For my project, I am using one of today's new releases, Movie Star Tween, by
Digi's With Attitude! This little beauty is colored with Promarkers and enhanced with glitter for that extra star appeal. My card uses the sketch at Stamping Vacation for the layout. The papers are both from my stash. The black paper is texturized and embossed with a weird pattern and then highlighted with silver glitter. It almost feels like paper towels or tissue paper that has been clumped up, watersoaked and redried. It have a very cool texture! (Yes I just admitted that it's cool to soak down paper, clump it up, let it dry, and play with it! Guess I know why I loved to throw things in a tub full of water as a kid!) It seemed to match perfectly with this funky pink and black zebra paper! I wanted to go Monochromatic in a strange way, which is why I chose black as my neutral color. This gorgeous black lace is from Pizzazz Aplenty, as are these fabulous silver flatback pearls (in the upper left corner - Hard to see because of the watermark, sorry). The stick pin is a simple one, made by me. I wanted to incorporate metal and lace, but not have anything to gaudy so the attention would focus on the image. The ribbon and bow with pearl are all from my stash. I punched the stars with punches by Creative Memories. The image and stars are mounted with foam mounting tape for extra 3D effect.

Hurry over to Iris' Spot and play along for your chance to win a fabulous digi prize!
Wow! Time has flown by and its already the end of my term for the DT at Iris' Spot. I've had so much fun working with this spunky little lady! I'm sad to be posting my last DT card, but I know she'll be bringing in another fabulous DT for the new term and I wish her all the best with her new DT.
For my card today, I've used this adorable fairy image from Glitterbabe's Digis. This little cutie is cut out using nestabilities, colored with Promarkers, and glitter added for sparkle and shine. She is matted on a gold metallic cardstock printed with gold metallic stars and cut out with nesties. After all, what is a fairy without sparkle and glitter?! Both DP are from my stash. The pink paper has a quilted look, with faux stitching. I used pink mulberry paper flowers I found on clearance at meijer. The sprigs of leaves are punched with a punch by Martha Stewart. I added some pink rhinestone swirls/flourishes that I bought at the Scrapbook Expo last month. The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You and is punched with the oval and scalloped oval punches by Stampin Up, then mounted with foam mounting tape, for dimension.

For The Love Of Otters
I'm so excited, today, to share with you another Marvelous Monday at Shelly's Images! This one is extra special to me, because it features an image that I requested. Shelly was kind enough to draw it for me, for a project I had in mind. My cousin had visited back in the Winter and had seen a clock I altered. She fell in love with the clock and said, "OMG! You should make me one with an Otter on it!" (She LOVES otters!) I thought, Where am I going to get an image of an otter?!" So, I took a chance and asked Shelly if she could possibly draw one for me, so I could make this clock, and viola! Here we are with this fabulous Otter image! You can buy "Otter" in Shelly's Store, today only, for a discounted price!
This is perfect timing, because my cousin just moved into her own apartment for the first time and also just won an awesome Talent Contest in her hometown at the local comedy club! So, this is going to be a wonderful gift for her when I surprise her with it! Thanks so much, Shelly, for this fabulous image! Brandie is going to love her clock!
Stop by Shelly's Images and check out the other fantastic projects from our talented DT, as well as our featured Guest Designer, the oh so creative Debbie Harris, of DKH Designs! *Applause* Visit us at Shelly's Images and leave us some love! We love to read your comments!
Oh, and how about a tutorial for making an altered clock?! Stop by Shelly's Images, again, tomorrow for a step by step tutorial, and make your own clock!
Now, let's talk about this clock! I've used an inexpensive (just under $5) clock from Walmart. In case you are looking to make your own, the brand name of the clock is Mainstay. I used a patterned leaf paper in fall colors, to go with my Otter. The adorable otter is colored with Promarkers. I used the sponging technique to add color around the image. (Browns, Tans and Greens below the log, and then a mix of blues and greens to create a sky behind the otter) I punched a hole in the image with the Croc A Dile Big Bite, to be able to add the hands for the clock. The numbers are metallic gold foil stickers from The Paper Studio, matted on Chocolate Chip Cardstock and mounted with Foam Mounting Tape for dimension. The otter is cut out using the Creative Memories Cutting System.
Don't forget to drop by Shelly's Images, again, tomorrow for a step by step tutorial on altering your own clock!
I am entering this altered clock in the following challenges:

