Let's See You Expresso Yourself!
Are you ready to mix and match match multiple papers and have some fun with us at Iris' Spot?! Iris has a fun new challenge for you, today. She wants to see us use more than two patterned papers on our project. And, she has a fabulous sponsor, this week! The sponsor at Iris' Spot is the wonderful Whimsy Stamps, who gave our DT some fun images to work with. Thank you, Whimsy Stamps!
I'm feeling all girlie this week! My project today uses this adorable mug image from Melissa Jenkins at Whimsy Stamps. I felt like a color combo of pinks and browns would be perfect for this adorable image. And, it gave me a chance to use some fun things from my stash, that I haven't ever used! The image has been punched with the large flower punch, by Stampin Up, and colored with Promarkers. For my card layout, I used the sketch at The Pixie Cottage, as well as incorporating their optional theme of "Sparkle," and the sketches at Sketch and Stash, Stamp With Fun and Heartsong Inspirations. My awesome pink sparkly ribbon is from my stash, as are the flowers. I've used all scrap papers from my scrap box. The flowers are by Prima. The adhesive pearls are from the 99 cent bling booth at the Scrapbook expo I attended over the weekend. I used a Promarker to color in the pearls, to get the color I wanted. How cool is that?! The flowers have had glitter and sparkle added to them with my trusty clearstar gelly roll pen.

It's Your Birthday! Grin and Bear It!
Are you ready for a new challenge at Craft Your Passion?! It's that time, again, and we have a fun new theme for you this week!
This time, our theme is "Grin and Bear It." We want to see all of your projects featuring a bear. We know people love to use bears on their cards and things, so we felt like this would be a fun theme. The possibilities are endless!
Come on over and play along with us at Craft Your Passion. Our sponsor this week is the oh so talented Kayla, of Purple Panda Designs. Play along with us for your chance to win!
Kayla gave the DT the most adorable bear images to use on our projects this week. My card uses the sketch at Inspirational Card Sketches, Stamp With Fun and at Sketch and Stash. for the layout. I used some fun papers for this one, too! The image is colored with Promarkers. I've used papers, a punched scalloped circle and punched scalloped border from Stampin Up. I got these goodies as one of my freebies from the recent Sale-A-Bration catalog, and dressed them up by adding glitter and sparkle with a clearstar gelly roll pen. The large adhesive pearls were part of the 99 cent bling I bought at the Scrapbook Expo I just attended over the weekend. Gotta love that bargain bling!

It's Spring! Wanna Pet My Lamb?
Happy happy Monday, everyone! And what a Marvelous Monday, it is! I've been enjoying the wonderful weather we have here! (Let's not talk about those occasional bouts of cold we've had sneaking in here and there. Shhhhhh) I'm n the mood for Spring and am already thinking about Easter.
Today, I'm going to show you Spring Lamb, from Shelly's Images. Isn't he just the cutest?! And, that means he's the featured image - So, you can get him, today only, in Shelly's Store, for a special price! He is perfect for Spring cards and Easter cards! Be quick and beat the herd! Hurry on over to the store and get him before the sale is over! Check out Shelly's other fabulous images, while you're there!
For my layout, I've used the fabulous sketch at Priscilla's Styles. I never ever win there, but I love their sketches, so I do play along from time to time. The sketches this week are particularly fun and interesting, and I couldn't resist using one for my card, today. Ive used a pale yellowish gold card base, and scraps of lovely spring colored papers in shades of pink and green. This is a girly springy eastery card! LOL! The image is colored with Promarkers. The green and pink flowers are from Flor-A Doodle. I removed the original gems from the flowers and replaced them with clear gems (because the colors didn't match originally). The lime green glittered flowers and ribbon are from my stash, as is the little polka dotted bow. I used my clearstar gelly roll pen to add sparkle all over the card, and I think I got a little carried away! LOL! Really, though it doesn't look bad in person, but if you blow up this pic on your screen, it looks like this poor little lamb and his surroundings were attacked by a glitter bug!
(I guess that glitterbug would be me!) =P

Look At My Support Bra!
Once again, it's challenge time at Craft Your Passion! The theme this week is Thank You, or Show Your Support. Come on over and play along with us! Our sponsor, this week is the fabulous Melissa Jenkins, at Meljen's Designs. You could win some fab digi's from Melissa!
Gee, I most love polka dots and pearls, today! I went with a very simple look for my card. Mostly because I wanted to show off this cute image. One of several that Melissa was kind enough to give the DT to work with. The image is called Little Brazier. I just fell in love with it when I seen it. Gotta love a good support bra! The image is colored with Promarkers. The digi papers are from Floppy Latte Designs. They're actually scraps from my stash, from previous cards. The sentiment is computer generated. I cut those little banners by hand. I'm sure you can tell, since they aren't the straightest cut in the world! LOL I used pearls on the bra to add a little bling.
I am entering this card in the following challenges.

