Showin' Some Love and Stella Says Sketch

Have you all been enjoying our new "Stella Says Sketch Challenge" at Catch The Bug?! Remember, the "Stella Says Sketch" challenge is biweekly, every other sunday. And, since this is Sunday, it's time for a new sketch challenge!

My project today features Ava Heart. This cutie is from Bugaboo Stamps. She's colored with Promarkers, and glitter and sparkle has been added to the heart, as well as the bow in her hair. I've used this new pink heart paper, as well as some scraps of valentine and black and white polka dot papers, from my stash. Black dew drop pearls were added for that little extra touch. the sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set by Stampin Up, and punched with word window and modern label punches.

Happy Birthday Bugaboo! Let's Hop!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY TO BUGABOO Whoo Hoo! How awesome is that?!I hope you're ready for some fun because we are going to party!

So, to celebrate Bugaboo’s 2^nd Birthday, not only are we doing this fun blog hop, but we’ve got a great Birthday Themed challenge for you today!

Here is my card for today's fabulous Birthday Challenge:

I used the fun image, Skelekinz-Cupcake. I went crazy with distressing, with this project, too! I got a Diztrezz-It-All (by Zutter) from Santa, and just had to use it! Wow, I can't tell you how much easier distressing is, with this little baby! I also used a battery operated hand held battery operated distressing tool by Imaginesce, to distress the fine scallops on the scalloped circle. After distressing my papers, the edges were inked with distressing ink pads. The image is colored with Promarkers. The papers are all scraps from my scrap box. (Gotta love scraps!) The flowers are from my stash, and branches punched with the branch punch by Martha Stewart. The butterfly is also from my stash. Sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You. The image and sentiment are attached with foam mounting tape for dimension.

My card today uses the Lil Prince 1 image from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. I've used the sketch at Sketches By Carly, for my card layout. These fun papers are from a new paper stack I got from Santa. Don't you just love the pink zebra striped paper?! I've always had a thing for animal prints - Especially the zebra prints, in various colors. I added bling and sparkle to my creation with these fun adhesive gems. I also added tiny shimmer gems to the Lil Prince's crown. The image is mounted with foam mounting tape for dimension.

Snow Beary Cute

Hey everyone! How's the weather there?! If you're like me, you're still in the middle of winter! Yucky! I hate winter! The only good thing about it, is getting to use these fun winter time digi images! LOL (That's the only kind of snow and snowflakes that I like, I'll tell ya!)

We have a new challenge, and a new featured image for you, today, at
Shelly's Images! The theme this week is something new for us and a really fun one! It was Shelly's idea, and is so cool! The theme is Roll 'Em -On the Shelly's Images Blog, there's a list of elements, each assigned a number. The idea is to roll the dice (Or use the random number generator on the sidebar) to choose three numbers, then challenge yourself to use those 3 elements on your project! I wasn't sure about it, myself, at first, but it really was a blast, once I got started! I feally hope we do more of these! It was great fun!

Oh, and then, there's today's featured image, Snow Beary, available today only for a special price, in the
Shelly's Images store. Get him at the discounted price while you can! He's a real cutie!

And now, here is my project, featuring Snow Beary. I used the following numbers on our "Roll 'Em" list:

#0 - Doodling
#3 - Use 3 Layers
#8 - Buttons, Brads or Bling (I chose Bling)



My card layout uses the sketch at Inspirational Card Sketches. The image, Snow Beary, by Shelly's Images, is colored with Promarkers. I used a 0.1 fine point black Promarker, to do the doodling on the frame of the image. The blue snowflake paper is a scrap from my stash. The gold papers are from a new paper stack by Recollections, that I got for Christmas. The circles were punched with circle punches of various sizes. I added a white gliterry snowflake and a silver adhesive pearl, to add bling. My card has three layers. The image and the smallest circle are attached with foam mounting tape, for dimension.

Good morning, everyone! Are you awake yet?! I hope so, because we have a new challenge for you today, at Catch The Bug! This is one of my favorites, and I bet its your, too! Our theme this week is, "Anything Goes!" Whoo Hoo! Gotta love those anything goes challenges, don't ya? I can hear the thunderous applause, already! LOL The team at Bugaboo Stamps has some awesome projects to show you today, to get your creative juices flowing! I've used a simple layout for my card, today. I'm using the image,
Stella Peeker-Search And Rescue, by Bugaboo Stamps. I printed the image three times, for layering purposes. I cut Stella off of two of the images, so that I could use those two, to help make a mountain range. I wanted the image to be the focal point of the card. The center image, with Stella fully intact, is mounted with foam mounting tape for dimension. I used Promarkers for my coloring. The papers are scraps from my stash. Glitter and Sparkle was added to the snow on the mountain tops, with a clearstar gelly roll pen. The sentiment, also by Bugaboo stamps, is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

Here is my freebie friday project, as guest designer for Bugaboo Stamps. I'm using the freebie friday image, AKV Sign It-boy, by Bugaboo Stamps. I've colored him with Promarkers and did fussy cutting around the image. My card layout uses the Sketch at Skipping Stones Designs. I used these fun new papers from Recollections, that came from a new paper stack I got for Christmas, and made a banner across the top of the card. The black and white sheer polka dotted ribbon is from my stash. I tied the ribbon is a fancy knot twice, to add a different look. The image is mounted with foam mounting tape for dimension.

Let's Build A Snowman!

Hello everyone! Welcome! I'm so glad you stopped by today! I have a new card to show you, perfect for the winter blues! The challenge this week at Shelly's Images is "Out With The Old, In With The New." We want to see your projects featuring a new item to your crafting stash. The perfect way to start using some of those wonderful goodies we got for Christmas!

The DT at Shelly's Images have some wonderful creations to show you, too! Shelly's featured image today is the Snow Man Set, available today only, for a special price in the Shelly's Images store. Hurry over and get the snow man set for your very own, then head over to Shelly's Images blog and check out the wonderful creations made by the reset of the DT! They'll knock your socks off! (Or maybe your mittens, in this case!)

My card layout uses the Sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I'm of course, using the snowman from the snowman set by Shelly's Images, colored with Promarkers. All papers are scraps from my stash. The button is recycled from an old winter sweater I purged and trashed from the closet. The ribbon is new, from the bargain bin at Michael's. Yay for bargain bins! I've used my clearstar gelly roll pen to add glitter and sparkle to the image.
