It's New Release Day, And Stella's On The Scene!

Once again, it's new release day at Bugaboo Stamps! If you're like me, you're a huge fan of Stella and always wanting more of her! I mean, c'mon, who doesn't love Stella?! Today's release is just what you Stella lovers out there need! Hurry over to the store and pick up yours, today!

My card today uses the new release Stella Frame It - 1 More Candle, from Bugaboo Stamps. I've colored Stella with Promarkers. I used some fun new flourish paper in creams and blues, and some fun new striped paper that seems to match perfectly. I found this awesome new bling, by Recollections, at Michael's and new it was perfect for these papers. The image is attached with foam mounting tape for dimension.

Somebirdy Loves You

For my project today, I made yet another Valentine's Day/Love Card! (I know, I know! I'm n a roll with them, lately! I've used the image and sentiment, Birdy Greetings - Birdy Love You, by Bugaboo Stamps. The image is colored with Promarkers and attached with foam mounting tape for dimension and 3D effect. The gemstone bling is from my stash. Oval and scalloped oval punches were used for the sentiment. Most of the he papers are from a new paper tablet by Stampin Up.

I made this card for my friend Dan, for Valentine's Day.

I went with a Valentine's Card for this one, because I thought this little cutie would make a fun, whimsical valentine!

My card today uses the Sketch at Sketch N Stash, for the card layout. The image is today's Friday Freebie, Scruffy Puppy, by Bugaboo Stamps. He's colored with Promarkers and has cute little wiggly eyes added, to make him even more fun! I used scraps of these fun doggie papers, from my stash, and a scrap of striped papers, to break up the doggie prints. The buttons are from my stash and are recycled from old clothing that has been thrown away. (Gotta recycle those buttons!) I also added some hand dyed dew drop pearls, with the buttons. The sentiment is punched with a label punch by EK Sucess. I used foam mounting tape for attaching the sentiment and the image.

I'm Nuts About You!

Are you ready for another Terrifically Thrilling Thursday and a new challenge at Shelly's Images?! Today is another of the oh so fun "Designer's Choice" weeks, where we, the DT, get to choose whatever image we want. This is extra special for you, because it means that ALL the images featured by the DT today are on sale, for a special price, in the Shelly's Images Store! Whoo Hoo! How's that for a bargain?! My project, today, uses the Sketch at Lia Stampz, as my card layout. I'm using this adorable little squirrel image, Nuts About You, by Shelly's Images. It reminds me so much of all the squirrels I see in my front yard in the mornings. I've been saving stale bread to feed them, and they're starting to come out in force in the mornings! I love watching them carry off an entire slice of bread! LOL! So cute! Anyway, I've colored this squirrel with Promarkers. All papers are scraps from my stash, as are the gold metal glittered brads. Ribbon is brand new. The sentiment is punched with a punch by EK Success.

Gus Is Over The Hill!

Happy Thursday, everyone!

Are you ready for Oldie But Goodie Thursday, at Catch The Bug?! The DT has some fabulous creations to show you today, so be sure to head over and check them out!

For my card, today, I brought Gus out to play! This image is Gus Birthday - Over The Hill, by Bugaboo Stamps. I really had fun with this one, and Gus is one of my favorite fellas! He's colored with Promarkers. My card layout follows the Sketch at Sketches By Carly. This was my first time making a card with a pocket on it, and I really like how it turned out. I bought these new little kraft bags/pockets with white cardstock inserts, at Hobby Lobby, and used one on the card. All papers are from my stash. The brown card base is embossed with the Cuttlebug swiss dots folder. I also embossed the green panel with circles, with another Cuttlebug folder. I found these cute birthday buttons in my button stash and thought they'd make fun embellishments. I cut the shanks off to make them lay flat. The papers and ribbon are all from my stash. The green "Birthday" button is attached to the pocket/bag insert with foam mounting tape, so that the button can be used to slide the insert out, for a handwritten message.

Newly Released Ava and Deacon! Just In Time For Valentine's Day!

Hey hey Hey, it's Tuesday, folks~ And do you know what that means?! It means new release day, at Bugaboo Stamps! Jodie has designed some fabulous images for today's release! My card today features just one of the new releases, Ava Heart, from Bugaboo Stamps. Ava is colored with Promarkers. I'm using the sketch at Sketch N Stash, for my card layout. (I never win there, but I LOVE thier sketches, so I keep playing along and hope to get lucky! LOL) I used these fun new valentine papers from my new K & C company valentine paper stack. (40% off at Michael's! Yay!) I added sparkle and bling to the card with some adhesive gems. The sentiment is by Sentiments 4 You and is punched with oval and scalloped oval punches. Both the sentiment and image are attached with foam mounting tape, for dimension.

I created this card for my husband, for Valentine's Day.

Sketch It With Bugaboo Stamps

Hope everyone had a fabulous time on our blog hop and in all the mini challenges this week! We appreciate each and every one of you who played along and helped Bugaboo Stamps celebrate thier 2nd Birthday!

It's saturday, and that means time for a new challenge at

I've used this week's sketch, of course, for my card layout. The image is Bbrat Girl Balloon Sitter, by Bugaboo Stamps. This little cutie is colored with Promarkers. The flowers are diecut, precolored flowers from the wedding department at Michael's. I used green and lavender and layered them so the green would look like leaves. The flower centers are dew drop pearls that I hand dyed, myself, to make the perfect color. I used scraps of green paper from my stash, and a pretty floral paper from a new paper stack I got for Christmas. The image is punched with circle and scalloped circle punches and attached with foam mounting tape for dimension.