Happy Mother's Day
Are you ready for a new challenge? This fortnight, we are celebrating Mother's Day at Ooh La La. Come on over and show us how you celebrate mom. If you play along with us, you could win some fabulous products!
I admit, I had a hard time with this project. I lost my mom last year around Mother's Day, after numerous hospital stays. It was so hard on all of us and it is so hard to believe she is gone.
Anyway, I apologize, in advance, for the fact this card certainly isn't one of my best.
For my project, I've created a card using all digi papers and elements from ooh La La Creation's new "All Dressed Up" CD. This CD has tons of wonderful papers and fashion related images. There's also a section called The Flower Shop, which is where this particular selection is from. You can get this CD here.
For the layout, I used the sketch at Sew many Challenges. I went with shades of purple and blue this time. As you know, if you visit my blog often, I love purple. This paper is gorgeous and I couldn't wait to use it once I seen it on the new CD. The circular sentiment and the image are both attached using foam tape, for dimension.

I'll Have Some Pearls With My Carrots
Good Morning Bloggers!! And what a Marvelous Monday it is! Today is another Featured image at Shelly's Images. Whoo Hoo!
Today, Shelly's Images is thinking about Spring and the garden, featuring the new Carrot Patch image.
This fabulous image can be yours, today only, at a special price, in Shelly's Store. Check out the other wonderful images, too, while you're there!
For my card layout, I used the fabulous sketch at One Crazy Stamper. Not sure why I mixed in some scraps of vintage paper on this card, but it seemed to be just right to me. I love the colors together. And you all know how much I love polka dots in any size! I found this cool ribbon trim at Michael's a long time ago, in the dollar bin and just never had used it. I thought it was about time to put it to use. I used pearls to add to the centers of the flowers. The image, of course is by Shelly's Images and colored with Promarkers. Pearls were also used to embellish the bottom left corner of the image. I added this cute silver and white glittery butterfly as a finishing touch. All items used to create this card are from my stash.

Being Together
If you're a horse lover, then you are going to love Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images. Today's featured image, Being Together, is on sale, today only, in Shelly's Store! Saddle up and trot on over to Shelly's store and pick this beauty up for yourself. You'll be glad you did!
For my card today, I've used the fun sketches at Inspirational Card Sketches and Get Sketchy, for my layout.
Of course, the image, Being Together, is today's featured image at Shelly's Images. I've used a couple different mediums, this time, for coloring the image. First, I colored the image in with my oh so wonderful Promarkers. Then, I decided I wanted to add some distressing elements to the card, so I broke out my new, never used distressing kit by Making Memories. It comes with so many fun things that I still haven't used yet, but I did break out the edging tool for this project, as well as the chalks. The chalks came in green, tan and black. I edged the entire image in the green, very lightly. Next, I added the tan t the sky, and then used the black chalks to add some a shaded muffled cloudy look to the sky and between the slats of the fence. The distressing edger tool was used to distress the edges of the card base, and the matting on the image. I really like how it turned out, and it is sooooo much nicer to look at in person!
The woodgrain DP (Which you can't see much of, sorry) and the cowboy themed DP are scraps from my stash, as are the star shaped buttons. The buttons came from a western top my mom used to have. I save buttons off clothing when it gets thrown away. Go Green! I had purchased the metal ribbon slider brads and the leather cord at Hobby Lobby specifically for this project, and had intended to thread the cord through the ribbon slider brad. Things don't always work out they way we plan, though, do we? I found out that the cord was too thick to fit through the metal slider.... so I had to quickly come up with a plan B! What you see here, is Plan B! LOL! I had bought both of these for use on this card, and darn it, I was determined to make it happen! It looks different than it did in my head, but then, projects usually do once they roll around in my head and come spilling out onto paper!
I had so much fun making this project! I hope you'll enjoy looking at it.