Iris Says Punch It
Wow, I can't beleive how quickly my DT term is coming to an end at Iris' Spot?! This is me second to last card for Iris, and I have had so much fun being a part of her DT.
We have another new challenge for you, today at Iris' Spot. Our theme this week is to use punches. This week, we are being sponsored at Iris' Spot by the wonderful Lauretta, from Lauretta's Digital Stamps! Be sure you play along with us for your chance to win!
This theme was an easy one for me, because I am a self-proclaimed punch addict! I love love love punches! I decided to try and do something funky and different with the punches this time. I'm not sure if I succeeded, but I wanted to experiment. The image is from Lauretta's Digital Stamps and is colored with Promarkers. I used the large flower punch by Stampin Up and made bunch of them in solids and patterns. I arranged the solids in all sorts of ways behind my image. Then trimmed piece of the patterned punched flowers to fit on the solids. It has a cool effect with the funky flowered DP. Speaking of the DP, that funkiness is from my stash, as is the funky glittered ribbon and the glittered flower by Prima. A pretty pink adhesive pearl is the finishing touch for the flower center. I added glitter the heart image and to the flower centers on the DP.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:

To Have And To Hold, Two Become One
Once again, Today, we have another fun new challenge for you at Craft Your Passion. This week, the theme is Two By Two. It's a ver simple one, and should be lots of time! Just show us your creation using two of something. It can be two of anything! Two images, two patterned papers, two embellishements! Anything!
Come on over to Craft Your Passion and play with us for your change to win! We are being sponsored this week by Ellephantastic! What are you waiting for?! Don't miss out on your chance to win some cute cute cute images from Ellephantastic!
I went with a Wedding/Anniversary theme this time. Sometimes I like to leave the sentiment off a card so that I can use it for more than one occasion, and this card is perfect for either Wedding or Anniversary. This adorable couple image is called Elle & Andi and is by Ellephantastic. These cuties are colored with Promarkers. I used tea green to outline her dress and veil so she will stand out, but her dress still remain white. I added glitter to her dress and veil for some sparkle and shine. That is a must, since all bride's shine on their wedding day! The DP is by Stampin Up. The lighter green card base and matting square are dry embossed with a leaf pattern. I've used a punch by Martha Stewart to make sprigs of leaves for my Flower. The flower is by Magnolia and is accented with glitter using my Clearstar Gelly Roll pen by Inksentials. The white ribbon is from my stash.

I Played With Honeycomb Because I Carrot For You!
I'm finally getting a chance to sit down and play with some of the new goodies I bought at the Scrapbook Expo in Columbus on March 25th.
If you haven't ever seen the new image sets and honeycomb paper from Inky Antics, you really need to check it out! They are awesome!
Remember those honeycomb bells and other decoration you can buy for weddings?! Well now, you can make your own with the new honeycomb paper! Whoo Hoo!
My card today uses HoneyPop Easter set from Inky Antics, and the new honeycomb paper in orange and green.
Here, above, is the front of my card. I made this card for a male friend, but it would also make a great card for a child. I went with green, for my Easter card. The DP is from my stash. I distressed the edges of the DP with distress ink and a sponge applicator. The green cardstock panel is dry. embossed with a leaf pattern. I've used antique brass brads and a fancy metal spiral paperclip to embellish the corners of the embossed panel. The layout uses the sketch at Simon Says Stamp. The sentiment and rabbits are from the Inky Antics set. I punched it out using oval and scalloped oval punches by Stampin Up. Then, sponged around it in green ink and attached it to the card using foam mounting tape. The rabbit on the outside is also mounted with foam mouthing tape.
Here is the inside of my card:
Don't you just love how that cute little carrot pops right out at you as you open it? The bunny on the inside is from the Inky Antics set. I added sponging with green ink on the inside, and stamped some grass.
All images are highlighted with a tea green Promarker, with a touch of gray added to the ears.
I hope you enjoy this cute card as much I enjoyed making it!

Anything Goes And I'm Thinking Birthday
It's challenge time at Craft Your Passion! Whooo Hooo!
This week, we have another "Anything Goes" challenge for you! Be sure you play along with us at Craft Your Passion
There are four fabulous sponsors, too!! Our sponsors are: Mami Doodles, Digital Delights By Louby Lou, The Charm Barn, and Crafter's Companion. Don't miss out on your chance to win!
One of my co-workers has a delightful little granddaughter, who's having a birthday, this month. I generally do something for little Sativa-Ann, for her birthday. This year, I wanted to be different. I decided to make this cute little birthday bucket filled with candy.
The bucket has styrofoam in the bottom, with easter grass on top. The sticks are wooden skishkabob skewers that I bought last summer, for grilling shishkabobs, and still had some lying around the house. The Image (Nesbitt) and tickets are by Digital Delights By Louby Lou. I've colored the image with Promarkers. The "flowers" are punched with scalloped circles, with the ticket sentiments attached to them, with foam mounting tape. I attached the punched flowers and Nesbitt image to the skewers with hot glue. The ribbon around the bucket is from my stash. After adding my skewers to the bucket, I filled the bucket with candy.
I think little Sativa-Ann is going to love this birthday gift!

For my project, I decided to do a fun Easter centerpiece. The bucket has styrofoam in the bottom, with easter grass on top. The sticks are wooden skishkabob skewers that I bought last summer, for grilling shishkabobs, and still had some lying around the house. I've colored the images with Promarkers, and attached them to the skewers with hot glue. The ribbon around the bucket is from Michael's.
