Have A Happy 4th Of July

Are you ready for the 4th of July?! You better be, because its just around the corner! I'm definitely ready! Can't you tell from this cute card I have to show you?!  I've used this cute image, Firecracker, from
Mayzy Art. She is adorable, isn't she? She is colored with Promakers.

This is meant to be a masculine card, made especially for my very best friend who lives in Florida.  He always appreciates my handmade cards, so he gets one especially made for him, every holiday and birthday.

All papers are from my stash. My card layout uses the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy. I've added glitter and sparkle to the image with a clearstar gelly roll pen. The stars are punched with two star punches, by Recollections. I used some shiny blue adhesive star embellishments to add the finishing touch.

Happy Birthday, Hippie Chick!

Yet another card, from me, today.  This one is funky andwas made especially for a 16th birthday.  The image is called Blossom Hippie Chick, by Lacy Sunshine, colored with Promarkers. I used papers with peace signs and a funky pink and white zebra print. The fun colorful ribbon is full of peace signs.  I embellished with some peace sign stickers from my stash.

My card, today, is for Mother's Day, for a special woman.  It's featuring the image, AKV Smell Flowers, from Bugaboo Stamps, colored with Promarkers. All papers are new to me, from Hobby Lobby.  The black  pearl center bows and black pearls are from my stash, as is the black and white glittered ribbon.  The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.

I've used red glittered ribbon and blue gemstones to add sparkle and shine.  The striped and polkda dotted papers are new, from Michael's. The sentiment is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches.  It makes a great masculine birthday card, don't you think?

Ice Cream Fun In The Sun

Hello, everyone! I have a new card to show you, today!  Crafty Sentiments is offering their newest Harriet image for free, right now, if you use it in their current challenge!  I just couldn't resist this little cutie, and just had to request her so I could play along. I don't think she is even in the store yet! Isn't she adorable?! This is my first Crafty Sentiments image and I love her so I will definitely have to start buying some of their images!
I've used the sketch at Seems A Little Sketchy, for my card layout. All papers are from my stash.  I love the polka dots on this! I think it really makes things stand out. This is the perfect card for summer, since Hariet is eating ice cream! Who doesn't think of ice cream when they think of summer!  I've use some green and metallic silver ribbon tied in a bow, to accent the image.  Purple pearls were used to set off the upper right and lower left corners of the card.  The purple butterfly above the image is also perfect for the summer theme, isn't it?

All papers are from my stash.  The flowers are by Prima and are also from my stash.  I've used the word window and modern label punches to punch my sentiment. Gold gemstones have been added to the flowers to make blingy flowered centers.