A Sketchy Birthday

It's that time, again! Time for our daily mini challenge, to celebrate the 2nd birthday of Bugaboo Stamps! I hope everyone is enjoying the mini challenges and is finding the time to play along!

Today's mini challenge is a sketch challenge. If you're like me, you love sketches! They are fantastic inspiration for thinking outside the box!

Today I'm using the sketch for today's mini challenge, along with this cutie patootie image, Deacon-Cake, by Bugaboo Stamps. Deacon is colored with Promarkers. I used masculine type colors for this one, so I'd have a male birthday card. After all, we can't forget the boys now, can we?! Ive used all scrap papers from my stash, with a mix of polka dots, stripes and flourishes. The border is punched with a border punch by Martha Stewart. I've also used several other punches: circle, scalloped circle, oval and scalloped oval. The sentiment is from Sentiments 4 You.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Shelly's Images!

Good Morning! I have a fun challenges to tell you about, today! It's Terrifically Thrilling Thursday at Shelly's images so that means a new challenge! This week's theme is "Show us What You Got." That's right! Anything Goes! Whoo Hoo! It's also Shelly's 2 nd birthday! There's blog candy to be won, in addition to the challenge prize! Come over and play along at Shelly's images for your chance to win!

For my card, today, I'm using the Wedding Bells image, from Shelly's Images. I've colored the image with Promarkers. My card layout uses the sketch at Sketch N Stash to create this wedding card. My papers are all new, from a new Recollections paper stack I bought last weekend. I was so excited to find a black and white paper stack! They were perfect for my "black and white with splashes of color," card. The sentiment and image are mounted with foam mounting tape for dimension. I added black dew drop pearls from my stash, for embellishing the bottom corners.

A Little Birdie Told Me...

Here we are, again! Time for another mini challenge to celebrate the 2nd birthday of Bugaboo Stamps! The theme, today, is to use bling and primary colors. Another simple one for you! I hope you've been playing along every day! There are awesome prizes to be won!

My project today uses the image, Bugaboo Angels - A Little Birdie, by Bugaboo Stamps. She is colored with Promarkers. OF course, I followed the primary colors theme, and added some bling. All papers are scraps from my stash. The bling is new, part of my Christmas goodies. Santa was good to me! The sentiments are punched with oval, scalloped oval and circle punches. The image and sentiments were attached with foam mounting tape for 3D effect and Dimension.

Birthday Elegance For New Release

Are you ready for another mini challenge, to celebrate Bugaboo Stamps' 2nd birthday?! We have a new one for you, today!

Today's mini challenge is to use the new Release image and make a birthday project with a bow. Another simple one! Come over to Catch The Bug and play along with us, in the newest mini challenge?!


My project, today, features today's new release, bride3,from Bugaboo Stamps. I've colored her with Promarkers. This is my first attempt at a joy fold card, and I love how it turned out. This is such a fun fold to work with! I used three different papers. One embossed with a swirly pattern, one with a slight gold sheen, and one embossed with silver swirls. The combination turned out to be quite elegant, I think. The papers are all new. The black and white polka dotted ribbon is from my stash.

Kick Off Your Heels and Party!

Whoo Hoo! Here we are with our first Mini Challenge for you, to celebrate the Birthday of Bugaboo Stamps! This is a fun, one, so you're going to want to play along!

The theme of this mini challenge is Birthday -In 2's. We want to see a birthday project with two of something on it! Easy, peasy, right?! We have lots more mini challenges planned - one for every day this week, so you want to make sure you check us out at Catch The Bug and play along with us! There are awesome prizes up for grabs!

My card today features the image, Heels - Polka Dot, from Bugaboo Stamps. I printed the image twice and cut them out with fussy cutting. This gorgeous pair of heels is colored with Promarkers. How cool are these?! Wouldn't you love to have a pair just like them? I used these brand new papers that I got for Christmas, to do the background. I love love love purple and green together! One of my favorite color combinations! The sentiment is computer generated. The PARTY banner was made by punching the leters with a mini circle punch and them arranging them in a fun way. The sentiment, party banner and images are attached with foam mounting tape for 3D effect and added dimension.

Love and Romance at Paper Creations Ink

Yay! It's Finally time! I've been holding it under my hat for awhile now.. and now the day is finally here! I'm the Guest Designer at Paper Creations Ink this fortnight! Whooo Hoo! How cool is that?! I love playing along in their challenges, so I was very thrilled when Sara gave me the opportunity to play along with the team for one challenge! Such a talented group they are, so I'm in wonderful company!

I decided to go with a Tri Fold Shutter card. I always send my single friend a card for Valentine's Day, so this card will be for him. Here is the front of my card, when folded:

The image is from Smeared Ink, and is colored with Promarkers. I used all papers from my stash. I love the houndstooth mixed with the hearts and polka dots! It's such a funky combination and seemed perfect for the image. I also got a chance to use some of my new heart shaped adhesive gems on this one, to add some sparkle and bling. I had seen a card similar to this before, and had been wanting to make something resembling it, for a long time, so I was happy when I could find enough of the similar items! The lips came in a valentine die cuts package that I bought - I was so lucky to get them! The SWAK , tag and love U were cut from the Cricut.
