hobbycutz DT! Can you beleive it?! What a lucky girl I am! I want to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful Kobie for giving me this fabulous opportunity! I am so looking forward to using the awesome Hobbycutz products once my DT package arrives!

Now that I've given you my great news, let me tell you all about the newest challenge at the Hobbycutz Challenge Blog. Our current challenge is to make an Easter project. The perfect challenge for April, isn't it? We'd love for you to come on over to the Hobbycutz Challenge Blog, today, and link up your awesome Easter projects! We'd love to see what you create! You could win a great prize, too, so be sure you play along! Hurry! Come link up with us!

My card today uses this adorable image from Squigglefly, colored with Promarkers. All papers are from my stash. I've used sheer pink ribbon across the center of the card, with a pink metal brad on each side of the image. Yellow metal brads were placed in each corner of the image.  I added some funky bright colored flowers, with gemstone centers, across the top of the card. The sentiment is punched with the word window punch by Stampin Up.

Pretty Pretty Flower Pot Pretty

Wow, what a tough winter we've had! If you're like me, you're ready for some warmer weather! I'm dreaming of warmth, sunshine, flowers, and even rain! Yes, yes, I know - why am I thinking of rain?! I guess, because it means Spring brings lots and lots of rain! I'm ready for a change in weather - I'm so sick of the cold, snow and ice, aren't you?! Rain is nice, too, sometimes - Especially nice to sleep when it rains - It's so relaxing to me!

Anyway, let me stop babbling and start telling you all about our new challenge at the Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog! Since we're all thinking about spring, now, let's see some flowers! That's right - Our theme is to add some flowers.  A perfect challenge theme for this time of year, don't you think? We want to see your flowery creations so come link up with us, for your chance to win.  There are top 3 spots up for grabs as well as a guest designer spot. Oh, and prizes to be won, too!

My card uses the image Lilac Flower Pot Pretties, from Lacy Sunshine. I went with papers in purples, to go along with the Lilacs in the image. I used a mixture of patterns, including stripes and polka dots. Glittered purple ribbon accents the center of the card. I used purple gemstones in the upper right corner. I used the Martha Stewart  branch punch to punch out some greenery and made a vine on the bottom half of the card. I used glittered flowers, with gemstone centers, from the Paper Studio, along the vine.
